I will be very honest with you here
That GPA of 0.2 is too poor for a start. No excuse is acceptable at all, if it was at least 2.5, would have even been fair.

You are not even thinking of how to get out of the fire and be stable, you are talking of first class. It shows how shallow your thoughts are.....My advice for you is to put off all weights, distractions (relationship, social media, bad friends etc) that has affected your performance and focus on getting out of the fire you are in. After that you can then think of making good result (second class upper is feasible here) if you give your all to d five year course.

However do well to know u are already in fire and be ready to put in all your best to pull out of this fire first.

Failure to do this means YOU WILL BE SLAYED OUT OF SCHOOL, and Engineering is tough (am an engineer) so you must put in all the best you can to it.

If at the end of this present semester your result is still poor, kindly seek transfer into another department where you can cope.

Let me give you an advice.
please go for it, study hard and prepare for the test.
Even though it is internship, you will have the platform to gain experience in the upstream oil and gas sector and that will boost your CV, you will be fine, though the payment is not like entry level but you can later be converted if performance is deemed satisfactory and you can leverage on the experience gained in later years to get a well paying job in another multinational. Give it a TRY, You are well able to get it.

What do you think will happen to the salary of those earning above the new minimum wage presently

Scenerio assuming minimum wage passed is 66000.
for instance lets say a ssce school leaver that works as office assistant earns 20-30k in your organization, and you earn 70k or more as lets say a graduate trainee or any other position with your B.sc or HND in same organization. so does this mean after the new minimum wage implementation, the office assistant earns 66k, and you still earn 70k or same old salary or will employers reveiw all salaries to reflect new minimum wage....

I need your views on this my people...am just thinking

What will happen is a salary restructuring....
Meaning pay will increase across all board.
It will benefit all parties, so if the minimum wage is 66k, the graduate pay will also shoot up from the initial one.
But the down side is that it will lead to inflation.

That position is mostly for support staff, I mean Contract job so bank prefers to hire those grade to cut cost and get the job done
For Entry Level position, they go for Bsc graduates.

The only way you can get to the BRT park on time is if you stay close to Ikorodu garage and the house rent is same as the ones i mentioned in places above. If you are looking for a cheap accommodation in Ikorodu,you will have to go into the inner villages and at the end of the day the stress of getting to work and coming back won't be worth it. It can kill you or make you quit your job.

Please do you have idea how much a room cost in Ojota or Ketu? I mean relatively okay ones with fair prices that are close to the road.
