tobeuriel:When you say "Fall Semester", did you mean Fall 2022 or Fall 2023? Most of the colleges and universities are preparing to resume for Fall 2022; although there may still be few of them still offering admission for Fall 2022 though. My suggestion is if you are able to secure admission for Fall (Sept.) 2022 or Winter (Jan) 2023 (best option) now, you may be able to begin your study visa application now. Also, do not underrate admission process, it may be rigorous and laborious. Some colleges and universities don't offer admission on a rolling basis but once a year. |
Chikajoe:Don't defer your admission now: quickly submit your application now, if by the end of August you haven't been given visa, you can then defer. |
Helengirl:Congratulations |
vicnoshon:In fact, there is a green light if the reason is beyond reasonable doubt. It depends on how you defend yourself in your SOP. |
Uju4real002:A lawyer is not above the law. If you don't want to sue him, you can go on with your UCI number and application number. That's all you need to reapply or find out what happened (order your GCMS notes) |
nk20:If you won't have anything, you should be able to have your UCI number and application number. With your UCI number and application number, you can get all the documents he submitted in your application and the have a bird-eye view on the visa officers' concerns about your application through ordering of GCMS notes. |
Uju4real002:With your UCI number and application number, you can request for your GCMS notes. With GCMS notes, you can have a bird-eye view of everything that has been happening. GCMS notes is like a journal where every detail of your application is recorded. You will request for the first and second application. You will also see the documents the agent submitted and whether or not he has landed you into problem. |
Uju4real002:Try to get your UCI number and application number and log-in details (GCkey) from him/her. With these, you can request for your GCMS notes and know what the VO concerns are. Subsequently, you'll be independent of him/her. It's your right to have your UCI and application number and all the documents (s)he submitted including GCkey or log-in details. If (s)he refuses, arrest and sue him/her for damages. Any agent that refuses to give you your log-in details (GCkey) is a slave master. Hate them with passion and fight them with the law. You have paid the agent, he is your employee or contractor. Putting you in the dark is a breach of contract. You would also claim you are suspecting him/her of submitting fake documents on your behalf. He may probably have: if this is true, he may have landed you into the problem of inadmisibility and misrepresentation. With all these, he can't escape the law. |

vicnoshon:It's possible if the course (PGD) is related to your job. Job experience overrides your qualifications. For example, someone who has a degree in Biochemistry but has been working in a bank for 8 years may wish to upgrade him/herself by going for a PGD in Banking or Financial Services. He/She could claim this certificate would enable him/her have promotion and better chance of maintaining his/her relevance in the industry. |
Samtob4life:Send me a mail. |
Biot34:Order for your GCMS notes to have a bird-eye view on the VO concerns before reapplying |
Tupalo:$1/#332 CBN Form A rate. Black market $1/#453 |
nadesh:There are many options available: thus; 1. Express Entry. 2. Study Route. 3. Work Permit Route. The first and the second are easier. |
Beautifulchy:You can browse their website to see open courses. All you need to do is to surf the internet. |
geekly44:GCMS notes is a journal that records all the activities and progresses about your visa application. For example, Jan 1 Application opened: Jan 2 upfront medical report submitted: Feb 1 Eligibility review started Feb 2, Medical passed: Feb 4 PPR request. In short, GCMS note helps you know the status or progress of your application. It reveals the interaction, concern, opinion etc of Visa Officers handling your application. It is used to pin point the concern of the VO in order to know what to address well in re application if necessary. GCKey is a login details to access the portal for visa application. |
eniola1010:FOREX is a legitimate business, hence, funds from FOREX is a legitimate source of income in so far you can present your account statement and show how the profit came in. FOREX brokerage is a non bank financial institution. Get account statement from your broker. For Crypto, since Nigeria has banned it, it may show you are not a lawful applicant as you are not even lawful in your country: how unlawful would you be if in Canada! If you were residing in a country where crypto is not outlawed, it's a legitimate source of income. |
Trailblazer21:Yes, it's too bad of us. Meanwhile, I want to let you know that you can trust only your application as genuine, not others. Quite a number of people have gotten away with fake Polytechnic of Ibadan's cert, fake DELSU, LASU cert etc They have been using these fake certs since say 20 years ago, it has now become like original because it looks normal to them. Those people would come up here, genuinely apply for visa: the next thing is story. I just used educational credentials as an example; there are so many documents that can be falsified. Due to past history of mysteries in our applications, they don't trust us again at all. Perhaps, you don't know that being just a Nigerian is a stigma and competition to even other African nations. We have criminal tendency as part of our culture, we call this tendency "smartness", "true naija" etc. In fact, it'll be difficult to see anyone who hasn't falsified documents or bypassed normal processes at any stage of life. You'll need to go to Rwanda for example to observe what I call "Nigeria Stigma". You'll observe how they deal with you in business because they believe you are too smart or are there to scam them even when you have good intention. This behaviour is more common with Igbos 85%, Yoruba 60%, Niger-Delta 75%, Hausa 50% etc. These set of people would inately desire to jump or scatter queues when it's not favouring them: they would do too much calculations in their heads when doing business to delude you, yet they call it smartness: they'll lie to carjole you: they'll desire to cheat in the exam, they'll buy fake documents etc. |
