I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's not your duty as a man to be financially responsible for any girl's upkeep. Nigerian men created this stupid feeling of entitlement and virus that's quite common amongst 90% of Nigerian females. The only woman I give monthly stipends and money in general is my mom and none other. I don't work under the biting winters or hot summers each day to be feeding one broke ass, lazy, hopeless, useless, greedy, senseless and unproductive female when she's not handicapped or an orphan.

What about your younger sister? You should also give her a monthly stipend till she gets a job.
Family / Safety Tips For The Yuletide Season by Simplybami(f): 10:52pm On Dec 22, 2018
Hello lovelies,

How are you all doing? We are already in the Yuletide period. Amazing right? I'm sure you're already thinking of the wonderful things to try out? Trust me guys, I'm also looking forward to the Christmas day. But,there is one thing I want us all to put into consideration; which is "Preparation". How prepared are we for the season? Now, when talking about preparation; it cut across all ramifications.

This is the "Ember" month, and we all know there's this reservation attached to the festive season in Nigeria.

During the Yuletide period, the crime rate is always intense. "The Children Of The Night" who have refused to work when their mates were hustling for the whole of the year, are always in position to reap from where they did not sow. So how exactly can we prevent this menace from happening to us? As we all know, the thieves are only good at stealing, killing and destroying. May we never fall victim to them. It's just few days away from Christmas day, and some people are hell bent on making money they couldn't make for the past eleven months.

The pressure to make money during this period always lead to desperation. You have to try as much as possible to never put yourself in a vulnerable position which will make you susceptible to fall prey into the hands of criminals.

HERE ARE SOME SECURITY TIPS TO FOLLOW TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY DURING THIS YULETIDE SEASON:

1. ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOUR APARTMENT DOORS AND WINDOWS SECURED

This is not rocket science. No matter how tired you are after a hard day's job, please endeavour to lock all your doors and windows. A robbery incident that could have led to so many loss of properties was prevented on Monday because the kitchen door was locked. The robbers got into the house through the kitchen windows quite all right, but they couldn't proceed into the living room or other rooms because the kitchen door was locked. That same night, they carted away some valuables from the neighbour in the next compound. Now, you can imagine what could have happened if we were all too tired to have locked the door that night. Please, for this period; do not take any chances at all.

2. CHECK YOUR SURROUNDINGS PROPERLY AND KEEP THEM WELL LIT BEFORE RETIRING FOR THE NIGHT

This is very essential. Once you get back from work or any other place, always try to check your surroundings carefully before stepping into the house. If there are bushes around you, endeavour to get rid of them to prevent "Unwanted visitors" from hiding in them to strike at night. Also, make sure your environment is well lit most especially at night. Remember, you can never be too careful enough.

3. ALWAYS BE AT ALERT

Where ever you are, either at the ATM centre, parking lot ,shopping mall, your apartment etc. Always be on guard. If you notice any suspicious movement behind or around you, always alert people who are around you. Speak up immediately you notice anything unusual.

4. DO NOT KEEP LATE NIGHTS

Remember it's the festive season, always make sure you get home early enough. Avoid staying out late for now. Anything can happen. You could be traced home by armed robbers if you have a car. So, why bring upon yourself and your family a calamity you could have prevented? If you're hanging out with the boys, or having a night out with the girls or having a business meeting , always be conscious of time. If you're a night crawler, now is the best time to let go of this bad habit.

5. KEEP YOUR CAR LOCKED AT ALL TIMES

Never leave your car unattended to for so long. Where ever you are going, always make sure you lock your car, and try as much as possible to keep valuables away from sight. Never place your handbag, or laptop or any other thing of value on the passenger's seat while exiting your car. You never can tell, a petty thief could break into your car and take off with your possession.

So,when leaving the car, put all these things in the boot. That way, you're preventing a case of robbery.

6. BE WARY OF FRAUDSTERS

There's a new trick in town now. Some group of unfortunate, lazy louts have devised an easy way of duping people of their hard earned cash. Always be careful of whoever you're making a business transaction with. You see these fraudsters are only out there to get rid of your times.

