What is this aborigine saying? So after 2nd term he should just put Patience Umbrella. Then in 2027 Patience will hand over to that their fat son. He would have come of age then.

Primitive bandits!
PoliticsRe: APC Vs PDP (a Vote) by skyfall: 4:49am On Apr 25, 2013
The OP said: This thread is just a feel of what Nigerians think of the 2 parties.

He didn't say anything about candidate. You guys shouldn't derail the thread.
PoliticsRe: Yoruba's Will Not Benefit From APC Or Buhari As President - Okupe by skyfall: 9:56pm On Apr 24, 2013
Who let this Okugbe pig out of the sty to start making this howling noise about APC? We'll change his name from attack dog to attack pig.

I thought you said APC is a failure, how come your obsession with them? Agbaya, ole, alainitiju, alatenuje, wombia, onijekuje. Idiota of the highest order.

Smart guy. But even if MTN ports Obama, I can't use their SIM, and it doesn't stop thousands of their unhappy subscribers from porting to other networks.

What else do you expect from a Commander-in-Chief of corrupt politicians?
PoliticsRe: Corruption Is Massive Under Jonathan – US by skyfall: 7:53am On Apr 23, 2013
This is what we scream about everyday. As long
as PDP is in power, corruption will be the pastime
of Nigerian govt officials. What makes this govt
very bad is that it pretends and lies that it's
fighting corruption, but in the real sense it is busy
nurturing its seeds. People who feared to steal
before are now rest assured that you can steal
and get away with it. At worst, you get fined a
tiny % of what you've stolen. And that's it.

When you read the responses of some supposedly young Nigerians here, you can't but pity the country. Sycophancy has eaten deep into their brains so much that they shamelessly call black white. Or is it driven by hunger?

I dislike stickers too. But you know Nigerians are superstitious & showy, that's why you see all them...2013, my year of [uncommon favors, deliverance, riches etc].

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Seeks Stiffer Penalties For Corrupt Officials by skyfall: 11:44am On Apr 19, 2013
Good development. But let's remember that the house and senate are both controlled by the PDP. Let's see how this one pans out.

Not surprised at the colorful but meaningless language. That's how religious folks console themselves that they've got what others don't have. But it's nothing other than empty air. That's exactly what the author of this post is talking about.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu’s Rousing Speech At The ACN Convention by skyfall: 11:30am On Apr 19, 2013
Great, motivating speech. Spoken like a general rousing his troops to war. Of course some people are not happy with this development, but unfortunately, they're on their own.
Christianity EtcRe: Reasons A Former Pastor Became An Atheist by skyfall:
What do you stand to loose if you follow God ? May be just drunkenness,adultery/fornication,murder,hatred,gossip,greed, covetousness and many other negative habits ! So,why keep all these negative things with you ?
God help us
Is that why you practice religion? You know it doesn't make sense, but because that's what everyone does, you follow suit? That's pretty laughable. If I find the god who's logical, reasonable and not wicked like the orthodox god we've always been told about, I'll follow it.

And no, I don't have to be immoral just cos I don't believe in this god. I have a conscience and I follow it. I choose to do right because I know it's the right thing to do, and don't do evil because it's wrong, not because that's what an imaginary being wants me to do or not, or because it's watching me.

You see, most religious folks are hypocrites. They follow religious edicts in the open but then do whatever they like when they're alone. No, we can do better than that. It's actually an insult for you religious folks to imply that a human being can't be moral without being religious. That can't be more untrue, when you consider that most of the worst acts of hatred perpetrated in the world have been as a result of religious convictions. An average "deeply religious" individual has a lot of hate and condemnation for anyone who doesn't share his religious beliefs.
Christianity EtcRe: Reasons A Former Pastor Became An Atheist by skyfall:
Great writeup! Religion is the biggest scam ever unleashed on mankind.

It's not easy to look back one day and realise all the brainwashing you've been put through as a kid, but when you manage to do so, it all suddenly becomes clear. There may be a god, but we simply don't have any clue so far. But he's definitely not the one orthordox religions have always told us about. That god is surely someone's imagination.

