how do u deal with stress??

many ways: l listen to calming music and "re-find me" in the moment
                     watch comedy, the laugh heals
                       take a walk
                      warm bath
                      sleep
                and if i cant sleep, i just relax alone no meditation,

its healthy as long as you dont overdose (as with most things)

definitely make sure she doesnt get away with it, inorder to avoid habit forming. no excuse will do
tell her in a language that she will understand the consequences and serious punishments of lying,esp to mommy.
reinforce her whenever she tells the truth
imply different punishments method, not just one

anyways, the deed is already done, no need crying over spilled milk in terms of her hiv status. her utmost concern should be for her own health and that of her unborn. she should make sure her unborn is safe from the virus. depending on where she stays, she should make sure she gets antiretroviral drugs during labour, it is the most important time for it inorder to lessen/avoid the transmission. she should try and really find another accommodation away from the man. staying with the man will not only worsen her current condition but might also give her high bp(if she doesnt have it already with all this problem) which will definitely complicate her pregnancy, it might be hard for her but if its possible she needs to try as much to manage her stress level. she can still have life outside of that idiotic slowpoke and hiv. be strong for her, she needs all the support she can get. hiv is very manageable. she will triumph. God is on her side.

i dont really think your main issue is the age difference rather the fact that you think you are not quite ready to marry yet. so, the age thing is secondary here.

i have a friend whos husband is 12yrs older than her and their marriage is still intact. i have seen many bigger age differences in marriages and it hasnt really being an issue.personally, i dont think you should solely focus on the age thing but more on the quality of the man. but if it bothers you a lot you might maybe have to reconsider

i havent really come across any parents who denies his/her child of independent thinking although in some issues they may interfere. i wouldn't chase my 25yr old out of the house especially when she incapable of self sustainment. however, she must abide my rules whether she is 16 or 25. the rules will determine whether what her choice will be then. . . .
