Today just too dull for my taxify. Only three trips since morning and I got out early to enable me meet up with their bonus. My vehicle is 2008

i did two taxify with fat pay before d bonus timing... And 3 after... Suddenly request dried up... But uber dey enter fast so far

My analysis of the new category ish is that....Taxify did not get it right for this 1....here are my points
1...while some drivers are smiling now some are very sad....from short findings Taxify lite struggles for request
2...Taxify light drivers wld definitely be concentrating on uber more...those on only Taxify Wed try and join d uber train.
3....4 now most riders have not figured it out yet by the time they do m sure most of the drivers Wld have blended more in uber...thereby making it hard to get a Taxify lite is which is supposed to be the cheaper fare option...drivers are complaining now and am sure there are looking for alternatives....
5. Partners wld soon stop buying those Taxify lite category cars....because there is more money in the base Taxify...
6... drivers wld soon start to reject or renegotiate rentals for cars 2004 below....

I got same complaint. Taxify has the "TAXIFY" option as the default option. With time, riders will get used to it.

shebi for longer wait and not too cool/older car? Taxify lite idea is crap. Some drivers go suffer meanwhile

Ok thanks. I have taken a screenshot for the moment and I am not driving tmrw to see what it will be on Monday.
The 3 cancelled trip are on the 14th. doing this just to be sure.

Here is how it will look like if u don't drive for 7 days. But for few days, it regulates.

So many things I can do on Uber that I can't do on taxify.
* I don't need to confirm arrival if I am at the pickup location while using uber.
* A click on navigation botton can control the Google map to the new destination if the rider updates the destination. But you can't do that on taxify.
* Uber gives Clear details of each trip but taxify doesn't.

comparing Taxify app to Uber app is like comparing Lagos and London.

While you're having the best day, am here having the worst day.

Woke up as usual, used my car remote to open my car.
The car security alarm went off, I tried using my key to put it off it refused. I tried forcing the key into the car key hole, it refused entering
while forcing it the car key broke in the mouth, had to use plyer to remove it after much struggle, I came out, now my whole compound is awake because of the alarm.

Anyway to cut the story short, I finally dealt with it.
Now am online by 8am on taxify no request waited till like 9am no request, drove round my usual spots I get request, still no request.

I requested my self to confirm everything was okay, it came in.
Now I decided to switch to Uber as taxify no get request.
Entered uber now I noticed I have been signed out, tried signing back in, they keep asking me for verification code that has refused dropping on my phone, I tried it about 10x they banned from trying again that should wait for 2hrs to try again, so I google what the problem was.
Saw online that I need to make sure my line is not on Do not disturb mode.
Immediately I called mtn customer care, and the lady representative told me my line was truly on do not disturb mode, so I told her to put it back on, which she did. To cut the story short till now I still can't get the code.

Back to taxify
Went back online got one request after 30min, the lady said we will go to different places see me happy. Now I got to her destination she said her BF refused letting her leave the house, that I should cancel. E remain small make I collect the BF number ginger am.
Now it's already 11am, so I said let me just go and handle my other business then come back by 1pm to chase taxify evening trip.

1pm came back online still no trip, now I noticed my Wi-Fi Ntel is misbehaving, tried my GLO subscribed line inside my phone, something I subscribed last week, I saw I don't have subscription on it, I madt.
Tried using my Accessbank app to sub, the app was misbehaving too, taking so much time to load, then after everything it will not load well to work.
To cut the story short, I have decided to take the day off, I believe it's for my own safty God is in control.

Taxify don restored their bonus....

Got a trip from around four point in lekki to otunla road in ajah and back to the pickup location. Can believe I got N6k for a trip of 90km above 2hrs.
My morale just went down immediately.
And meanwhile, the app is showing nonsense trip details

That thing caused serious damage to Uber in nigeria. People are still afraid of cancellation till now.

i swear... I usually target it when riders number is switched off or he puts a foreign number

I was on Eric Moore jeje when this request came in on Uber. I saw 11 minutes to pick up location (boundary area, ajegunle). I called the rider immediately and told him I was on Badagry Express. "Should I come?" He said no, that I was too far away. I said OK, please cancel from your end. He said no, that Uber will charge him. I was trying to explain that Uber will not charge him if he cancels within 5 minutes, he abruptly ended the call.
I called him again and told him I'm probably the closest driver to him, that is why Uber pushed his request to me; and that I can be there in 10 minutes. He said 'oga, if you like, don't cancel. Me, I don't want Uber to charge me'. Again he abruptly ended the call.

See senseman .. I just drove to pick up location and slid my arrival button. I didn't even bother to call him to let him know I was there. After 5 minutes, I cancelled, "rider isn't here". I got my #300.00 cancellation fee

eric moore to boundary ajegunle is about 6km. Quite far. I only chop cancellation fee like that when its around 2 or 3km max.
I remember those days when cancelation charge was 1000. I get up to 3 every week

bad drivers Have run out of guarantors, no one wants to sign anything on their behalf, Car owners are smarter, Drivers are identifying dead cars easily, some Bad drivers, have started repenting Fresh Cars coming in, old cars being sold on NL, jiji, checki and on the road side New investors coming in every day, the rains will hit hard and some cars will frustrate their owners, drivers will start looking for other cars. it's a cycle.

in summary, cars are more than drivers, fresh and old.

FOR NEW DRIVERS

If a partner asks for security deposit ( especially these ones shouting 35k ) and you have the money, don't just drop the cash yet. Go and do a thorough check on the car
Inspect the car between 12 noon and 3:30 pm when the sun is hot ( to verify if the ac works. If the ac has to be turned to No 3 or high before it cools, then be wary of that car). Also ensure all the vents are OK.

Ask the partner to service the car before you pick it ( if it isn't serviced yet)

Check the lights front and rear ( for dead ones and non functional ones)

Observe the sound of the engine ( if it revs too high for a normal car)

How neat is the interior?( the seats, dashboard etc)

Check the body and paint. ( dented bumpers, faded body paint, dents, Scratches)

Tyres

If your partner asks for weekly delivery of more than 35k, flee. I repeat, FLEE



Remember they will always say you are to bear the cost of minor repairs. If you ignore these tips, then you will understand that these repairs are not minor. Your church members will contribute to help you remit your weekly debt.
Riders will rate you and your eyes will open. From 5.0 to 4.6
Ask the partner to state clearly in the agreement form what will happen to your security deposit at the expiry of the contract.


If you are satisfied that these are sorted out, you can then drop your hard earned security deposit.

set ur location/GPS at high accuracy so it uses every connection to estimate positioning
