Nesso: 600k shud be the minimum for a graduate with Bsc. Lol, u speak as if Nigeria is a sane country. To even get job of 50k is hard. To me the acceptable Minimum should be 150k for a start, However salaries varies across boards due to the level of organization (how small or big it is) and what they are into. |

ElDaIllest: Life is futile bro, have you asked yourself why we are here? Maybe by accident, I don't know.I've compared notes with different phylosophies in Religion and other ideologies...non seems to make sense to me.I understand that you opine with the "sanctity of life" and other things.Life is a game and sometimes quiting when your checkmated makes more sense. Before I was born, there was nothingness and so shall I return to nothingness after death. I love your gentle opinion and submission, but taking one's life is irrational, when you can't create one. We are not here on earth by accident. we are born to live a purpose sometimes circumstances have an effect on our bearing but we must not let that to define us, we must be focused. Throwing in the towel is a character of the weak, quitting is not for those who wants to win, True everyone will die as it is inevitable but to commit suicide is uncalled for. About philosophies and ideologies, they are men's opinions and you can't get the true meaning of life from it. |

ElDaIllest: Joining you soon bro, life is overrated. I don't know if you are serious or not, but please never think of suicide, it is not an option, Life is full of good and bad, they are placed side by side. Don't faint in days of adversity. You best days are Here. To the Young Man who took his own life. RIP, It is just painful, No matter what we pass through, suicide is not the way out. There is always Hope, As long as there is life. Let's feed our mind with positive things, things that are edifying. |

C6 in English is sufficient. However when your score is tied, O level may b used in comparison for shortlisting Waoh, thanks a lot bro. Wish u the very best in your pursuits. |

Good evening everyone, First of all, I want to congratulate the shortlisted overseas scholarship candidates, thank God for your life and the efforts in not quitting, life is a race and one mustn't quit at all. I wish u success in your studies over there. Knowing fully well, the 2018/2019 ptdf scholarship will be out by the year end. I have some few questions To ask as I plan to register for the overseas study. 1. Is it compulsory to get an international passport card before registering for the overseas scholarship? 2. In the advent where due to financial challenges, I can't write the TOEFL, GRE or IELTS exam before registration. will that hinder my chances or it means I will get a chance in schools who doesnt demand for it. 3. What are the secrets for a successful application? 4. Hope a pass in one of my O level subjects I mean In my waec result won't have effect on my application though I have the needed grade for English Language. Thanks and God bless. |

U better wake up and stop the lies. #Shun ponzi scheme #Don't waste ur hard earned money #No money is spare |

sgtponzihater1: Greeting to all those who have been sending words of encouragement despite the rude, harsh and unrealistic attack I've been getting from die-hard, addicted and mostly hypnotized Ponzi scheme participants.
A so called new model is up. It says all members must recommit fresh funds to be able to GH. The noise makers were those who only had 2017 mavros and have never felt the pain of having considerable amount of money trapped in a monkey business, with no iota of control over it. Others where guiders who felt either way they keep benefiting from commissions. Sadly today 1 or 2 guiders have seen the light of day and are pulling out from the scam business called MMM, one even put up his account for sale, for the integrity of a man is more important than silver or gold.
MMM promised that they had learnt from 2016 mistakes and will never go down again, it is now clear that it was one of their many techniques to swindle the unsuspecting, naive and the unschooled in the uncertain world of investments. My worry however is must MMM tell us to our face that we are mentally bankrupt before we fight back?, must we allow these rogues have a field day deceiving us and our brothers? It's time to stand firm and resist this evil. "Our Mumu don Do".
Finally the overall aim will be to recruit new unsuspecting members and allow disgruntled member ignore their accounts, thus perpetuating a vicious cycle or what the medics call a positive feed back effect, where thousands of Nigerians are defrauded in continious cycle. 2016 participants felt it, 2017A participant are now seeing it and if we don't fight back there will be 2017B participants.
Shun Ponzi Schemes
Sgt Ponzi Hater My God will bless you. This people are evil, people invested large sums in 2016, they swindled it and leave them pained, as if it is not enough they came back and told them to invest large sums to get the money back, that one is trapped again now, that's the second blow, now those useless administrators and guiders are starting again with 100%. What happen to the 2016 mavro and 2017 batch A. They claim they want to help people only to leave them homeless. A friend of mine first lost 250k, in his attempt to recover it, he lost another 300k.....our Mumu Don do, shun ponzi scheme, let MMM pack their load, if people invest after reading this page, it means their foolishness cant be cured again. Now they want to swindle 2017 batch B and run away then start 2018 batch A. MMM is Mogbe, Moku, Modaran. To avoid that, run, invest your money into profitable things. Move on from ur loss, trying to recover it is losing more again. A voice is enough for the wise. Shun ponzi It is a waster of hard earned money |

