H2O2:not making it seem/sound 'anomaly', my issue is why make the mistake of stepping into something with this unease mindset while you still have the chance to make a free decision. a bad relationship is always better than a bad marriage. I'm not directly opposed to her dumping him. If she's dumping him for precarious reasons, then it is more than likely that she could fall into a similar hole again with the next man she gets involed with.how so? If she's aware of what's missing and she knows what she's looking for then since she has this man she can seek it out in him;meaning, work it out him and see if he changes? I disagree. I won't tell her to suck it up and deal with it, but I am making sure she's aware of the huge possibility that it could happen to her. Thinking it won't happen to you means you're just not thinking as they say.in other words, think wise before leaving this your BF, because a bird at hand is always better than those on the tree? |
coolier:bet ya, theres a 98% chance theyre naija, more reason it will highly not work out. if they are from the civilized societies, you would have heard the man at least give you a convincing reason why he loves this woman to death. but a classical naija gold digger, will probably tell his worried friends, "oh boi, cool down. i gat dis" those kind of things. imagine a man marrying someone who is 18yrs older than him for where? not definitely our patriarchal naija society. dude wants her money, love, attention and all she got. after drinking her dry, he will then tell her, how this marriage cant work out, blah, blah. my family, my mother etc dont think this or that. |
H2O2:but why the " possibility of being 35, single, and desperate" because if she leaves her BF that makes her feel unease then shes doomed and will never find another husband or BF again ![]() youre still reiterating the same thing which is suck it up and deal it, because if you leave him now, you have the possibility of never finding another man, even at the tend age of 23 ![]() |
wouldnt dare it. be it a million dollarpesonairapounds. that process and procedure is not definitely for the faint of heart. can you first of all, endure the daunting process of the physical aspect of it? all those invasive procedures? the time and consistency of it? what about the psychological aspect of it? even though, you will go through a psychological exam, supposing you pass at that period, will you be able to deal with the thought of half your DNA being out there for a longtime? after the money finishes, will you feel guilty for selling your eggs for such motives? yes, the money is definitely tempting especially for a college student whos always on a tight budget. but you have consider the long term implication of it for yourself. |

whiteroses:You are speaking as if, every man out there likes shaved privates. Many men don't like the look of pre-puberty privates, either do many give or receive oral sez. |
Nezed:ROFTLMAO!!!! I like this!!! Comes in handy when you have abusive husbands who think they can treat you like a piece of droppings and get away with it. @ B-B LMAO!!! You this woman you're too much!!! |
Pampers:agree. |
Funny/best: if you think you cant control your spending, honey, give your husband the checkbook! Good: Be that spouse you would want to come home everyday to. Best: my children, you can never know each other enough. everyday in your marriage is a learning experience. you might see/know things you never knew about each other. always keep your mind and heart open. |
H2O2:OR maybe go and marry him. when she is 25 or 26 then come back here and tell us how he treats her a like a piece of trash and then we will all ask in chorus " didnt you guys date? didnt you see all this then? why did you go ahead and marry?" next it will be "some women are silly, women and their desperation for marriage and how they always go for the bad guys who will treat them like a piece of shit all in the name marriage" you think that sounds better ![]() |
college savings |
OP it is a matter of personal preference. there is no right or wrong in it. if you feel more comfortable with YOURself with your hairs cut, wax, shaved or trimmed down there, then so be it. though for many, they just feel more comfortable not touching the sacredness of those hairs there. |
so people still think HIV is a white man invention huh? the sad and scary thing about this numbers is that there could more double people who dont EVEN KNOW they are infected. goddness me. btw A-40, me is liking dat your sign |
Deep Soul:my dear, think very deeply about your decisions. sometimes we only have one chance in life to make/get it right. these things you see about him that makes you feel this way, you should DEFINITELY NOT IGNORE it. and dont ever have the mindset that "oh well, its a just a thought, maybe he will change after marriage". men hardly change after marriage, for many it gets worse. take it from me. and please dear, free yourself from that popular myth "will i ever find love again"? you are wayyyyyy too young, whether you believe it or not, to be stuck up in such thinking. and even younger to be stuck up in a marriage you will live everyday regretting. use your head (now that you still can) to make wise decisions not with your emotions/love. |
i will rescue whoever i see FIRST. |
take care of your family first. the baby is still too young |
D Governor:its not going to work if you keep reminding yourself about the age difference. sorry. |
adetoru:Roflmao . so why u were busy crying he was seriously busy matching inside the classroom. ready to start counting his abcd's |
1) Intelligence (i find it highly stimulating to be/around {with} an intelligent person ) 2) Wealth (believe what you want, but i dont want wake up everyday drinking pap and akara) 3) Height 4) confidence ( as long as he doesnt confuse it with be an arrogant jerk) 5) power/influence 6) Good Looks (there is always the plastic surgeon office) 7) Fashion/Dress sense (he can always borrow my clothes) |
Don't see the need for "morally and spiritually" rightness in this. If you think this is the person you want to share your life with, the little age difference should be the lest of your problem. It's people who you tell she's older than you will know. 5-7 years is not that big. I have seen bigger numbers and no body stopped them |
aisha2:Chaii!!! LOL ![]() @ Brown The first one on the funny ones, got me Lmaoing!!! Very funny indeed! |
Cover girl? |
Spanishfly:cheater alert. whats next? he will probably try to bed you, claiming that he just trying to test for his "brother". |
Best: from a couple who has been married for over 50 years getting to 60 now and still have a very strong marriage. Question: what has been keeping you both together for this longest time? whats your secrert? Answer: "secret? there is no secret my dear. just perseverance, endurance, sacrifice, respect and God. you see the problem with so many todays marriage is that they lack this virtues. you have to preserve in marriage. you must make sacrifices in marriage. and you must learn to endure. she continued. respect is a huge part because you cant have two captains at a wheel at the same time. you MUST learn to respect each other. and you cant forget those three word "i am sorry" finally, she said the biggest one is GOD. remember there are three people involved in a marriage. God, you and your spouse. if you take God out of the equation, you will have a hard time balancing things out. NEVER forget him. make him the captain of your marriage. you will encounter many storms and waves of the ocean in your marriage, but with God in charge, you will NEVER be shaken" |
