Our sources in the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) have reported that some armed gunmen suspected to be bandits invaded the school's staff quarters in the early hours of his morning and have made away with four staffs of the institution.

It was revealed that the staffs were kidnapped alongside their children which at the time of making this report couldn't be accounted for in numbers.

The attack has also been confirmed by the University’s Head, Information and University Relations, Dr Habib Yakoob.

The message read :

“Suspected bandits attacked the staff quarters of the University in the early hours of today.

“Our Safety officers, in conjunction with security personnel, mobilised to secure the quarters.

“We have report that four of our staff and their children were, nevertheless, abducted by the evil men.

“Efforts are being made to ensure their safe return. A sad day for us, indeed!”

Female Dormitory Students of Buruburu Girls High School in Nairobi, Kenya are seen in a video jumping from as high as the 2nd floor as a huge fire engulfed a building in the school, Siggy reports.

A section of the students trapped in the multi-story building was spotted trying to escape the inferno through windows and jumping all the way to the ground.

According to reports, several students have already been rushed to the hospital after the Sunday, October 31, fire incident whose cause is yet to be determined.

At the same time, panicked parents and guardians rushed to the institution to check on their children some of whom were rushed to the neighbouring Metropolitan Hospital.

According to the disturbing videos shared on social media, the hapless girls were spotted escaping through the windows as the dark smoke billowed the building and the air.

Hundreds of Student of the Federal University Lokoja have come out to commiserate the death of their schoolmates, Mary Matthias and MaryJane Iniobong who died on thurday, just few hours apart, Siggy reveals.

Mary Mathias, a 400 level Geography student, died at FMC Lokoja of an undisclosed ailment early on Thursday, October 28.

Hours later, MaryJane Imaobong, a 300 level Geography student who had put up a post to mourn Mary Mathias, was involved in a fatal accident.

The recent deaths of the Marys' have summed up the total FUL students' death to 8 in just a space of 29 days.

With heavy hearts, the students all came out in unison to pray for the lost souls and also pray for Federal University Lokoja over the mysterious deaths rocking the institution.

Kaitlin Akwada, a just graduated student from Godfrey Okoye University with a CGPA of 5.0 has been installed as the vice chancellor of the said institution for 24hrs, Siggy reports.

She explained that her result is proof that "the power to attract what you desire lies in your hands".
