Alternatively, if you have ND or NCE prior to having BSc and you have transcript for either of the two, you can proceed on applying for admission. Conditional admission would be given with instruction that you provide the transcript for the BSc at a later date if at all it would be needed

Please I'm a first time applicant...I need your advice on the expected lump sum. Is it advisable to proceed as planned?
You don't need to defer your admission or delay your application in as much as you tidy up your application the right way.

Lump sum is not a problem if you have reasonable explanation for it

Hi boss I am a little confused about people submitting their waec results or certificate for visa processing. Does it really matter cos first ny waec no good na neco I dy use and secondly I am going to do a graduate certificate course not a degree.
You will submit whatever O'level you wish to submit: it doesn't necessarily need to be WAEC.

Hey everyone,
Please in a case where the amount stated on the tax clearance as annual income is different (low) from salaries paid to the bank statement of account, will this be an issue at the embassy? Taxes are mostly not paid in full by private companies in nigeria.

Guru's in the house please help out
Ignore that and focus on more important things if you have no skeleton in your cupboard. IRCC is not a tax organization, and study visa is different from Express Entry: they are not interested in the job of tax accountant.

There is nothing you can do except you have the transcript.

Alternatively, if you have ND or NCE prior to having BSc and you have transcript for either of the two, you can proceed on applying for admission.

Ok great then. With 10m and a course with tuition of like 3m per semester. It will be a one year course. Do I still need a sponsor please.
Also I am having fears concerning visa interview. Tho a friend said he was not interviewed.
Yes, you will need a sponsor because the cause you have chosen is way too expensive for your 10 million budget.

This is one of the reasons I mentioned earlier that you need to do it the way it should be done for more chances of success.

Canada doesn't always conduct interview for study visa applicants; although they may request for one rarely.

Hi everyone. Please I need an expert to tell me what and what I need to get a Canadian study visa without refusal. I am very new to this.
And I’m applying into a college. Financially in like 10m

Thanks in advance.
First of all, you need to secure admission, have your admission letter and pay tuition deposit if any.

After taking care of admission, it's time to apply for your visa. With your 10m, you are financially sufficient to apply for study visa if you don't choose expensive courses.

If you do everything the way it should be done, chances of getting visa approval is high.

No one can guarantee visa. Kindly take note.

Hello guys, I need you guys intake on this. I was recently refused for my study visa application based on my personal asset and financial status.

My half sister paid my first semester tuition fee which reflected on her bank statement while my dad opted to support me for my room and boarding but didn't make commitment.

This time around, I intend to show further proof that my half-sister is related to me by blood also, my dad will also be making a commitment of 1m to my personal account and more funds will be sent as my room and boarding upon my arrival in canada. The only issue now is that my dad close friend is willing to make a pledge of $10,000 dollars has a gift upon the approval of my study application and willing to provide a bank statement and sponsorship letter but very important to note that he isn't willing to make that commitment yet except until the visa has been approved

My question is hope it won't be a red flag indicating that my family friend pledged a certain sum of money upon the approval as I originally intend using my sister and my dad as my sponsor whom also have very good inflow and outflow on their bank statements and valuable landed properties

Or should I just remove the third party sponsorship pledge away from the POF
Remove everything about him since his presence in your SOP cannot add anything positive.

Hello everyone, please I need you all input. I applied for visiting in 2019 but I was refused and the agent I used sent me the refusal letter. I applied for study visa since Jan 2022 and I'm yet to get a decision. However, I did biometric in 2019 but I was sent another biometric request letter again in Feb, so I had to redo the biometric. Now, I discovered the refusal letter that the agent gave me doesn't have a date. Could it be I was banned and the agent tailored the letter? These thoughts have been on my head for few days now. Please help me. What can I do?
Order for GCMS notes. You'll have a bird-eye view on what may be happening.

He said refused based on personal asset and financial status, no need to order for gcms note in my view. The reason cited doesn't warrant ordering a gcms except the applicant submitted substantial evidence proving a good financial situation and asset, then the gcms note would unravel their main reason. But if the applicant feels the financial documents provided is not strong enough to convince the VO, then the best thing to do is to address their concern in the next application and it will be approved. Besides, the time it would take for gcms note to be out is enough to submit even if na two applications lol. It's well
Please let him order GCMS notes; sometimes, it is not what we think may be the cause actually is the cause.

I have seen someone denied based on the fact that the bank account statement the applicant submitted was over compressed, hence making the VO not able to view the statement of account; due to this, the VO cited "personal and financial asset" as the cause of the denial.

Also, someone has been denied visa due to personal and financial asset because the applicant was not able to successfully prove the link between him and the sponsor.

In short, these major or primary reasons are not stated in the refusal letter. Reasons for financial and personal asset are many but are simple to tackle. From the trend, most of the people refused based on personal and financial asset got their PPR on their next application.