excel127: Bro /Sis I actually think that Agricultural engineers are at an advantage since they can be self employed or build careers on their course of study compared to the likes of microbiologist, biochemistry, etc which not only are their job opportunities in this country very few but they can't still be self employed on their chosen courses or build careers on them.
I actually don't see a reason why u won't advice someone (even with a low score) to pick this course because you think their demand in the labor market is very limited.
. I believe that there are graduates who studied most of the courses u pointed out as better ones who are still jobless today (i know of a jobless chemical engineer for abt 3 years now)
U made a good point too brother. I will definitely recommend someone with a low mark but the person must be aware of its rigours and the place of self employability. One more thing, what makes self employability hard is the needed finances, If one can get that, with determination, diligence, dedication, one will surely make it. Some of these courses are meaningful infact every course but the Nigeria factor has put some courses as lucrative and the other as inferior. I know someone who had to write Jamb and leave microbiology in part 3 to medicine due to few Job opportunities in the field. |

excel127: Nice one i like that...But i still don't know why AGE graduates don't work in their field or why getting a job with the degree seem so difficult
its agriculture we're talking about here. Good question, there are few firms that are into agricultural production, It is all about Oil and gas, construction, chemical, electrical and mechanical works and also the society has not helped matters, we are all looking for white collar jobs that we can be proud to show off so our young agricultural engr graduates had to dump agric since people view it that it is for uneducated people. Sincerely have seen load of job adverts from lot of jobsites and have never seen anyone mentioned Agricultural engineering. Their course is a course that is targeted at self-employability, a friend of mine had to go back to the village to start farming after service due to lack of job offers in the field. Am I discouraging people from studying the course??No, but it is mostly a self employability course thus one must be aware of what is ahead. Don't just settle for anyhow course, know what u want to build a career on and also the industries u can likely work after graduation. This is no longer the era of let me just go to school and get a degree, the labour market is competitive and people are looking for specialist in the needed field. |

Thommhy89: Seriously ? Don't be deceived by the "agricultural"... u only have to do like 3 or 4 courses in d faculty of agricultural sciences... Bro, Even the AGE courses start fully wen u get to like 400L... U ll do more of MEE, EEE, CSE, anf CVE... imagine d combo.. I rep AGE LAUTECH... and the dept has never produced a first class student in d history of d dept.... I get ur point but it is not a course that u need high mark to get into, I know a lot of people who were given the course because of low marks infact a friend of mine had to change department later on. Doing CVE or MEE doesn't make u a civil or mechanical engr. Job opportunities in the course is also far and near, I won't recommend it for anyone. The best engineering courses with great job opportunities in the labour market are Mechanical, chemical, Electrical, Civil, Petroleum and Metallurgical. U mentioned a department not producing First Class in its history, u need to question the lecturers and the students, go to other schools and see how AGE produces First Class year to year. That a dept produces First Class or not doesn't make the course hard bro. |
Education › Re: Which Is The Easiest Engineering Degree /course To Study by simplebb: 8:38am On Aug 13, 2017 |
The easiest of them all is Agricultural but the job chances in this field are far and few. Civil, Elect, Mechanical are hard but they have lot of good prospects. Chemical is hard too and find application in different industries, Petroleum is same but u can only work in oil and gas industries. If u have a low mark, go for Agricultural, Materials or Mining. |