They will ask for your account details and automatically send a fake credit alert to your phone. You will only find out after the deed has been carried out and they are probably not in sight. So, always be careful of making use of online banking for now.

Make sure you know whoever you're transacting business with. Never share your pin with anyone. Just be extremely vigilant.

7. DO NOT DIVULGE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ONLINE

There are so many people out there who are addicted to social media. They just can't stay a whole day without being active online and saying something about themselves. It is totally okay for you to engage your online friends especially if you make your money online. But, try not to mention every of your movements online.

You're travelling to another city or country next week? Keep quiet about it, pipe it down. You just got a new car, don't go around flaunting it all over your social media handles. So many people have been wasted due to their flamboyant lifestyle online. They are very easy to track because of their updates online. For this festive season, remember, moderation is very pertinent.

Christmas is a season of giving and love. Let's all try to be our brother's keeper. If you know of someone who is not buoyant enough to celebrate the Yuletide, and you're in the position to help that person; do not hesitate to render the help needed. To you out there who do not have sufficient money to buy new clothes, you can as well re rock the clothes you have. There are several ways to combine your clothes differently to make them look unique. Please do not put unnecessary pressure on yourself. Never try to impress anyone. Cook your meals moderately and enjoy every moment with your family. You do not have to break the bank to feel good on Christmas day.

Remember it's just for a day, so do not get desperate.

Happy holidays guys.

Nichesiteseo:

Ownership and control.

As an affiliate you usually take the smallest piece of the pie.

You are basically at the bottom of the totem pole.

It’s a good way to get started to making money online as you don’t need to front up capital for inventory or building a team to sell a service.

I started that way built up cash and started my own business.

I still build affiliate sites but for clients not for myself.

I’m also working on a business to business Software business so I have my hands full.

There’s a lot of information out there on how you can get started in AM. Though you will need to filter out a lot of bad stuff.

The best advice I can give is this:

Step 1:

Just start. Test things out. People read and read and research and often don’t take action. I see this all the time.

It’s one reason why I’m not as active as I used to be here. You can give people a step by step guide and they won’t follow through.

When you plunge in, you will make mistakes but that’s fine. But you don’t learn until you take action.

Step 2:

Always be measuring your results. Observe and access what works and what doesn’t work. Then keep tweaking till you get your desired outcome.

Step 3:

Double down on what’s working very hard.

That’s it.

Prepackaged information is very inferior to just taking action.

A lot of people out there mostly teach regurgitated bad info just to sell you something. The only way to know what works is to just start.

That’s it.

That’s how I did it years back and sold 5 sites.

Trial and error.

Here’s some pointers:

1.) Choose your niche wisely. Niche selection is the make or break decision. Everything stems from this and will determine how much you make.

Avoid very popular niches like electronics and health.

Go for passion niches.

Passion niches are hobbies and things people are crazy about. Examples are paint balling and Hiking. People spend a lot of money on hobbies.

Another advantage of passion niches is low competition. Because they are usually boring niches most people won’t touch them with an hazmat suit on.

This will make it easier for you to rank.

Hyper-Focus:

Always niche down.

Don’t start a hiking site.

Start a hiking site for beginners.

Don’t start a golf site.

Start a golf site for women.

Why?:

Relevance.

The more niched your site the easier it is to cut through all the noise.

Imagine a woman interested in picking up golf as a hobby.

She’s looking to get some starter golf clubs.

Then she hops on google to research.

She’s going to stick with the site angled toward just women than a general golf site. You dig?

There’s a lot I wish I could write here. But I’m hopping around at the moment and I have to go.

Just let me know if you are really interested in goin down this route. I can then find a more tailored info for you.

Cheers.

Hello, I'm interested.

So you won't Google.. POF is Premature Ovarian Failure

Wow.. See.. Truthfully, under the law, if he decides to divorce cos of this issue, you know he'll win, cos his lawyer will say you deceived him into the marriage.