PoliticsRe: ACN Doesn’t Think Of Yoruba Welfare —fasehun by skyfall: 9:59pm On Apr 14, 2013
shymexx: It isn't about my psyche, it's about the docile people who don't really care about their own welfare and have been reduced to crumb munchers in exchange for singing praises of greedy and utterly corrupt politicians... Heaven helps those who help themselves, and if those who're directly affected don't care because of their stupidity and lack of foresight - why should I??

We can't keep praising mediocrity and using other medievally run dilapidated states in Nigeria, or Nigeria itself as a standard - we need to start aiming higher... These people don't care about Yoruba people and they have continued to grow fatter off Yoruba people with their extreme capitalism ideology... We need to take it back to the 60s and use Awolowo's achievements as the standard!!
If it was as easy as you've typed, Nigeria would have become a paradise long ago. However, change is a gradual and often annoyingly, slow process. Everyone has their own choice at the end of the day, but i'd rather pitch my tent with people who are experienced in the political process than a Fasehun who has always been in the sidelines and understands almost nothing about politics. It is beyond just listing the ideals of Awolowo. Anyway, let him start from the scratch and see how easy it is to win elections. It's very easy to condemn Tinubu but if every SWner and Nigerian has put in the same efforts that Tinubu and his crew have in the last decade, we won't be where we are now.
PoliticsRe: ACN Doesn’t Think Of Yoruba Welfare —fasehun by skyfall: 8:37pm On Apr 14, 2013
shymexx: Bro., is there any honest politician in Nigeria? ACN/PDP/OPP - all birds of a feather, period...

I read about how all these ACN bigwigs have bought up everywhere in Lagos, yet they act as if they care about the people... They don't care about no one, they only care about their fat fugly heads!

If you have got a chance to eat and get fat, you better go there and get your own... undecided undecided
If this is really your psyche, you shouldn't complain about ACN then, or PDP for that matter. Nigerians can only get leaders who are as good as Nigerians. If most Nigerians are in Tinubu's shoes, they'll do much worse than him. I also don't think that ACN politicians are perfect but please don't start comparing them with PDP especially if you live in the SW or Edo. If you complain that all the parties are the same, then I expect you to have formed yours and it's miles better than all of them.
PoliticsRe: ACN Doesn’t Think Of Yoruba Welfare —fasehun by skyfall: 8:18pm On Apr 14, 2013
berem: PDP has finally succeeded in merging with a faction of APGA. thanks to Okorocha for not joining the evil party. PDP has now shifted their evil plan to merge with a dead party UPN. No thanks to Frederick Fasheun for being the sellout and the resurrector of a dead party. It is well!
Don't mind them jare. For UPN, no problem at all. I know my people; when they're ready to say NO, they say it in a resounding and embarrassing manner. He and Olu Falae are destined to fail in their efforts to revive some dead political parties in order to sabotage SW's votes in 2015. Now is the time for everyone to come together in opposition and bury the evil PDP in 2015.

Hear him: “We have
appealed to the federal government to let us
work together to activate the short code 112
so that our people can easily contact us in
time of need, but this has proved fruitless."

The PDP-led fed govt hates to see things working in the non-PDP states. I just wonder the kind of animals in human clothes who constitute this PDP.
PoliticsRe: ACN Doesn’t Think Of Yoruba Welfare —fasehun by skyfall:
gunuvi: Fasheun has bared it all. It is true that ACN used their own selfish interest to sell out many Yorubas. The speakership of Mulikat that we lost still pains me till now, all because of ACN selfish interest.
Talks like this embarrass me. So how does Mulikat becoming the speaker change anything in Yorubaland and Nigeria? The solution to Nigeria's problems does not lie in "my person being there." People really need to get this into their heads. What we need is a responsible govt that has the welfare/progress of Nigerians at the top of their agenda. We should choose our leaders based solely on merit and antecedents.
Mulikat had none and was going there to be a Jonathan's stooge.

It's already on Youtube. It's left to Nigerians to download it and exchange it with one another via Bluetooth.
