You guys should relax! The Nigerian community in morocco organized the phone call. The government had to cough out $2,000 for each minute of phone call paid to the Nigerian community over there. It was a 19minutes phone call. The problem is that GEJ couldn't differentiate the king's voice from the Nigerian street hustler at the other end of the phone. An innocent mistake if you'd ask me. |
^^ Thanks; seem to be the latest editions as such a bit on the highside for me. Is there something between N450 - N550? |
goshap:Prov 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding Just freestyled on that, i know there are more if/when i dig deeper. |
kakakibuy:I dont have any at mind. Find something cost-effective as that will be a big factor. |
Peugeot 306 wagon or 307 |
goshap:You asked so many questions within last night and now: a good sign, indicating you really want to know/learn. I'll grant just one out of your many questions: so chose the one you want me to answer. I'm waiting. |
goshap:The false assumptions of a religious fellow: 1. That atheist/agnostics are sad people that lack love, hence their resentment to religion. 2. That we desire the freedom to sin and that's why we deny God/religion. Myopic fellas! @1: I've never been happier all my life than now. I hold myself accountable for my actions, work hard towards success and not depend on an extra-ordinary grace. @2: It has been proven over and over again on this board that morality as inborn and has nothing to do with christianity. I still keep an open mind, the beauty of agnosticism. |
gbemmy0209:whatever made you think i didnt know that was why u were asking. why do you want to connect the face and name? we can relate different offline and remain anonymous here. hope you understand. |

blueyedgeek:You're being sarcastic, aren't you? B'cos what you've got up there is as useless as the 'p' is psychology. |
adegbitetunji:Can't really remember the group name, ours was upstairs. @bonafidelegacy, yes, there were EN invited for medials too. I guess there will be a waiting list in case any shortlisted candidate doesn't make it through medicals or finally rejects the offer when it comes. |
Phema:Actually, you don't need a visa to come to Nigeria if you have a british passport. With British passport, you don't need visa for over 68 countries, especially those common wealth members. You just walk into an airport with your passport and buy a flight ticket to where you're going to. Ever wonder why Mikel had to wait for his British passport? Its a big deal, believe me! |
rajibrahim:No big deal, unless you're scared of stripping na'ked in front of a medical personnel...lol... There's nothing to prepare for, we started a bit late: filled some medical forms, did series of tests: BP, weight, height, eye test, physical test (where u strip naked)...all these was at Marina. Then proceed to ikeja for x-ray, blood sample, urine sample and stool sample (yes, had to force myself to sh'it). From UAC Marina, cross over and take Lag bus going to ojota. Stop at ojota and take #50 keke to mds, treck to the UAC hospital behind Mds. There were 20 of us from different specialties; I guess there will be around the same number for wednesday. No news about offer letter or when to resume. No news about which of the subsidiaries one is posted to. Hopefully, all of those will be contained in the offer letter when it comes. That's all. I hope I was helpful. |
PastorKun:Does that even make sense to you? The reason Jesus came and died was to bring you close to God, isn't that so? To bring you close to the same God that masterminded the killing of nations that he created but that went astray, isn't it? The same God that is same yesterday, today and forever, isn't it? Is this same Jesus not the same God like you preached? Now you're trying to separete Jesus ministry from God's ministry; that's an epic fail! Try again. |
Ifeann:Christians were also commanded to kill pagans and atheists: didn't God command the israelites to slay the amelikites, cannanites and their likes? Wasn't it based on that that the early christians carried out their holy wars called 'crusades'? Do you know how many muslims, atheists, hindus and other religious people were murdered and their religious places burnt in the early 10th century? You really have to remove the log of iroko tree in your eyes before seeking to remove the toothpick in someone else's eyes. Just saying. Dear op, kindly ignore the religious war going on in your thread. You've been freed from one religion, don't dare entangle yourself with another religion. When you pick up the bible, start from the old testament and you'll realize that whatever Mohammed did was a child's play compared to what the israelites did based on the commandement of God. Thanks. |
gbemmy0209:Whats your specialty? |
Zerop:I got a call today from UAC to come for medicals on monday morning with 3 passport at UAC, Marina. Graduate specialist (QC). Are they still failed promisers? |
