As a post M.A student who has some level of rapport with my lecturers at B.A level, I've come to understand that some private universities actually solicit for marks from lecturers on behalf of their students.

School authorities in a particular private university in Osun state beg lecturers to raise grades of E & F students based on the consideration of money paid.

And from my interactions with graduates from private universities - Covenant, Babcock, Bowen & Redeemers; I've come to a conclusion that they lack the rigour of research/academia. What I'm trying to say is that they're being taught the basic, they're aware of surface information (as far as History as a discipline goes) but further analysis and in-depth research seems not to be their thing.

I mostly don't take them serious but I do not brush them off either.

Dude, I graduated from a private university with a cgpa of 3.93 on a scale of 5. While serving I was tauted that my sch gave free marks that's why there's plenty of first class and upper degrees from the school. I took that as a challenge, I went to a top 6 federal university for masters, despite the fact that they didn't want to give me admission because 'by the time they start advanced microeconomics, I will be lost due to my first degree background' I managed to get the admission, of course I had to prove my mettle. Long story short, I and the course rep emerged best graduating student with cgpa of 4.14/5, now will you still compare I & the course rep who had his first degree from the sch and knows his way round all the lecturers? Am not saying he's not smart, but I proved a point. Today this dept now accepts private university graduates.
They had no choice but to offer me doctoral admission which am presently on.

All four tires of my rx300 were expired and while still using them I discovered I had to pump all four at least once a week, by the end of the week, they all go down, so I guess it was because they were all expired.

Fast forward, I got four brand new tires, not up to two weeks am experiencing the same thing, they all go down gradually. Am sure of the new tires as original, but why must I always pump all four tires?

Some like the prepaid meters and ultra-high storey building deals are investments that the Chinese will make profits from the sale of meters and spaces respectively. Others like the Abuja-Kano-Lagos expressway are credit lines that Nigeria would have to pay back in due course because China cannot just dash us $1b (cost of the project) like that, especially when there is no tolling.

B. The article said $6b. You did not read the article and you jumped to comment.

C. The point is not if half bread is better than none, it is that we are getting palm kernel when we need bread. Nigeria has a deficit of $11b (N2.2t) in our 2016 budget. The projects and the salaries there need cash. If China is not giving us cash loan and IMF is not giving us cash loan, then we are very screwed. Our only option is treasury bills/bonds, but Nigeria cannot raise any significant amount from issuing bills/bonds because we have lost our J.P Morgan and Stanley ratings and will soon lose MCPI rating.

Investments are not substitutes of cash loans. They are meant to be additions.

Dangote went to China and got $2b cash loan. Buhari went there and got $0 cash loan and $6b worth of verbal investments. The same China made investment commitments under GEJ to build three refineries to the tune of $23b. Where are the refineries today? And we know that GEJ was closer to China than Buhari.

We should realize that some of those investments will not materialize. One thing I am sure about is that had GEJ gone to China for cash loan, he would have gotten it. Buhari went to negotiate loan without his finance minister, this is the result.

Buhari and Nigeria is bleeped. Let him pray Oil rises to $60, if not Nigeria will fall into recession.

Dude, it's not a loan, that explains the absence of the finance minister and the presence of the investment minister. The money is coming in as Chinese investment in which they will recoup by way of tolls. The investments proposed are going into revenue generating infrastructure, which even the government doesn't pay, rather we all pay by joining the train services

Yes. I had my first interview on 2nd February in PH at the branch in Isaac Boro Park. Was called for another one on the 11th February in Abj. We had 2 interviews that day sef, in 2different branches. Was sent a link to do the online psychometric test and also invited for medicals.
