johnstan: Good morning everyone,
I having been silently following this thread for a while now with the intention of submitting my visa application in July so i can have ample time to gather my documents. Please i would like someone to evaluate/guide me on this as i am beginning to develop anxiety/panic attack based on some of the feedbacks i have been reading on this thread.
I have a letter of admission already for Jan 2023 intake Conestoga college, currently processing to pay my tuition initial deposit, my mum and brother are my sponsors (mum's account is an account she rarely uses, however, she paid in a lump sum with the intention of setting it aside for my expenses and pof, brother's account has steady transactions), my undergrad is in industrial physics while the choice of study is in computer sci/analysis.
Please i need ideas on which documents would be best for me to attach to my application aside the obvious ones. my mum is a civil servant and my bro is a doc. Don't panic. Study visa application process doesn't call for that. You either get approval or denial. If you get denial, you will mend the issue raised and resubmit. You'll get your visa approval at last. With guidance, you can be rest assured of smooth process: although that doesn't still guarantee visa approval, but chances of approval can be increased. You just must do it the right way and leave the rest to God. Documents to submit apart from the "obvious" ones as you've said are dependent on your case scenario. Documents Mr A submitted may be different from those of Mr B. It all depends on your situation. |

Symplyannaa: Okay thanks please how is the study permit process like? How do one apply is it after admission? And how long does it take Can I start now for my process of study permit or when I get my admission Study visa application process starts after an admission has been secured, and terms and conditions are met. To apply for study visa, it doesn't take a long time in as much as your documents are complete and provided. You should take cognizance that getting documents ready can be daunting, it could take you days, weeks, months or years. For example, some people can't get their transripts now due to ASUU strike. For decision on study visa, no one can give accurate timeline of study visa process. There have been people who applied for study visa and got approval or denial within 9 days, 11 days, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months and some longer than 4 months. |

Please can I apply for MBA program and which school is best with low tuition in Canada for it . I’m 22years old and I just Graduated. Please I want to do my masters in Canada. Can someone please help me on how the process is like? Please I need your answer If your CGPA is on 5.0 scale, it means you have second class lower division. With this result, you can't get admission into Master's degree in Canada, or let me say it will be difficult. You can get admission for Post Graduate Diploma. |

Ojb555666: Please are there other finance companies aside mpower? As my school is not amongst the listed ones. You don't have to stick to one school. You can target those ones listed by Mpower. There are some companies in Nigeria that do that, but I don't put my hands in it because some of them are hiding under the aegis of being loan companies: but truly, they are criminals. |

And when is the best time to apply for January intake? And also, how long does it take to get Mpower funding?

Which university is good for nursing and are open for fall 2022 Most universities are close for Fall intake. You should be preparing to apply for Winter intake. You also didn't state the level of education you intend pursuing. Meanwhile, while some colleges and universities have closed for Fall 2022, there are still some that are open. There are Bachelor of Nursing Science programs starting in Fall 2022, Winter 2022 and so on. There are Diploma in Nursing or Practical Nursing still open for Fall 2022 intake but will soon close if it hasn't closed. There are Diploma in Addiction and Mental Health, PGC/PGD in Nursing for international trained nurses, PGD in Mental Health, PGD in Autism and Behavioral Science among many others |

Lezy: How come your CBN rate is 323?
I went to pay my tuition fees with Form A, which I had already filled and I went to the GT Bank, they told me the rate 575? Not all bank staff know what Form A is. They are probably telling you the black market rate. Also, you need not visit GT to do Form A. The CBN rate has been flunctuating around $1/413 to 417 since February for USD. For CAD, it's been around 332 and 335 for a dollar since February. |

CharitoJames: Application for Fall next year opens October. Fall this year is closed since March You can't say more than you know. Some colleges still offered admission for Fall 2022 this month. As a word of probability, perhaps they stopped yesterday or are stopping today, I put "if it's not late". You don't necessarily have to wait till October to get admission for Fall next year in some colleges. Perhaps you are referring to colleges and universities that offer admission once per year. I took into consideration those that offer admission on rolling basis. |

