FunnyDude: Most of you think you work harder than those those of us with a 2:2 or 3:3 while in school. You think you were smarter than us. But I think you are not smart enough to know that tertiary institutions is a place where competitions are set for different species of animals with their own peculiar limitations. You wouldn't know what some of us go through to even get to be in the same class with you. Yes, majority of those with lower grades definitely know about all these things you mentioned. But what are we to do when so many things arm twisted us to settling with what we have. Anyway, I have always said it that no fc can intimidate me simply because of his better grade. This is because I know the content of this 2:2 holder and I know for sure that having similar or even close the surrounding conditions of a fellow who had fc in my school days, I will replicate same or even do better. Please stop the stereotypical believe that 2:2 or 3:3 holders were lazy while in school or were less smarter than those who got better grades. By the way, 80% of the questions in our tertiary schools' exams are past questions. That a person who did a thorough check of the past questions and got a better grade does not translate to having a better understanding of the subject matter than the rest of the students. In most Nigeria universities, one can easily cram his/her way to first class with the right environment. So, there Is no big deal in getting a first class my brother. Copied. There is no big deal in getting First Class and you can't even make 2.1, I laugh at you, stop pouring your frustrations online. Why the bitter feeling towards the First Class and 2.1 holders?? Why downplaying their hard and smart work and efforts in striving to be the best in school?? This mindset won't help you, to grow or go up you only need to focus on yourself, you won't get to the top by bringing others down. Nobody is intimidating you except you. Please just stop this argument, some people work hard to earn and merit their 2.2, you are even making 2.2 look like a fail result from school. Stop promoting mediocrity, Look at the bright side and work your way to the top, quit this enmity with other degree holders, it won't help you. I wish you the best in life. |

FunnyDude: Sir, Nobody is trying to downplay first class here and neither I'm I frustrated too. But check around you today, how many first class made it outside their certificate. Where are those brilliant bookworm in your set in school today? Probably nowhere to be found because they have been bought off with salary. My lesson is that drop your certificate ego and hussle hard. It is psychological First class certificate mostly is the reason why most first graduate are lazy to create a value on their own. Rather they keep waiting for someone to get them hired based on their A4 paper in their file called certificate. They have lazy mentality, that's why I'm thanking God for not giving me while in school. You didn't know me in person that's why, sir. I'm delighted to inform you that I'm a bookworm while in school. But is a long story. Your kind amazes me. First Class graduates have lazy mentality. You are also thanking God for giving you 2.2..... I can now see clearly the reason why you graduated with 2.2. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Thread closed by simplebb: 3:59pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
This is serious. God didn't give you a 2.2 sir, your performance did. All what u posted there is full of envy towards the First Class and 2.1, you had more than three years in school and couldn't prove yourself, Now u came online to spill trash and encourage yourself in mediocrity.
BTW, I wonder why the 2.2 and third class graduates are now openly attacking the First Class and 2.1 nowadays. These guys didn't stop you from making good result neither are they the cause of you graduating with 2.2. Shun mediocrity and vain babblings, whatever your hand findeth to do, do it diligently.
My advice to you is this, stop hating the First Class and 2.1 grads (quit this mindset), hustle more, become an entrepreneur and now that you are done with first degree, try to go for professional courses to boost your skill and acumen. I wish you success in your future endeavours. |

Get as much information as you can about the tests beforehand. Listen carefully; pace yourself; work quickly and accurately. Be yourself – don’t act a part. If you’ve had to change your behaviour or personality radically to fit in then it could be a sign that this employer is not for you. Hello pal, do you mean another test again in the AC?? I hope the AC is the last stage of all these test and test. Also any idea on how much they pay Management Trainee. It is good to know what someone is going into. |

Deuces22: If I want to kill myself, I'll jump from your level of intelligence to the level of ur ignorance. Now, let me school u.
u can use the collective noun 'staff' with a singular verb wen action is not implied or u simply intend to state a fact abt d group. Here, u see the workers as a single unit (not as a single person). That is why u can av 'The staff is very dedicated' (staff here is referring to d group of workers and not a single worker). However, wen action is implied, u must use a plural verb. u say, 'the staff are working' because 'working' there implies an action.
Many peeps don't know dat one ought to say 'Chelsea are playing tomorrow' and 'The police are working' and not '*Chelsea is playing tomorrow' or '*the police is working'. U can however av 'Chelsea is 50 today' because no action was implied. You are correct brother. A single person cannot be referred to as staff.

The questions are way too difficult for the timing. The verbal is okay but long comprehension passages, The Numerical oh my gawd there should be provision for calculators considering that time frame, my brain seized and I suddenly lost interest, couldn't even finish it. The Abstract, that was a chun chin Chan, abstract that is bonus to me became an hurdle, the patterns were irregular, those questions were from Hell, The devil prepared it. Everyone In my centre just went home quietly, peacefully and calmly, no noise during and after the exams, it was like all those hard courses in school where u just go home and sleep after exam and don't talk to anyone. I commit all unto God. Dragnet is DragHell.... Next time I see Dragnet. I will drag my net very well... |
