Travel / Re: Why Do Nigerians Back Home Hate On Nigerians Living Abroad Especially In The US by SisterCaro(m): 6:15am On Jan 13, 2015

So you think it is a good thing that Nigerians find it so hard to travel visa-free? I had a Nigerian friend in university in England who wanted to visit me in the Bahamas over summer. It turned out that, since there is no Bahamas embassy in Nigeria, he would need a visa to be issued by the British High Commission in Lagos!!!!! When he applied, they flatly turned him down. How can a British official refuse to grant a Nigerian a visa to visit the Bahamas. The whole thing is CRAZY and not good. The world is globalising. How can you expect to continue with nonsense like visas? Time to drop visas altogether, except for the most dangerous countries like Afghanistan. I am surprised the Nigerian people do not demand that their government negotiate visa free access with important countries.

Aunty you do not seem to understand something, Bahamas is a holiday destination for many, hence a lot of countries enter visa free and as a result of this people from Bahamas can enter many countries without visas or visas upon arrival.

Nigeria is not a holiday destination for many which is why it has many restrictions and the fact that many Nigerians have created a bad name for the country because of the numerous illegal activities they engage in, other countries have made it much harder for Nigerians to live in their countries.

If the government cannot enough promise Nigerians sufficient electricity and water supply even though its far from being a poor country, what makes you think they can take on a task like Negotiating visa free access?

Other countries should have an interest in Nigeria in order to make traveling between Nigeria and those countries easier. Sometimes you have to sit down use common sense and understand why its not as easy as you put it.

What applies in Bahamas will not apply in Nigeria because what Bahamas has to offer to the world is not the same as what Nigeria has to offer to the world.

Now run along kid!
I cannot be pained by someone thinking flat hips look more appealing than round womanly hips. Its not that i don't like yours, you have a more manly figure with straight thighs and she has a womanly figure with wider curvy hips. If you walk next to her guys wouldn't notice you. That's all i had to say smiley good day

Obesity dey cause HBP o. Am not saying curves shudnt be dere but just ok like mine. Hehehheee all dis ones too haba. Load!
But aunty we saw your pictures on Miss NL and you are an apple shape, you have straight thighs so which curves are you talking about?
Plus your bum bum did not look nice, big and round. It looked like a piece of yam glued on your back.

People who feel sexy and content in their own skin do not have to bash other people to feel good about themselves. smiley

Everyone was created differently, every woman does not to have straight thighs like yours to look appealing.

Did you leave out the bold ended part on purpose to feel good, or are you dvmb?
Unlike you i have a life outside this forum, hence i do not spend 95% of my life on Nairaland like you probably do.

Even if we talk of domestic violence why do you have more criminal records of men with regards to domestic violence than you have of women anywhere in the world if women are more violent. I cannot possibly be the dumb one when u havent done research. smiley

Those 200girls are under the control of terrorists and they live with them, so whatever form of abuse they are subjected to can be seen as domestic violence.

Sister Carolina, haven't you heard of female suicide bombers?
Or do you think there are no women loyal and sympathetic to the cause of boko haram/terrorist organizations?

Anyway, this thread is about violence in a domestic setting - and in this case, women who abuse/mistreat their helps, maids, relatives, and even children, outnumber men who mistreat their wives...
kidnapping over 200girls and violating them in any way imaginable isnt a form of violence? Good to know terrorism is not a form of violence undecided

Definitely female, caught the sarcasm BTW.
The only reason females can't be physically abusive towards men is lesser strength.

But when it comes to other women and children they can prey on, you'll realize that the number of women who are physically abusive to their helps, maids, children, or other women whom they consider a class lower than they are, grossly outnumber abusive men.

A man would hardly treat a child that way no matter how angry or bitter he is.
and how many women do you see doing this kind of thing?

Family / Men Becoming More Responsible In The House by SisterCaro(m): 10:23am On Oct 30, 2014
I have come to the realisation of the importance of a husband being involved more in the upkeep of the household and child-rearing. Gone are the days when all a man had to do was just go to work and cone back home and sit in front of the television and wait to be served food and expect an amazing round of sexxx before bed. As the African society has evolved and women are also taking care of financial responsibilities, men too should start contributing in child-rearing and keeping order in the house and ensuring that its clean. Learn how to change diapers and cooks a couple of dishes.

There is a need to create a balance. If both work during the week, you should both keep the house in order and the children in check. It should not be seen as the sole responsibility of a woman, since the house and children are not hers alone, but belong to both spouses. It is the primary responsibility of both to become assets to their households and not burdens.
