People, I am tired...
The truth is that we (as diarylanders) were happy being alone in our section chatting with one another and occassionally visiting alosiby's house. The trouble started when other friends of diarians came in and strted having conversations that did not concern the rest of us. All we asked was that they start a diary. Even a one word paragraph would enable access to enjoy the chat room as we knew who they were and could somewhat relate to them. Even Seun has a diary and therefore a right to comment on the chat section.We were a close knit bunch, even closer knit because of our stories and insights into one another's lives.
Instead of people to respect our privacy and close-knit-ness, you people got angry when we defended our section and demanded people have diaries, you came in , caused unneccessarry fights and wrecked havoc in the place. It was no longer fun for those of us who fought and petitioned that our section may have a chat room. You raped our chat room, put up lewd pictures and got one of our members banned in the process. You said it was a public forum and you were free to comment, yet we never went to your section to insult you or shame you in public by inviting all our friends to come beat you up. You enjoy your section and we enjoy ours, can we not leave it at that?
We felt we could not even chat in OUR CHATROOM anymore, so we relocated to this place which was our temporary abode before we had a chat room. We wanted to chat and gossip and not bother anyone but then just because we mentioned your name and asked why you were here invading on our privacy, when we had left the chat room for you, you let all hell break lose and sought to punish us for mentioning your name by giving everyone our hide out location, giving the excuse AGAIN that it is a public forum and everyone can see it.
All we are are a group of close knit friends enjoying our privacy and gossiping once in a while. We identify you with the romance section because we had never seen you here or in diaryland and most of your posts were in the romance section. you did not know us before this. Even when we see your derailing threads, we do not participate and insult you...we treat those we like with jokes and welcome them, yet chase away those who did not make an effort to be friendly, as I am sure you do in your respective sections.
As for Slimyem, sorry for mentioning your name. i think you took it too far though...I apologise and just want peace..

Dairy section,romance section or general section is not and cannot be for any particular group or set of people.Anybody can choose to pitch his/her tent anywhere on the forum..
There is no privacy to be respected here...and that's why its called a PUBLIC forum!
