Paul University is also way better than UNIZIK in terms of quality.; talk of cheating in exams, sorting, female students harrasment, etc. People should not be deceiving themselves with the idea of "known universities" or "unknown universities"; employers do not assess graduates based on how well-known or not their alma mater is, they rather interview the graduates and give them aptitude test. Universities (foreign and local) also do not admit candidates into their postgraduate schools based on where they graduated from, but from various assessments. The first set of Paul University graduates finished NYSC in 2015; already several of them are doing their Masters programmes in a number of federal universities. I know a Tansian University graduate who performed excellently in GRE and TOEFEL, and is now completing her masters programme in the USA. I also know UNIZIK graduates that couldn't gain admission in USA university due to GRE and TOEFEL.

This is the worst lie I have ever heard in nairaland! No UNIZIK/UNN or any Federal Univ student pays more than 50k per year even with departmental levy, faculty dues, SUG (Which is included in the school fees) etc. ST Paul pays 300k! How is that cheaper? Stop deluding yourself; if you are in a private UNI, move along with your life, nobody say make you no pass JAMB.

We will only comment based on our own opinion, you are the one that wears the shoes and will wear the shoe for the rest of your life. Discuss with him and express your fears. Me personally, I won't tolerate a fanatic-christian as a wife; someone who will spend more hours on prayers than on sex, do fasting and starve me on the process, spend more nights for vigils than a career nurse does at work, invite strangers to come and do special prayers and deliverance in my house everyother week, impose strict religious rules on my children... Trust me, your fiance may have some of these fears too so its not just you that have fears.

Your bible says 'two cannot work together unless they agree...' so talk with him and see if the fears will be alleviated.

We agnostics don't believe there's enough prove for the existence and/or non-existence of gods or any other supreme being, so we don't take the concept of god or religion serious. While an atheist may ask you questions like "where is this god you talk about? Any evidence of him?", we agnostics will rather ask; "How sure are you that your own version of god is the real one and not the other gods you call fake gods".

We are mostly humanist that believe more on humanity guided by morality and not christian nor islam virtues. Most times, we graduate from humanist-agnostic to atheistic-agnostic and finally to become full-fledged atheists.

This has not been resolved. I have mailed nairabet support, contacted interswitch yet no nothing. Worse is even the nairabet support as there is no response to all my mails, no phone number to contact them and even this complaint is not attended to here on this thread.

Do you know the latest method of scamming? Firstly, start a thread filled with some sob story. Don't mention donating, just keep piling on the sob story and getting people to comment. Then eventually, on another thread, declare life has gone to the dogs. People will rush and help you, remembering your first "genuine" thread.

Proof: remember that guy this year whose aunt did not want to help with his schoolfees and he came to complain bitterly and everyone rushed in to tell him not to be ungrateful and he eventually admitted he was right? Then the plea for financial support came and lo and behold, someone caught him that it was a scam.

Scammers are smart. They know directly asking for money is now obsolete. And I'm seeing more threads like that, a lot (1st thread, anguish-filled tearjerker, much later, pleas for help). And in all things, God must be mentioned. They know their audience.

It's just not about age, their are 20yr olds that are awaiting their Nysc. If your sis has gone thru tertiary institution, then she is mentally ready to get married. But I am afraid she is not ready yet, not because of age but because of lack of exposure, experience on how to deal with things, how to manage school stress with religion and social life, deal with lack of funds.

Of course there are loads of them we met while at school, engaged to a man and still fvcking us with all their heart. Your sis thinks she's in love with him because he's the only reasonable guy paying attention to her for now...lol.
