Eat when hungry, eat healthily, eat more proteins and fats (animals products usually contain fats or nuts), sleep well, and drink a lot of water. Keep it simple, it's a game of consistency, and more of how long can you hold, or make it a lifestyle. If you stay on it long enough, it should become a lifestyle and you will have almost superhuman strength.