Biometric Feb 9, completed March 4 2022
Background check completed March 4 also
Upfront Medical - Feb 8, Completed Feb 15

Reason stated for refusing the application:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
Sorry to hear this, but I want you to praise God for 15 minutes because the reason of your denial is simple to address. It is sure you will get PPR on next application

Please fam, I am currently looking at Pgd since bachelors degree in sociology was a 2:2. I would really appreciate a list of less expensive or cheaper schools that don’t waste time with admission. I am considering Jan 2023 admission. Please looking at the time frame, is this still feasible? Thanks
It's feasible if you start admission process now. Winter intake is open in most of the colleges and universities now.

Some of the schools in Atlantic Canada (NB, NS, NFL, PEI) are cheap. You may want to check them out — NBCC, NSCC, Cape Breton University, Acadia University, Memorial University, U of PEI, Uof NB etc.

But if you want quick admission, I will advise you look well into some of the schools listed above and those not listed so you won't allow them waste your time. Some of them can waste time and you may not still get the admission.

And also will goin for a second masters affect visa chances
Please I would appreciate the gurus to help
In this matter
What universities can she apply to and what other course can she look into??
She is presently working as a senior scientific officer in food safety government company in Abuja

Please help guys cry huh
Going for a second masters doesn't affect chances of visa approval, it all depends on your reasons and how well you package your application.

You can read about the followings:
University of Guelph MSc Applied Nutrition, MSc Applied Human Nutrition, MSc Food Science.
University of Alberta MSc Human Nutrition.

Is it possible for her to apply study visa with fashion business and account qualification? How would she handles the study gap, accounting qualification and fashion and the progression?

Please, help, urgent!

Thanks.
Kindly note that your work experience overrides your academic qualifications; hence, it's easy to address this.

Please i have a question.
Is it a must that Nysc certificate has to be part of the document to be submitted to ircc?
Why I asked this question is I am an awaiting corp member,I should be going for service this month but ASUU keeps messing things up. So my plan is by the time I apply for an admission to Conestoga later this year and I get the admission,I would want to start my visa process Jan (should be ending Nysc Oct 2023).
So by the time I end Nysc,I immediately fly to Canada. So is it a must I have Nysc cert before processing my Visa?
The main reason people attach NYSC cert is to prove employment or work experience during the service year.

It serves as a reference letter which evidences that an applicant was working during that period.

It is not compulsory if your case scenario doesn't need it

Hello House.
Good morning to you all.

Please i really need help with my SOP. Please who can help me?

Secondly i got admission to study Records and Information management in College of the North Atlantic.

Meanwhile i applied with my O level result since my Ond transcript in Mechanical engineering is not ready. I declared in my admission application that i haven't attended a post secondary institution before.
I will like to know if i can add attending a post secondary institution in my visa application in order to reduce the study gap of 6 years (since i finished secondary school).
Please who can help me on how to address this issue.
I know that ND program is 2 years, you said you had your high school certificate 6 years ago. If this is true, it's easy to simplify your 6 year study gap.

Seek for another admission that goes with your purse.

Applications for Winter (Jan) intake are open in many schools. There are schools where you can get admission within 3 days or 1 week if they want to offer you one.

Conestoga College, Fanshawe College among many others.

GCert Leadership program in Uni of Sask is also cheap.

Sorry, ShowYoung. Thompson River University and a semester deposit is 9,000 CAD
If it's true that the $9,000 is not refundable as you have claimed, I will advise you avoid this school totally except you can afford to sacrifice $9000.

Visa denial or delay can make you lose it. You don't have control over it.

Look for another admission in a school that is not as hostile as this.

Schools that don't usually refund tuition deposit don't request more than just $500 as tuition deposit.

Hello house,good afternoon

Please i need help with my POF
I got admission from Cape Breton University to study PGD in Business mgt.
my sponsor(which is my hubby) is having 7million in his account and we need more money in the account, cox I heard we will be needing up to 15million in his account being the sponsor.

Please anyone in the house that can suggest what to do or refer any one that helps with POF wit percentage.
Prior to enrolling in a course, you should check the tuition fee. You probably didn't check.

There are cheaper 1 Year PGD/PGC in Business programs ranging from $12,000 to $18,000 compared to the one you are going for which costs a whopping $27,000 and it's two years.

If you stick to 1 Year PGD/PGC program, perhaps your #7 million would be enough; even if it will be more, it won't be more than 8 million to 8.5million.

Secondly, my sister is the one funding, but someone told me it's not possible because she is also a student. What do you think i should do? Have you gained admission in a college or university in Canada already?

Study Visa application is done after an admission has been offered. All you need do is get your documents ready and proof of funds. Documents like bank account statement, passport, birth certificate, proof of home tie, proof of sponsor etc.

You can refer to part 1 of this thread to read more on applying for visa application.