It's a tough one.

He's really pissed cos he's feeling that he was deceived into the marriage. He could be wondering how many other things you're keeping from him ry now.

Do what he wants if your marriage is of very high priority to you and let him know you're doing it to show him how sorry you are and for peace to reign between both of you.

Always staying with the kids doesn't guarantee that nothing bad will ever happen to them, and let him know that too.

It's a sacrifice or penance I think you should make IF YOUR MARRIAGE IS OF A HIGHER PRIORITY TO YOU THAN YOUR CAREER and his pay can take care of all y'all well.

My only scare now is that he doesn't begin to demand for more sacrifices from you. But looking at the positive side, if you submit, he may look back at this decision in the future and lift his ban on you working

Wish you the best

PS: You typed good. Big ups!

'He may look back on this decision and lift his ban on her working' are you kidding me? Is she a slave or a child? She's her own individual! Why must she sacrifice her career? Can't they get a nanny since they are both working? Can the man give up his own career? It's not all about (so far the man is making money, she should gladly be a stay at home mum) there's this fulfilment one derives from working irrespective of the gender.

If reverse was to be the case, the woman would have gladly forgiven her man. And why is he making such fuss by the way? They already have 3 kids.

My experience is quite different. I asked a guy to send me some movies from his laptop to my Ipad through Xender. While he was sending the movies, I noticed he was able to access my gallery on his laptop saying he wanted to check my pictures. I told him not to,so I later disconnected the Xender. But few minutes later I noticed someone screenshot my wallpaper. The most surprising thing is,I don't have a screenshot app on my Ipad. Few days later again, the lock pattern of my Whatsapp was screenshot. I panicked immediately and deleted my Whatsapp. But I'm certain this guy already has access to my Ipad. What can I do please?
Literature / Inem Sunday Jackson Also Known As Iaminem Is A Plagiarist! !! by Simplybami(f): 12:09am On Aug 15, 2018
There is a particular unrepentant plagiarist on the loose, whose name is Inem Sunday Jackson. He takes joy in stealing other people's intellectual work, and passing them off as his own. This guy is one of the guest writers for Steemit website, with the username: "iaminem", he also happens to be a nairalander with the same username. This unscrupulous element actually lifted almost all my articles either from my blog or from nairaland and posted them on the site mentioned above, taking credit for them. I was really upset when I found out about it on Sunday. So,I reached out to the website and explained everything to them. I asked them to pull down those articles and ban that thief (iaminem) from their website. But till now, they haven't replied my message, and those articles are still on their website reflecting 'iaminem' Inem Sunday Jackson as the originator of those wonderful articles. I am so angry that he is taking credit for all those articles I wrote. You can take your time guys, to check the dates I posted those articles on my blog www.simplybami..com and compare them with the dates he posted those same articles on Steemit website. Just type in the name (iaminem) on Google, and it will definitely bring out the articles(my articles)he has plagiarised. The first one you will notice is ( How To Break Loose From The Bondage Of Sport Betting) which someone even commended him on and he replied, assuming the role of the originator!!!.

I sent him a mail through Nairaland on Sunday, asking him to pull down those articles, but till now, he has not deemed it fit to reply any of my messages. This is really frustrating for a young writer. How can I come up with different articles, and one unfortunate fellow is taking credit for all my hard work. His email address is Inemesit Udoinyang. This guy is a plagiarist, taking credit for other people's intellectual works. Writers/bloggers in the house, how exactly can I prevent this from happening again? This is totally unacceptable!!! What else can I do?

Romance / Signs To Look Out For To Spot A Married Man by Simplybami(f): 12:55pm On Aug 07, 2018
I was headed for a lecture that was scheduled for 2 pm that day when I met him. He was inside his vehicle, probably making a call when he spotted me. He alighted from his car when he saw me approaching. He was very tall; about 6 feet 2. He had a clear, glowing, brown complexion, averagely built and very handsome. Damn! What a hunk of a guy.I muttered within me. When I got to few metres away him,he stopped me politely with his greetings.