hesjay:Congratulations |
Trailblazer21:The hypothesis is our criminal tendency. Candidly, you'll be surprised by the number of people who submitted fake documents, fake bank account etc. So, they are taking their time to cross-check, confirm and ensure every documents are genuine. The rate is higher here. It happens with Indians, Philippinos etc too, but it's on the high side here. Why can't IRCC trust us if we say we have WAEC Cert? Why can't they trust us if we say we are married or not? The time it takes to verify this information makes our processing time longer than others. This is why they classify us as "DIRTY FIFTY"-- a combination of countries where dangerous and criminal-looking applications do come from. We need to change our ways. I pray that any negative report concerning us shall be erased in Jesus name. Amen! |
Febisola007:If your application is under eligibility review, you should be looking forward to getting medical exam request. If you get medical exam request after eligibility review has started, this is a good indication that they want to approve your application. Everything is based on probability which means nothing is certain |
amila20042001:Order for your GCMS note and see what may be happening. This would make them open your book and probably do something. |
youngmusty:Both Data Analytics and Business Analytics are tech programs. Kindly note that some courses are either Business Analytics or Data Analytics but they won't be called by the names: you could see something like Predictive Analysis, Business Intelligence and Insight Analysis, Financial Technology, Data Science etc. It's when you read the overviews you'll get to know the profession the course leads to. |
shinaxurdick:Please use Form A to make international payment at CBN rate if you're paying for tuition fee, tuition deposit, PBTA, etc. |
Fawaz12345:You'll mostly see few colleges and universities still open for fall intake, but if you are lucky to find one, quickly apply, get the admission letter and apply for visa right a way. It's getting late. You can apply with your current passport but be aware that you'll need to renew your passport and update IRCC later. |
You'll be good with Data Analytics if you have some years of job experience in it. With your degree in Economics and job experience, some colleges and universities would give you admission. Alternatively, you could opt for Business Analytics: this is better than Data Analytics as it builds the bridge between Data and Business. A Business Analyst can work as a Data Analylist. Being a graduate of Economics, it will be easier to gain admission into Business Analytics programs without work experience in the field. youngmusty: |
NBCC is a time waster, they won't tell you whether or not there is a space for an intake, they'll just collect your application fee and tell you to wait till they have space for you (waitlist). You could wait for a year, more or less. I will advise you leave them and look for admission elsewhere in order not to waste your time. Also, ensure you avoid colleges and universities that delight in this kind of strategy. Tawis06: |
Yes if there is a reason. Icesnow: |
I know that visa application fee + biometric fee is $235 which amounts to around #77,000 - #97,000 depending on the exchange rate used. For admission, many schools accept around $100 - $120 as application fee. This is around #33,200 - #66,000. Any other fee, I don't know Also, while some people get their visa application approved in less than 4 months, some have waited for more than 4 months without a decision yet. No one can guarantee the processing time of an application nowadays and no one can guarantee visa approval. Inyas2015: |
On which credential is better, I won't answer that because the credential names speak for themselves. Being a Nigerian, you should understand better. Being PGWP eligible is not all about discipline but the school and the program. A school is qualified to run PGWP eligible programs if it's a designated learning institution. Before enrolling in a course, you must confirm whether it qualifies for PGWP if it matters to you. On the college that runs Banking and Finance, you'll need to research for yourself. Only through this method can a novice learn. If you don't wish to disturb your yourself, you can employ the services of agents. Sheezy008: |
Barzoid:Not many people can answer your questions or provide you responses. You must research by yourself. If you want assistance concerning visa application, people can answer your questions |
Sheezy008:Yes, it is true. There are many options of becoming a Permanent Resident (PR) of Canada after study. You must study a course that qualifies for Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). If you study for 8 months or 1 year, you'll get a 1 year PGWP; 2 year course would get you a 2 - 3 years of PGWP. This is after completion of your course. During this PGWP period, you can explore many options of becoming a PR. With your ND, you can enroll for BSc or Adv. Diploma and claim credits for completed courses. You can as well go for a Diploma if you wish. |
