Not everyone can actually tender N2000 for data subscription. So reducing the tariff to N1000 (might not be cheaper) is better appealing to the massess.

I'm sure you wouldn't have wanted the job either -- unless you were willing to take a pay cut.
Not in this world!
It wasn't as if I was having issues at the office then. It was just that work was getting too monotonous they refused to transfer me to another department. It got so bad I willingly offered to work with the IT department at no extra cost to the office. If they had offered me same salary as I was earning then, I would have gladly left for the new place.

I went for an interview once and I was asked how much I was being paid at my (then) place of work. When I told them (the honest truth) everybody in the panel were like shocked
The lady that asked me the question simply told me "Even our MD does not earn that much" and I knew that was it, I will never get this job.

CelebritiesRe: AY Live: Toyin Aimakhu Embarrassed Again On Stage Over Iphone 6 by shevon: 12:52pm On Apr 07, 2015
For a couple of weeks now, Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu has been trending in the News over one controversy or the other.
Just as she was at the verge of getting away with the 'I'll die for PDP' comment, her fans again lambasted her for congratulating the President-elect, Gen. Buhari, over his awesome wining at the recently concluded Presidential elections.
The fair complexioned script interpreter has had another unpleasant moment with some of the guests at AY Live.
The drama started when the host of the show, AY, announced that there would be a give away phones to a particular set of people.

AY said that courtesy of Maltina, the official sponsor of the show, that 10 brand new iPhone 6 would be up for grabs.
He gave condition for the winnings; those with tickets that certain words were written on it were beckoned to step forward to claim the phones.
Before the comedian could finish reading out the terms for the prizes, Toyin dashed out, followed by Empress Njamah; who took Funke Akindele's ticket.
Although AY was reluctant initially, because of the negative reactions of the audience, but he later gave the two actresses an iPhone each.
He also made jest of them for drooling over such give aways when they could have allowed other people enjoy such great opportunity.
Adding to AY's comments of disappointment, I Go Dye also tongue lashed the actresses for embarrassing themselves on stage over mere phone that they could easily afford based on the standard.

PoliticsRe: If You Are Not Voting Come In And Let's Share Views On Presidential Election. by shevon:
I have never liked the idea of going out to cast votes during elections because I don't trust Politicians, and I am one of those that would not blame any politician because I know my inaction (in a way) helped put them where they are. But in 2011 I decided to go out of my way and vote Jonathan because he was like a deviation from the norm, he was not one of those recycled politician and I believed he would want to bring about a difference. See where we are today.
In this country, those that have good track record in governance are never given the opportunity to serve, those with obvious questionable character are seen in every aspect of governance. Worse still, those who are in a position to question these people of shady character are either frustrated into oblivion or gets cut down in one way or the other.
Every government that has ruled since I became politically aware of my environment has never seen itself do wrong, so anybody criticizing them (even constructively) is seen as an enemy of the state. The moment our politicians realize that nobody is perfect and that the dent in one's character can best be spotted by others, and vice versa, then things will begin to get better.
As of today, I'm not convinced that anybody that wins will do anything different from what others have done in the past (I stand to be corrected) and as such I'm not bothering myself to go out and vote.
For those who do and their preferred candidates do not win, election is supposed to be a show of will and choice of the people and not the test of strength and weapon power. Let's all imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and not that of gamesmanship. This fragile peace we enjoy can never be equated with the slightest civil unrest or fight under any guise.
Let's be wise for our sake and that of our future generation.
Go and vote and not fight.
God bless us all.

PoliticsRe: Chibok Girls Finally Rescued In Gwoza by shevon: 5:40am On Mar 27, 2015
geoworldedu:
The effort of the military has paid well when the Chibok girls were discovered in a large tent today. According to the leader of the troops who carried out the attack on in insurgents, the Nigerian Armies caught them unawares when the Boko Haram members were busy taking their bath in a river close to the Gwoza camp. This is a very good development for the Federal Government who have relentlessly been searching everywhere for the girls before narrowing down their search to Gwoza on Thursday, as opposed to Sambisa forest which has remained the purported refuge of the kidnappers.

