TV/MoviesRe: Nigerian Commercials (TV Adverts) by shockreaction(m): 7:09am On Jan 25, 2006
Haha. Hmm, let's see..

Alabukun: where two tablets fly around in space and break down wall-like thingies

Then there's this one, Laide cream or something, "Laide o, tiwa ni..." (can't remember the remaining part)

Toyota "Good thinking, Good product". The Japanese version of that phrase sounded funny, then.

"Spoil am, break am, nonsense to you." I'm sure everyone remembers the GP tank adverts. tongue
RomanceRe: Love, Attraction or Infatuation: Which Comes First? by shockreaction(m): 12:33pm On Jan 24, 2006
Definitely attraction.

Infatuation? Well, no. Infatuation doesn't happen with me.
As I get to know the person, over time, I either start to like, or dislike the person, based on personality.

If nothing works out, I forget about it and move on.
RomanceRe: Why Is It Bad When A Woman Sleeps With Many Men But Cool When A Man Does Same? by shockreaction(m): 2:33pm On Jan 23, 2006
Of course a guy who sleeps around can be called a LovePeddler. Look up the meaning.

Christianity EtcRe: Is It True: Wearing Trouser/Pants Is Condemned In The Bible? by shockreaction(m): 10:57pm On Jan 11, 2006
I guess it's really just all about women dressing decently. I mean, most women wear tight trousers, and clothes in general, which brings about a very sexy shape that men find very enticing. Now, obviously, as was stated by Jesus in the Bible, once a man thinks of sleeping with a woman, he has committed fornication (somewhere in Matthew 5 or so), and yeah, constantly looking at women, esp. the ones wearing the tight clothes, is well, bound to fall...
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend's Grandmother is My Dad's Sister by shockreaction(m): 3:57pm On Dec 28, 2005
Technically, there's nothing actually wrong with having a relationship with your cousin, except for the genetic relation, but cousins aren't as closely related as say, your brother/sister, father, mother or brothers/sisters of your father/mother. And as for Christians who will go on about how this and that is wrong, read through your Bible tongue Leviticus details stuff about this I suppose...

I'm no expert in this things.
TV/MoviesRe: Television Shows You Can't Do Without by shockreaction(m): 11:07am On Dec 28, 2005
I hardly watch TV these days, and I can't stand to watch TV for more than 2 hours at a stretch. So yeah, I can basically "survive" without all TV shows. grin

ComputersWanted: Second-hand Pentium IV 2.4GHz processor, Budget: N12k by shockreaction(op): 12:01pm On Dec 19, 2005
Well, the subject sorta explains it all.

I am in need of a second-hand Pentium IV processor, and my current budget is N12,000 (Twelve thousand Naira only). I can settle for clockspeeds between 2.0GHz and 2.4GHz at that price.

Any offers?

Thanks.

TV/MoviesRe: Americans Don't Watch Nigerian Movies? by shockreaction(m): 8:33pm On Nov 06, 2005
Doesn't surprise me one bit.

Anyway, EVERY Nigerian movie I've seen released within the past 6 to 9 months comes in 2 parts. What the hell!

EDIT: By "seen", I don't mean I've watched the movie.

FamilyRe: Help: I'm Married But In Love With Another Woman by shockreaction(m): 5:29pm On Oct 23, 2005
You can always have a second wife... having more than one wife is not a sin.

Or, you can just forget about her. You're s'posed to love your wife, anyway. That's why you got married in the first place.

Seriously, come on...
FamilyRe: When Love Dies, Will You Stay For The Sake Of Your Children? by shockreaction(m): 9:02am On Oct 22, 2005
"when love finishes"?

Lol. That phrase sounds so funny.

If you got married to someone, you got married for love. If anything goes wrong, try as much as possible to fix it. Make it up to your partner, forgive, and forget. It makes things get better in the long run. All you need is patience and time.

RomanceRe: How Do You Tell a Guy You Don't Like Him? by shockreaction(m): 8:56am On Oct 22, 2005
Well, first of all, I hate your friend.

Three, she should stop leading him on and tell him straight up.
Yes, it's going to break the guy's heart, but then, he's got to move on.
