I love Deeper Life and believe the Church stands for and teaches the sound doctrines of Jesus.

However, I think they didn’t go far enough. I understand that they seem restrained as a result of the ongoing Police investigations, but that shouldn’t be the church’s standard.

They should have, through their own higher standard, publicize the results of their internal investigation and punish the culprits by dismissal or something and then hand them over to the Police for their own investigations and criminal prosecution where necessary.

The Police or Army or any other organizations out there don’t wait until the police finish their investigations before carrying their own internal investigations and melt out punishments eg demotion, dismissal, etc...after Lee hi he they hand them over to the Police for their criminal investigation and prosecution.

The principal has been suspended and investigation is ongoing on their part as you can see in the update, if the internal investigation is not well conducted some innocent people may suffer as well. So no need to be in a haste, rather let it be a thorough exercise that'll yield a permanent result.

I spent all my secondary school life in the boarding house, what some of this Senior student can be up to is sometimes alarming, you have to be there to know that even if the school mgt are against such act, its usually not an easy thing to report the culprit to the school authority or even their parent at a go. Had similar issue not long ago though it was a failed transaction, they however debited me and refuse to reverse it. He grew taller though from the pix and may be fairer in complexion. He knows better now and thats the beauty of boarding school. Its a platform for genuine orientation of young minds into a serious future business. A serious boarding school student easily succeed where others shiver faulter and fail. So its a plus experience that can't be forgiven in a hurry, just ensure occasional visit with provision and some goodies for the senior prefect and the house leader, squarely make the house leader his caregiver and see him shielded from unnecessary errands and punishment.

Instead of this seemingly wasteful yearly ritual why not put them through a solid skill acquisition programme of their choice for 6 months, and thereafter pay them 396k their exact amount of allawee for a year. With this they'll judiciously start up and be useful to themselves without bothering themselves looking for a job that may never be found. But will the people feeding fat on this program allow it to be canceled or modified? No, I suppose is the answer, even at the expense of this young and precious souls!
