CelebritiesRe: Chartered Flight Of Naira Marley Was Approved For High Court Judge - Hadi Sirika by sidonlook: 8:53pm On Jun 15, 2020
So many of you are condemning Naira Marley without asking pertinent questions.
somebody is in charge of that plane.
Somebody registered the booking to take the judge to Abuja.
Is it same person that registered Naira Marley to have that flight on that day?
Are the entries in different books ?
You as a person you are, can you just go to the airport and charter any flight ? Yes , that is if the schedule is not booked.
Did Naira Marley pay for the flight and who collected the money?

I think blaming Naira Marley on this issue is an act of injustice to him.
Please, lets put the blame appropriately.

I am not a fan of Naira Marley but I stand for justice and call a spade a spade.

CareerRe: Should I Resign My Good Bank Job And Start A Business? by sidonlook: 8:22am On Jun 02, 2020
FivePeas:
I think you're being too hasty and would appeal to you not to make a hasty decision that will cause you damage because you sound like someone who's about to react ( from negative reactions ) rather than someone who's about to embark on a well planned action. There's a difference. Trust me I know.

I qualify to give you sound counsel as a business operator and would like to discredit any thoughts of you quitting you job because of your savings.

Let's take it step by step

1. Financial security is important. Can you reduce your monthly expenses and boost your savings so you can save let's say 300k monthly, which in six months gives you an approximate of another 2 Million Naira

2. Start the process of setting up a business while you're still employed. This way you can weigh the options if it's for you or not. And can easily convert your salaries towards the establishment of the business

3. Do not quit your job until you've had a well to Houghton out business plan and have put it into effect. Remember money is just half the equation, the other half the business

4. Be more tolerant rather than being irritated because things aren't working for you from a place of convenience. Start thinking positive thoughts about the positives of your job. I'm sure it can't be all negative. Whatever it's costing you, give yourself the opportunity to reflect and tell yourself giving it six more months for proper planning won't do you harm

5. Get a second accommodation closer to work. So you can shuttle between both ends. Friday home till Sunday. Have you considered this?

6. Get a nanny and if you can afford it, get a driver too and delegate some of the duties with the kids care to them.

7. Give yourself time. Do not jump to the next thing until that so-called " next thing " has been fully constructed while you're still maintaining the one that looks stressful.
While you think and make better plan, I think you should consider number 5 and 6 of the advice above most appropriate.

Just because Bill Gates saw the solution to the Covid-19 crisis, they're demonizing him. This is the difference between ordinary people and great people.
Bill Gates is not a medical scientist. How did he found the solution to a medical crisis. Why will a healthy person be compelled to take a vaccine that has secret undertones .

Anambra state government has commenced the training of COVID-19 task force for parks and major markets in the state, as prerequisite for the opening of the major markets and parks in the State on Monday, 4th May, 2020.

The task force is made up of members of all the sixty three major markets in Anambra state.

Addressing members of the task force during the training, the secretary to Anambra state government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu said that the task force team will ensure that all markets are orderly and also keep to WHO and NCDC Coronavirus preventive guidelines.

Anambra state Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mr. Uchenna Okafor warned that any market that failed to obey and follow the preventive guidelines will be shut down immediately, as government is highly determined to ensure that the state does not record any case of COVID-19 again.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Vincent Okplala trained the participants on basic medical hygiene, what they need to know about Coronavirus, mode of transmission and the best way to prevent it.

An official of Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) was present during the training.
Nice approach but I pray it yield the expected result.

I support the government on this. These Shylock Lagos private school owners will stop at nothing to exploit.
Let parents at least use this lockdown period to bond with their kids. Let the kids learn other things like crafts, domestic chores, etc. Let them be revising what they've been taught before, or let them just play.
We run a unified academic calendar at primary and secondary level. So, if they conclude their term online, so what happens to their counterparts in government schools?
You are very right..... what happens to their counterpart in public schools?

What about the children of the poor who do not have access to android phone and internet in towns and villages?

