nitigriti: I'm stubborn ooo when it comes to these LASTMA and Police guys. Some examples 1) Yesterday, at that roundabout near LASUTH, those traffic policemen and women came to stop me because the light turned red after I had crossed the traffic light. "Gerrout of my front", I bellowed at them, with authority. They scampered away 2) There was a time LASTMA stopped me at Ahmadu Bello Way inward Adeola Odeku. They said I blocked the 2nd lane turning off Ahmadu Bello into Adeola Odeku. The officer asked for my driving license, I gave him (color photocopy). He then asked for my vehicle particulars. I told him they were in the booth, that he should let me park well so I can get them. Before he accepted or not, I drove off last week, i didn't use my handsfree nor Bluetooth. Then i held my phone to my ear receiving riders call, moving slowly under apongbon bridge... One lastma officer just appeared in front, raised his hand for me to stop. Never... I hit the gas pedal and aimed to break his two legs. The guy flew like a mat. I watched him on mirror adjusting his cap. He couldn't believe it. (dont try it if dem bring that their chukuchuku thing wen dey pierce tyre o) |

So i got to pick up location (uber). six hefty middle age women came out of the restaurant. They wanted another car, but can't order....
I told them i could order another car using my taxify app, they agreed. Taxify regular was 6 mins ETA Taxify Lite was 1 min Of course i clicked lite....
1. The guy was so close, if he used the map he would meet us in less than 4mins. He started tuning round, free road o. He arrived 15mins
2. He came with a car having different number plate from what he registered on his profile. I just told the 3 women in my car: this is not supposed to be the car to pick ur 3 other colleagues, the right driver but the number plate is different o Women: cab is cab we are running late jare.... Me(ok o)
Guys dey do ojoro for taxify sha... |

On billings way chilling with other drivers(alone in the car) Few minutes ago, a girl just walk up to my car, knocked and said; pls i need a request. I quickly got down and ask; do u drive uber or taxify? She: i do both, i just need a request on taxify to add to d bonus counts. (wonderment!) At last i came face to face with a lady driver)
We chat, laughed.
Ok lemme request you... Hold on. A request from someone else entered her phone. She want a trip to the island. Already set destination on uber(impressive) She called to ask destination ; Cement. Agege. She declined. Ok lemme request you Immediately another entered her phone. This time she ask me : why only her was getting the request. Are u not online Me: i am. maybe u are luckier.
She ask; is ur car lite or regular. Me: regular na She: i am getting the lite requests. Mine is 2003.(clean corolla CE).
Lesson: people are getting informed about the lite and using it. So nice.

TheCar: If we forget Uber/Taxify, then what are we doing here.
Is VW built good for this business?
Would you rent a VW built as a driver since it's far ahead of Japanese built?
Would you like to take the car on hire-purchase while you handle all repairs and maintenance?
If your answer is Yes, then please contact the seller to buy the car. i can rent a 2008 1.4ltr golf 5 if uber accepts it |

GAZZUZZ: I receive an average of 150 calls every day, over 95per are from NL, some of you are nice and ask if it is a good time to talk, others just start talking about their car problems like you pay me to answer calls.
Some of you call at odd hours of the night and expect me to be nice.
Some of you call repeatedly (5-10 times repeatedly)
My response will be reciprocal to your approach.
I bought a Bluetooth head piece so I can multi-task while taking your numerous calls.
I have multiple threads for responding to queries, I have a mail box, there is an Sms option too.
I have a life outside fixing vehicles respect it.
Here is how you should do it: You don't have to pick all calls (use a voice box) If you must pick but cannot talk much, announce it to the caller as soon as you pick up. Suggest another time for him to call. Some callers squeeze time to place their call cause they are very busy and they want to rush the talking. Politely tell them to call back or return the call when free... (as of odd hour calls.... Heheheheh. Me i don't even pick calls once i am on bed and its 11pm. But i can chat till midnight lol) Meanwhile the first and only time i called you. You sounded calm and welcoming. Nice. |

chybaz: This is funny, and quite explanatory that u are not an experienced mechanic when it comes to volkswagen. You need no repair manual to fix a VW. All you need do is to plug a system for diagnosis. And vuala, that's it. The system tells u the fault, not loke Japanese cars that dont have good shocks and mechanic can cheat u with a Japanese car. But with a volkswagen, the system already tells what's faulty. Vw has the cheapest shocks, and very cheap parts at Itire (by Ladipo), same mushin axis. Car with more balance, stronger engine and everlasting shocks.
(Since i was born and now i am still getting young; i have never seen danfo or this volkswagen park someone up on the road; brothers have u seen ) lets forget uber/taxify VW technology/built is far ahead of any Japanese counterparts Don't even argue biko |

pafo: Never going to happen. I read they are running at a loss even at the 25 percent and it doesnt look like it will change with drivers still running the cars. Thats why they were testing the driverless cars thingy and that looks to have hit a snag for the forseeable future.
Reducing that commission is a dream that will not happen. Then taxify would totally snooker them pretty soon... |

brogxy: But the drivers are not protected. No cancellation fee, and I don't think u can get ur money if a rider doesn't pay. But I like the bonus part, I still got the 9k promo during the weekend for the first time on Taxify, Friday, one rider nearly got away with my money. He rushed upstairs to tell his aunt to transfer the money. Didn't transfer nada... I got another request to d airport, so i left. Switched off his phone till Saturday nite. When i got him he said he forgot, i will see d money now now. Didn't send. Called him on sunday and ask him why. Another excuse. I just told him if you dont send my money i will report u to taxify, ur security at the estate gate and publish ur number lol. Sunday night i saw my 1500 alert. Taxify need to add compensation oo |
