Australia's Parliament voted to legalize same-sex marriage Thursday after years of political jockeying and fierce public debate.

Cheers and applause broke out as lawmakers voted in favor of the bill following hours of debate and emotional speeches at Parliament House in Canberra.

"This is Australia: fair, diverse, loving and filled with respect for everyone," said an effusive Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, as he introduced the bill for a final vote.

"This is a great day, it belongs to every Australian."

The bill passed its third reading with only four members of Parliament in opposition.

The parliamentarians who voted in favor of same-sex marriage took time to let the jubilant moment sink in, celebrating with hugs and handshakes and proudly sporting rainbow-colored clothing.

The good thing is that she isn't running temperatures, fever or showing symptoms of any ailment.

The problem I believe lies in your breàst....maybe it has fallen so she doesn't recognize it or the milk doesn't taste so good anymore.

She won't rapidly embrace water as I presume she's been on an exclusive feeding plan

She's just 9 months old. She's not been feeding well for about a week now. Prior to this period, her response to meals has been fantastic, favourably disposed to most foods she's introduced to.

But just last Monday, her response rate dropped. She'd only want to take breast and water. Mum would have to force-feed her at times. And on two different occasions she's had to vomit everything out almost immediately.

Despite that there's be no visible signs of 'abnormal' situations, she's been taken for a check at the hospital. A drug to treat infection was prescribed and properly administered. But still no improvement on her feeding.

She plays, no high temperature, sleeps well. Just this feeding thing.

Kindly help with your ideas and suggestions.

A block of flats in London is on fire, with people reportedly trapped inside.

Forty fire engines and 200 firefighters are battling the blaze at the Lancaster West Estate tower block, a 24-storey building in Latimer Road in White City.

The Metropolitan police were called to the apartment building at 1.15am on Wednesday, and officers and the London Ambulance Service have joined London Fire Brigade at the scene. An evacuation process is underway.

Police said two people were being treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, but reports from the scene suggest people are trapped inside their homes. More than 200 people live in the block.

Nick Paget-Brown, the leader of the Kensington and Chelsea council, has spoken on Sky News UK, saying that he was working to establish how many people were in the tower block at the time of the fire.

“Several hundred would have been in there. It’s a question of establishing how many were in there at the time of the fire.”

He said emergency centres had been set up nearby to accommodate people who had been evacuated from their homes. “We’re providing as much support as we can ... it’s quite hard to get accurate and up-to-date information but the council will be doing all that it can to work with residents who have been evacuated.”

Paget-Brown said he had not spoken to residents who had been evacuated, but said were some being treated by emergency services.

“I think at the moment the main priority is to make the building safe and ensure that residents we can evacuate are evacuated.”

He said he did not know whether people were trapped within the building: “That’s a matter for the emergency services.”

Paget-Brown had toured the building last May following a multi-million-dollar refurbishment. “I’m really not in any position to answer any questions about the structure. ... Clearly there’s a lot more work to do to actually evacuate the building and to establish how safe it is.

“This is a very, very, very severe fire.”

He said the tower block was inspected at the time of its renovation last year. “We will have to await the studies as to what the source of this has been.”

I dont think its out of place to protest. I think its out of place to mock those who went offline or those who chose to protest.

Lets not forget that Uber/Taxify have no vehicles.
They depend on us for their revenue.
This latest move by the apps is too boost their income not to boost income of partners.
They want to make it cheap so that alot more people will use their app.
Uber has reduced their car year to 2003. This is to get more people on board.

Take these scenarios,
Uber has 1000 drivers who generate an average of N300000 per month. That is 300 million of which 25% is N75000000

Or

Uber has 10000 drivers who generate an average of 100000 per month, that's 1billion Naira of which 25% is N250000000

The second scenario is their strategy.

Less money for partners more money for them.

Anyone who thinks this current regime was borne out of the interest of drivers should bury that thought.
At least I know 10 cars that did not work since Thursday.
I know about 15cars working on taxify that were not allowed on uber due to model year now with this reduction all of them may come on board.

The effects of all these will be reduced earnings for drivers and partners

choice areas do not exist. else every uber driver would be heading there. you have to be online as much as possible.