1. One of the soldiers said, 'It is a big surprise to see that the girls are all hale and hearty, an indication that the islamist extremists has taken good care of them. Amidst what we saw in their domicile are crates of eggs, honey, tins of milk, etc.

2."Another spokesperson for the military said that a man fled, whose back part appears to be that of Shekau when he saw the FG troops. He fled with an android device and a 200megapixel camera, because a pieces of the camera fell while he was fleeing."

The parents of the Chibok's girl are highly expectant to meet their children, but the president has said that Gwosa is not safe for the meeting, therefore he has ordered that the Chibok's girls be flown to Abuja immediately while their parents would come for them later in the day, after the election.

One of the parents was quoted, saying, "I saw my girls on camera. Thank God for Goodluck Jonathan. In Sha Allah, you shall win the election ongoing today." She also urged all good Nigerian citizens to vote for the incumbent president because he is the man who can truly bring salvation to the nation.

March 28, 2015

Analysis of the bolded:

A woman has already said that the Boko Haram are taking good care of the girls, so it will not be absurd if our actors (soldiers) say that they found Milo, Bournvita, Honey and Moringa Oleifera in the camp of the Chibok's girls. This will then complement what that paid woman said in the first place.

Also, the Chibok's girl we will see with the soldiers will be healthy-looking, an indication that they are all taken care of. Why? If the FG rents battered Chibok's girls, people will believe that they have been molested by the BH members and the song of hate on GEJ will continue.

The second bolded talks about a Shekau who fled during the attack and whose camera was damaged. The Shekau will release an audio clip instead and will say, "Even though you have the Chibok's girl, the battle is just beginning because our sponsor is still alive." With this, everybody will think that BUHARI is the sponsor the 'fake' Shekau is talking about.

With this propaganda on election day, many BUHARI fans will change their minds as well as many illiterates and vote for GEJ, giving him a landslide victory.

Also, internet access will be very poor that day, so that the real SHEKAU could find it difficult to post anything to the media.

NOW THIS PDP PROPAGANDA WILL NOT TAKE EFFECT IF YOU AND I CAN SPREAD THIS NEWS FAR AND WIDE BEFORE THE NEWS COMES UP FOR REAL TOMORROW OR VERY EARLY ON ELECTION DAY. PUT IT ON YOUR WHATSAPP, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK AND ON NL PAGES.

WE NEED CHANGE!!!
Come, if this is not a figment of your imagination, kindly provide the source.

when two people have a fight, it is only the two of them that can actually tell you the exact reason why they are fighting, sometimes sef them dey forget wetin cause the fight
now the younger sis of op has told op about the fight and she says na money matter cos the beating
now, have we heard the husbands own side?
do we know if op sis is constantly asking her husband for money and nagging him when he does not provide the money?
there are other angles/side of this story we are not aware of
since op mama wan go there go fight, let her go, but not to go and fight, rather to go and hear both sides of the story
after which she can then profer advise accordingly
simple
now you understand me?
I understand you perfectly, which is why I wrote the following -

@OP: Tiff between a husband and a wife, in whatever form, is very normal but should never get to the level where the husband beats up his wife. That is absolutely unacceptable. Be that as it may, your mum going to beat the childish husband is not the solution. Beg her to go and speak with the guy, subsequent issues between him and his wife should not get to a third ear. I am sure if he hadn't beat your sister, the issue would not have gotten to your mother's hearing. And for your sister, since we don't know the full gist of the financial gbege, there is no way we can advice her as to how to handle such issues, but I believe you are matured enough to handle this one issue since you said it is nothing serious. She should understand that some of us men are just grown babies, she should study her husband and know how to manage him when there are issues in the house such that won't lead to the big baby, sorry... husband beating her. I feel very sorry for her though. 2 years and he is raising his hand on her already. All is well sha.

Big ups to you though.
