Thanks for your responses. Please you guys should take a look at this.
First picture is the PhD admission requirement for UNIBEN : 60% or cgpa of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0
Second picture is the PhD admission requirement for UNN: cgpa of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 or weighted average of 60%
Why is the requirement for admission into PhD in economics always high compared to other courses? In my masters class of 30 at Uniport only 5 made the requisite 4. On a scale of 5 to proceed to phd

When you see a president give just one man Ministry of Power, Works and Housing. Do you need a priest to tell you thats the man the president is well pleased with

I just hope Buhari does the sanitizing of corruption by 2023 hand over to the competent Babatunde Raji Fashola
That will be the real end of Nigeria if an ibo man doesn't emerge president by 2019

Politics › Re: We Have Declared Ambode Enemy Of Ndigbo – Ohanaeze by slydog(m): 5:10pm On Jan 11, 2016

The apex socio-Igbo cultural organization, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has declared Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode as number one enemy of Ndigbo.

The development is sequel to the demolition of Oshodi market, which is believed to be largely occupied by Ndigbo on the first week of the New Year.

Speaking at a press briefing in Enugu on Monday, the national President of the Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, alongside the National Secretary, Okwu Nnabuike said Ambode by his actions had drawn a battle line between himself and the entire Igbo land.

While describing the demolition as “an action done in bad faith”, the group wondered why the Lagos State Government should carry out such act at a time when it clearly knew that the owners of the shops were in their villages for the Christmas and the New Year festivities.

He said, “it is instructive to observe here that contrary to all principles of common justice, the traders were merely given few days quit notice. It is equally shocking that the government chose such a wrong time for the demolition exercise, thereby not only taking the shops from them but making sure that their wares were looted.

“We are forced to ask: could this be the starting point in implementing Oba of Lagos’s earlier threat during the election period that Ndigbo would be thrown into the Lagoon? Could it be another round of deportation of exercise, similar to what former governor Fashola did? These appear to be so considering that a witch cried in the night and a child died in the morning.”

While maintaining that the Lagos State Government’s action was a threat to the unity of the country, he demanded for adequate compensation of the traders who had suffered great losses as a result of the demolition.

He stressed that “it is quite inhuman for people’s means of livelihood to be taken away from them in such a manner. The government’s claim that arms were recovered from a section of the market does not fly at all here because it cannot be a reason for such a wicked treatment purely targeted on a particular people.

“We demand that the Governor of Lagos State should direct relevant government agencies to adequately compensate these traders; anything short of that, Ndigbo will henceforth regard the Governor as their number one arch-enemy.”

Romance › Re: 6 Things Women Notice The First Time They Meet A Man. by slydog(m): 12:08pm On Dec 31, 2015
KimBerlyie:
Meeting a new guy can be as exhilarating as it is daunting. For him to be bae, he has to meet the approval of your mates, your family and more importantly and first on the list- you! So if you are wondering if the little things you just have to tick off your list after he says hello are important then compare your list to ours!

1) His appearance.

We are finicky about the way he looks. We want a man who breathes swag! He doesn't have to wear very expensive clothes but his clothes should fit him and be a good match and his sense of style should be good enough to keep us interested.

2) His time piece!

A good wristwatch speaks volumes. It says he is classy, he has good taste and he can afford to splurge so our eyes never miss the sparkle beneath his sleeve!

3) His breath!

Fresh breath is a must-have. Bad breath is a deal breaker any day and any man who is oblivious to the smell emanating from his mouth will be oblivious to other things that are very important to us besides how can we even bear to respond to his hello when his breath is hostile?

4) His diction!

Good English is a must. A man who can't construct a proper sentence without burning our ears will never be bae! Where would we even start from? How on earth would we communicate or introduce him to other sapiosexuals?

5) His manners!

We want prince charming and not an ogre in a nice suit! If he can't be decent to the strangers around him and acts rude, brash or entitled or less than the gentleman he ought to be then he definitely won't make the cut! Chivalry isn't dead!

6) His scent

There's nothing quite as heavenly as a man who smells good. The scent of his cologne mixing with his manly scent just makes our pheromones gush! On the other hand a man who smells sweaty, icky or pungent is an immediate turn off.

So which of these have you crossed off your list today? If he doesn't make first cut, there's no point probing deeper!

Same old same old, after all the noise, EFCC charges them to court on weak terms, they are granted bail and we never hear anything again till the courts throw it out in two years time and the charade continues.
Till the day the EFCC secures the conviction of a major Politically exposed person PEP, I would continue to doubt their efficacy. It doesn't matter who is in charge, Ribadu, Lamorde, Waziri or Magu.
Buhari just appointed new judges, be patient and see if cases will die naturally again

The way you guys use the word clueless is like you think you have dropped one big grammar.. I don't have time for conspiracy talks.. If you have proof to show that Erdogan is a terrorist you can drop it here instead of typing jargons.. Putin is not exacting any revenge.. Putin is scared.. He didn't see this coming and He knows this is a set up from NATO to treat his Bleep up.. Even Obama's statement of turkey having the right to defend its airspace speaks volume.. And he knows he has no reliable ally right now to stand NATO force.. So the earlier you stop seeing him like a god, the better for you guys
With what Putin did in Ukraine, this is a NATO set up. They certainly won't fight Putin in Europe but will fight him in d middle east

They say capital adequacy. What makes capital to be eroded?
It may shock you, but Think of the banks that have had their fingers burnt due to excessive lending to the oil sector and are unable to recoup back as much as they've lenses. It will lead to them making excessive provisioning for such loans, and where is the money for provisioning coming fromhuh??
Think......
To make matters worst, the CBN also instructed banks to double provisioning on performing loans, you can imagine the impact of this on such already constrained banks......