LuckyAgbaze:Does it look like i entertain sarcastic questions? or do i sound like your 14 yrs old nephew? |
melbluesea:yea, graduate specialist (QC). Just got the call to come for medicals on monday morning. Asked to bring 3 passport photographs while coming. |
LuckyAgbaze:I thought its the same omnipresent God: the same yesterday, today and forever ![]() Or am I missing something? |
stardragon:I've quoted Deut 22 where God himself gave commandments for people to drink alcohol and you're quoting proverbs from king David! How dare you interpolate david's speech with God's commandment ![]() How dare you!!!!! Don't you fear God again ![]() ![]() ![]() |
stardragon:Did you read what I posted at all or you're having comprehension problem? The verse I quoted encouraged us to drink both wine (alcohol, palmwine, beer etc) and also to drink strong drinks (vodka, champaign, spirit, whisky etc); whatever we desire, we should use our money to buy, eat and drink! Alcohol is not a sin, its is supported in the bible like I quoted. You can study all parts of Deutronomy 22 if you feel I misquoted it; its very clear. |
In the sixth day, man made God in his own image. |
stardragon:Unfortunately, you didn't write the bible: and yes, it supports alcohol consumption; although it condemns being drunk, which is a state of having excessive alcohol in the system. Deuteronomy 14:26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household, Check the words in bold: strong drink refers to the stronger alcohols like spirits, vodka, shekpe, kai-kai etc. Its right there in your bible, but you chose to believe what your self-righteous pastor tells you. Your bible said 'study to show thyself approved'm How long will I be educating you christians? |
LuckyAgbaze:Jesus drank alcohol to the point that people started calling him a drunk: Luke 7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a drunk, a friend of publicans and sinners! Mind you, its only when someone takes alcohol that he is called a drunk; so, yes, Jesus took alcohol for people to call him a drunk and a winebibber. Jesus also turned water to alcohol! Yes, the wine was alcohol. This is what the mc of the occasion had to say thereafter: John 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. Check out the words in bold: its only alcohol that makes one drunk. This shows that the wine Jesus turned water into was alcohol. Do you need more verses from the bible? |
samtol4:Says who ![]() |
jedidiah2801:Peter wrote that too After writing 1Pet 4:7 dude came back in 2 Pet to console himself. Read the words of Jesus himself and his promises about his second coming: you're gonna wait for ages like the previous generation waited. And mind you, if the rationale behind the non-coming is the patience to ensure all men are saved, then that's the dumbest reason I've heard. The more the delay, the more people are getting enlightened and dropping religion like hot-coal. So be patient and longsuffering, your master dey return with trumpet and horses and swords like a thief in the night Make him no come when OPC and Bakassi dey on duty shaa, make dem no tidy am like the jews did before. |
One of the failed promises in the bible. See the verses below: Matthew 16.28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Evidently, everyone in that congregation Jesus was referring to had died long-long ago. Matthew 24.33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 24.34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. There again! Another failed promise! All generations present in the time of Jesus has all died. I know some folks will come here to rationalize these failed promises so let me bring out more verses from their bible: Even the early appostles believed they will be alive and witness the rapture, just as you believe right now. 1 John 2.18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. Lol^^, that scripture was written 2,000yrs ago about anti-christ already being in existence and that it was already the end of time. Sounds familiar? Yes! Same thing we're hearing now! 1 Peter 4.7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. ^^Thats bro Peter. Who else is remaining? Opps, Paul! His own was even more embarrassing. 1 Thessalonians 4.16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 4.17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. ^^Looolll!!!! Paul was so sure that he was gonna be alive to witness the rapture! Allelujah somborriii!!! Now let me sit back and watch them try to rationalize this. |
Bla bla bla! Ayoku777 has valid biblical evidence to support his views, an2elect2 has valid biblical evidences supporting hers too. All points to one thing: the writers of the bible erred in as many things as possible; including the omni-omni everything attributes they ascribe to God! You guys should hold another council of Nice to review the bible. Technology, education and science has exposed a lot of frauds there-in. |