If those children in the villageare are left behind, we will be creating another group of bandits in few years.
Let us support equality of all citizens in Nigeria.
Government needs to take action and if possible prosecute the private schools going against this instruction.

However, we have alot to learn from all these.
1. Life is vanity.
2. We are humans and as such , government should be humane and our leader should display equal rights with the people they govern.
3. I think he opted for the private approach because of no confidence in our public health care.
4. If for no confidence, who created the environment that lead to no confidence..
5. In the UK, Boris Johnson was taken to a public health centre. He saw himself equal to every other UK citizen..
6. Boris Johnson is come out well and strong but our own Abba Kyari is gone due to lack of confidence in our health system caused by the government, pride, carelessness, secrecy , double standard in governance.

If it were a common man that was involved in the mess, the hospital would ne shutdown by now for unprofessional conduct..

If the hospital knew that ABBA Kyari was COVID 19positive, why did the hospital admit him?

I think the hospital management should be charged with manslaughter to teach others a lesson.

Our politicians should invest the looted monies in Nigeria rather than moving the monies to other countries.

I see COVID 19 as a blessing to Nigerians in disguise.
It will make our government give enough allocation to the health sector.

If I were GOD , I will make coronavirus ravage the corrupt and wicked politicians, to teach them the vanity of life, that they may stop looting and they may contribute to good governance.

When a very top government official dies and majority of the masses say "it serves them right" it calls for sober reflection on the part of the government.

How sincere are the tributes?

and you think someone with 500M needs government assistance on health? you think he would send his bill to the president or ministry of finance? Oga that guy don pass that level
Money or ability to pay his medical bill is not the issue. ABBA Kyari is a Nigerian and all Nigerians are united in the fight against covid 19.

This was the mentality of having enough money to cater for themselves that made them to abandon almost all the infrastructure in the health sector.

They travel abroad whenever they have head ache or fever.

Now that he could not travel abroad why did he not use the facility that are on ground.

It is necessary for you and I to know how he is doing right now.

One thing we should know is that good people dont hide.
If our politicians are good people, we will stand by them and pray good prayer for them.
So, the money and cost of treatment is not the issue.

If all the big and wealth Nigerians go to private clinics, how does NCDC monitor and get its statistics.

If not for the global shutdown, ABBA Kyari would have travelled abroad for his treatment, while the poor manage whatever the government could provide.
PoliticsCovid 19 - UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Vs Abba Kyari by sidonlook(op): 3:41am On Apr 13, 2020
We thank GOD for the recovery of the UK prime minister, Boris Johnson from coronavirus after being hospitalized for some days

The transparency in governance could be seen in how developed and civilise countries runs their affairs.

The UK prime minister has been discharged from the hospital where he was treated of coronavirus .

He did not go to his private clinic or home in order to save money for the UK government as against one of our own.

On the other hand, our own ABBA Kyari who was also diagnosed of the virus, very little is known about his case, peculiar secrecy of our government. This make makes alot of doubt over our government statistics on the fight against COVID 19.

Where is Abba Kyari ?
HealthRe: COVID-19 Testing In South Africa & Other African Countries by sidonlook: 3:02am On Apr 13, 2020
Amya:
Nigeria on the other hand only has Lagos and Abuja as the gate of Nigeria. After the Italian man tested positive, flights from countries with over a hundred people infected were stopped from coming into the country. The virus still sneaked into the country and when the lockdown started, people who had come into contact with infected persons were about 5 thousand people. It definitely have increased now but it won't be so much because of the lockdown.
Let us agree that contact with the infected person were about 5 thousand.

With our testing capacity of 350 test per day, if the government is really going after the contacts and getting them, the situation will be controlled.

My only fear is the mistake the government made for not locking down the entire country for 2 weeks. Concentrating on Lagos, Ogun and FCT alone was myopic.

By the time the lockdown is lifted in these states, escapees and cross border infections would have matured to get noticed in other states.

I wonder what the government will do to avoid infestation crossing back to Lagos, Ogun and the FCT.

Will the government keep these states under perpetual lockdown ?
