@ dolly-pee,

You are damn too right. Was in Ibadan few days ago and had the cause to drive through Oke Ado to Idi Arere, was amazed to see Born Foto still there.

So, who is to be blamed.

This should be resolved ASAP o. Agreed they charge too much and have monopolised the whole thing, but something should have been done for long. Multichoice is being partnered in Nigeria through a Nigerian and they have been around for about 10years now.

Abeg o, they should help us out o, cos I've just paid my subscription fee to enable me stay hooked as the Premiership starts in a week's time

@ mukina2,

That's a typical Ibadan yoruba pronounciation.

Simply means, we are not Adedibu's children, my own father's name is Adetunji.
Ibadan people have never been caught or captured in the war before, we are not slaves to anyone.

Sorry please, where are you from?

As usual, I was there with her again on the 11th of June, 2006, when she was about to put to bed. Exactly 7.40am, a baby girl, named Ayomide was added to our family

Ladies and women here and elsewhere, I bow for una o. It's not always easy on that day. Prayerfully, God will keep on granting you all safe delivery

Really. That's my church till 1981, (attended baptist Day Sch, @ the back of the church), when we switched over to Idiikan Baptist Church, after we moved away from Oke Ado
Events / Re: The Wedding Dress In Those Days by SirKay3(m): 4:33pm On Aug 05, 2006
@ babaibadan,

The wedding outfit is cute, but my question is how many of our ladies can wear that on either their engagement or wedding day.

I and my wife wore similar thing on our engagement day, ten years ago.

I'm also a son of the soil. Our family house is @ Olosaoko, in between Oopo Yeosa and Oke Padre. I grew up @ Itamaya, Oke Ado. My parents later moved to Odo Oba. I once stayed @ Temidire, in Oje

I live with my family in Lagos and been residing here since 1990
Sports / Re: Am I Right To Brainwash My Son For Arsenal? by SirKay3(m): 1:42pm On Jul 30, 2006
@ Vieira,

You dont need to braiwash your boy, leave him to decide on his own after you must have made him realise the reason why you are a GUNNER.

One of my boys likes to watch LIVERPOOL plays, but he's never denied being a GUNNER. Infact we have TOTTY's shirt at home for my first boy. It was a gift from his look alike cousin in London who is a die hard Spurs fan.

I'm not bothered by anything, mine is football should not be seen as an enmity thing, it's supposed to breed friendship. I've given out several sourvenirs belonging to other clubs as gifts to such clubs' supporters before

Family / Re: Are Men Really Scarce Or Rare For Marriage? by SirKay3(m): 11:56am On Jul 23, 2006
I dont think men are scarce, but the problem is with the fact that getting a realiable, responsible and committed men are the issues. Many men out there are for nothing more than going to bed with ladies and so far this is done, definitely the so called ladies are viewed as useless bedmates.

Let ladies give themselves the needed respect and you'ld see that men will treat them with respect too and hold them in high esteem. Some ladies also are not serious to me, insincerity has taken over, with the mind of aiming to be what you are not, I mean looking for ready made big men, ready to spend money on them, whereby this affects their desires and wants, even when they have a relationship with other young men, which leads to breaks in relationships.

Humility is no longer there, even the so called sisters in churches have gone the way of the world. Some are choosy, while some are domineering, so where do we go from here. There are so many stories in a column in Sunday Punch about this, you'ld see for yourselves what ladies are going through today

That's why you see that marriages are no longer sweet as it used to be. Divorces are taking over here and there

May God help us all

Career / Re: Best Paying Company In Nigeria? by SirKay3(m): 8:32pm On Jul 18, 2006
@ All,

Chevron should be the first, because of the strong union and the very best welfare packages you can think of in the oil industry.

This is what I know very well, but will not want to disclose anything further than this.

Getting jobs in Chevron is as easy as anything you can think of, so far you have the brains and very intelligent. Indigenes of oil producing area stands most chance with these qualities. The problem is that Chevron rarely advertise vacancies and most of the staff are on contract
Romance / Re: Will You Take Back Your Gifts When You Break Up? by SirKay3(m): 7:32pm On Jul 18, 2006
It happened to me many years ago, before I got married to my wife. We broke up for two solid years when we were dating each other and I never gave a hoot about all I gave to her, even when she insisted on returning them.

Till tomorrow, that's part of what she said gave her a true notion about me, even though I went totally blank when we broke up. Never knew we'ld eventually be hubby and wifey after the breakup.

It's a childish behaviour to me