Are there other other things should be doing while waiting for admission? You must wait for admission because you need the admission letter to apply: while waiting for admission, you may begin getting your documents ready and start working on your POF |

MsLane: Good Morning All. I need help in deciding what to do. I have a 15Y study gap. Graduated in 2006; but I have been working since I finished my NYSC in 2008; total of 14 years. I am 36YO. I want to apply to study in Canada; I tried doing an MSc but it is expensive and most of the schools I have seen are requesting for GRE or GMAT. I read through Centennial College and Humber College's Entry Requirements and can't see Academic IELTS. Is this correct? I am also looking at New Brunswick Community College. Is it advisable to go for a PG Certificate or an outright Msc because of the Study Gap and Experience? I do not want to pay $75CAD twice. PG Cert is good for you due to the study gap. Most schools will likely not offer you admission for Master degree because of the study gap. Quite a good number of schools don't request IELTS from Nigerians. Be careful of NBCC and others that delight in eating application fee by throwing you into a waitlist. |

zeza01: [good morning , I just got a text from Qlife that my health cases have been submitted. Does that mean medical have been passed? No! It only meant that your medical report has been submitted to IRCC. You should expect to see your profile change to either "Medical Passed" or "We are reviewing your medical exam" After reviewing the medical report, IRCC can then recommend that you pass the medical exam. Qlife can't recommend whether or not you pass. If you have any medical issue that needs immediate resolution, IRCC will request for additional medical examination. |

Makah00: Greetings canada Nairaland . I have motive to travel to the canada for my msc I applied to 3 schools for fall 2022 and they all denied me admission. I am still crying like this
I studied economics for my undergraduate with a CGPA of 3.84/5.00 and I’m planing to apply for my masters in economics for fall 2023 . I graduated in 2019 Gurus in the house I need your advice of the following questions I have taken the ielts exams I have already Registered for gre exam too My question 1)Is there a chance to get a school with full funding or at least part ? As I have searched online for schools that offers scholarships 2) when should I start sending cold mail to professors Please house I need mentors abeg . I need people to guide me through. Thank you Those universities did not offer you admission PROBABLY because of the following reasons: 1. You applied to a highly competitive universities that require 80% or more GPA in the last two semesters or years. I don't see you have this judging by your CGPA of 3.84/5. 2. Most universities in Canada accept 77% or more of GPA in the last two semesters or years. You may have struggled to have this, perhaps your had attained good grades during your early years and semesters but did not maintain it during your final 2 two semesters or years which weakened your CGPA. 3. If you applied to University of Saskatchewan and/or University of Northern British Columbia UNBC and you were not offered admission, it is the corroboration of the above two points. In light of this, you should try to find admission without looking for possible funding. All in all, if you tried more times and failed to secure an offer of admission, I would advise you go for PGD which is typically 8 months to 2 years. |

Belleville: Good day everyone I'm new on this thread and I need information about colleges in Canada that are good and inexpensive..... thanks When you say "inexpensive" and "good", what are your definitions? What level of education are you trying to pursue? What is your current educational qualification and grade? Schools in Canada are all good and regarded as having same standard. Master degree tuition fee ranges from $9000 to $20,000+ per year depending on the course, province and admission policies. (1 year to 2 years) PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip ranges from $11,000 to $20,000+ per year depending on the course, province and admission policies. (8 months to 2 years) Undergraduate Level: Certificate ranges between $7000 to $30,000+ (8 months to 1 year) Diploma ranges between $9000 to $30,000+ (2 years) Advance Diploma ranges from $9000 to $40,000+ (3 years) Bachelor degree same as above (2 years to 4 years) Kindly provide accurate information so as to have accurate advice. Information such as program level, course and grade are important in determining the accuracy of information/advice you will get here. Also, note that the different tuition fees quoted above are not accurate but can give you a glimpse of what to expect. |
