It should get there by next week
Then it will spend two weeks there for stamping
Afterwhich it would be returned back to VFS Accra then VFS abuja the courier pickup..
So we have about 4weeks to go

N.B The waiting wasn't easy but kept trusting God and keeping myself busy. For those waiting it will definitely come because what God cannot do doesn't exist.
IF you urgently need to travel especially with all going on I advise you send passport directly to Accra or Egypt. It took 6weeks for my passport to be returned. However, if not in a rush Lagos or Abuja VAC is fine.

I sent my passport to Lagos vfs on 15th of last month. They acknowledged with the code on 18th, up till now its still in transit. What do I do pls? Must they take 6 weeks? Nigerian factor in everything Nigerian.

Let's do a quick arithmetic. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

When I was in school; a top tier federal university, the average number of students in each class was 120.

That's 120 X 4 = 480 students.
School fees was roughly 60 000.
480 X 60,000= 28,800,000

We had MSC students, with an average of 30 for each of the two classes.
That's 30 X 2 = 60 students
School fees was 100,000
60 X 100,000 = 6,000,000

There was the part time programme that had an average of 150 students for each of the 5 classes.
150 X 5 = 750 students
School fees was 75,000
75000 X 750 = 56,250,000

There was the 2yr diploma programme too. Here you may find 50 students for each of the 2 classes.
50 X 2= 100 students
School fees was 40,000
40,000 X 100 = 4,000,000

The above gives roughly 100,000,000 in annual school fees.

The above is just the basics. I'm not even accounting for Sandwich, PreScience PhD etc.

For a department with roughly 20 lecturer with, perhaps 2 professors.
Let's peg the average salary at 250,000.

That's 5,000,000 for salary each month.
60,000,000 in salary for a year.

Mind you, this same dept generated over 100m from fees in the same year. Thereby leaving the dept with over 50m after paying school fees.

There are tens of departments in a Federal university.

If we are to multiply the 50m by 50 departments, this leaves the university with 2.5b yearly.

Mind you, apart from the science courses who may need to get lab equipments, other departments basically only spend on salaries.

This is what I've been asking.
Where does university sch fee payments go to?
To the university? Ok, what do they use it for?
To the govt? Ok, how much do they send back to the sch?

I sent mine through lagos vfs on 8th Feb and got an update yesterday that it arrived Accra.

Does it mean when they send you tracking code and that your doc is in Trans they are lying?

What we are doing in Nigeria is not IT abeg. Not a single tech invention. What we are doing is replicate what has already been invented by the white. Everything needed to make anything related to IT is traced to US. This can't be said about China.