'Hi good afternoon' he said to me in his husky voice smiling, revealing his nice set of dentition.

He smelt so good I felt like hugging him and sniffing his body. The air suddenly became cool. Was he having an effect on me? I asked myself. I turned towards him and replied him without stopping. 'Hello good afternoon' I said. It was just few minutes away from the scheduled time for the lecture and I wasn't about to get to the lecture room late.

'Please, if you could just spare me a little bit of your time, I would really appreciate it. 'He said to me in a convincing tone. He sounded polite to my hearing, so I halted and decided to spare him some few seconds.

'You're so pretty' he said to me with a smug look. I had gotten over the initial effect he had on me and replaced it with my ever sharp wit.

'Was that why you stopped me?' I asked him feigning irritation. Why did he have to look so good and smell so great huh? I asked myself for the umpteenth time.

'Oh, yes. A compliment is not a bad thing right? What's your name please? He inquired.

'Ayobami' I replied him checking my wrist watch. The time was 1.40 pm.

'Oh, so you're a Yoruba girl? I was expecting you to reply me with either Chioma, Ada or something.' He said in his proper accent which he wasn't faking. He pronounced his words correctly and came across as someone with a good head. I rolled my eyes, because I was tired of hearing that.

Who is a good blogger?
The most imperative distinction is that being a good blogger isn’t the same thing as being a good author or writer. Writing is just a single activity – you take an idea, and compose an article around it.

Blogging includes significantly more elements. Aside from writing.

1. Bloggers need to network with other bloggers

2. Master the specialty of online marketing, promotion, and social media.

3. Provide brand building

4. Attract new subscribers and followers

5. Have some business prudence and have the ability to turn pro/master sooner or later

6. They need to figure out how to make things happen

7. Manage their own work and time, and a whole lot more

Considering all this, there are signs that you are NOT a good blogger.

#1. You’re not publishing regularly

This is extremely fundamental, however a few people still overlook that publishing frequently is, very essentially, your primary task as a blogger.

If you don’t regularly publish, people will forget about what’s going on with your blog.

#2. You’re not managing your time properly

Time management may seem like something only people stacked with extreme amount of work need. However it is not the case.

Whatever your career is, and whatever you are doing, you can use a time management system always to make you much more effective.

#3. You have no blogging friends

Bloggers who try to get things going a lone will have a lot of harder time making progress. Building a network of contacts and using it for different reasons is a lot better approach.

Here are some of the possible advantages:

# you can email your blogging friends informing them about new post of yours,

# you can partake in joint ventures,

# also you can promote each other on various occasions,

# they may help you to get guest posting spots on other sites,

# you can have guest posts from them,

# you can promote each other’s products as affiliates, and substantially more.

#4. No one contacts you with freelance writing opportunities

In case you are a good blogger, odds are that some people will notice and contact you with new opportunities. The most obvious job for a blogger is a freelance writing task or something to that affect.

In case you’re inside a well-known or popular niche, you ought to get offers like that once in a while. However, if there aren’t any, then you’re not as good as you possibly think.

#5. You don’t know what SEO is

I’m very sorry, but good blogging has a ton to do with SEO. Good bloggers acknowledge this fact and try to make the most out of it.

Bad bloggers may think that SEO isn’t important and that content is the king. From my viewpoint, there’s no reason for providing extraordinary content in case you will do nothing to promote it in the search engines.

#6. You don’t know what your most popular articles are

This one is tied in with knowing your audience and staying aware of what’s happening on your own blog. If you don’t know what your most popular content is then how are you going to create a lot of it?

That is to say, there’s little or no point in publishing posts just for the sake of publishing.

#7. You have no plan for your blog’s nearest future

Bad bloggers are usually running around like a chicken that its head is cut off. Keep in mind that you are a blogger long term (at least that’s what I assumed).

So you should have a plan for your blog, or otherwise your success will be a significantly less predictable.
