There's a possibility that someone who's very hungry will test positive; if not to COVID-1-9, they'll test positive to HUGVID-20. Dear @FMOH @NCDC, please make sure they taste something before you test them. It'll make the test more reliable. And please NCDC, stop sending me multiple sms in a day. I'm not the only one who needs to stay safe. There's love in sharing. Please send some of the messages to others. I'll be alright with one message.

Daum: While staying indoors because of Covid 19, my mind flashed back to my visit to a Village about 10 years ago.
One night, we were outside as always and there was no moonlight so everywhere was dark just some few local lamp on. We were seated outside with a man in his 70s and he was telling us some stories.
There was this local dog opposite us just lying down. After a while she started barking. At first we thought she was just disturbing but the dog stood up and was barking continuously facing a particular direction. What caught my interest was how she walked towards that direction and stood there barking.
Later she stopped but she lied down there. Less than 10 minutes again she stood up like she heard something and started backing again, this time we were concerned, we pointed our torch light at the direction but we couldn't see anything, it was then the old man told us to relax, that the dog knows why it is barking. She probably had seen an evil spirit or witch and as long as she keeps barking, the spirit can't come close.
Has anyone had a similar experience before?
It's only a dog that can answer this your question oo. Except there is someone here who has existed as a dog before. Anyway, lemmie wait patiently. Who knows, ...
Medical Director, Las Vegas Pain Institute, Dr Godwin Maduka has through his Foundation, commenced cash transfer to hundreds of widows in Anambra and beyond as part of measures to stem the biting hardship occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is in addition to other palliative measures he has rolled out for the 21 LGAs in Anambra state to care for the poor and people who bear the pain of the lockdown during this challenging times.
The program powered by Godwin Maduka Foundation sends instant cash of N10,000 randomly to widows after answering some questions and identification through a live phone-in programme in a popular radio station based in Onitsha.
Dr Maduka in a remark said the gesture is part of his personal contributions to see that the negative effect of the Covid- 19 on the economy do not hit so hard on the most vulnerable
He said the cash transfer is an initiative to reach out to as many widows who because of the lockdown are unable to be part of his food stuff distribution in the state
In a recent article he sent in from US , Maduka has urged wealthy Individuals to support government in their quest to care for the sick and weak in the society. According to him, this is a time to care, love and a time to spread hope.
When Jesus arose from the dead, what was his nature: a GHOST or a PHYSICAL BODY?
Using biblical accounts, he zoomed through the wall — that could never been a fleshly body.
He suddenly appeared to a certain duo of disciples — again, that must have been a ghost.
But Thomas touched his hands — that could never be a ghost: he was a physical body.
He had a meal with the disciples — that must have been a fleshly body as spirits don't eat physical meals.
And when he ascended into the skies, what happened to his garment? Pulverized? Or removed, folded and kept neatly in a ward robe in the heavens to be worn again when he's returning in the second coming
You see, some things are actually very simple to understand but some minds are actually very shallow to even understand why a baby wears diapers.
If it's one native doctor disappearing and reappearing in people's homes even when the doors are locked, you'd have understood and clapped. It's Odeshii. The man is powerful! You see, you're already shaking your head! Why can't you understand that ALL POWER BELONGS TO GOD!! Everything that a herbalist, juju man or whatever you call them can do is just a fragment of what God can do! Is that really rocket science? Even if it were, should I still tell you that the scientific scientifica scientist is GOD Himself? The giver of all knowledge! The one who reveals and shadows!!
Why don't you open up your mind to the holy Spirit and see the light that you've been shutting out? It's all for free. This is an opportunity, a very great one. Please take it. May the blessings of the resurrection of Jesus Christ locate you today as you resolve to accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour. I come in peace!!
Well, I just hope that coronavirus disabled it's fangs today when the lockdown was lifted. Nigerian leadership is funny. This is why people come up with conspiracy theories of the virus being a hoax. Why relax a lockdown in the first place? If you must relax a lockdown, you may as well let people go to church on Sunday. Or will coronavirus go into hiding today and resurface tomorrow?
The people who arrested him didn't hear well. The man meant soldier of the cross. He was going to meet his team for the cross carrying on Good Friday. Please let him go.
Anyway, I don't blame him. When scam is everywhere, people tend to do stupid stuff. Sorry man, you got busted!
Even those who are not located in Nigeria - according to their profile - are now complaining of electricity reaching prepaid meter users or not. Please are you people using our light via 5G? Make una dey fear God oo!
Hope they'll carry small akpalakpala along oo because some responses they'll receive will shock them if the prospective respondents don't see any light at the end of the hallway. The condition has long passed be careful oo.
whizqueen: My friend sent me this thread last night but I had too much to say so here we go.
I (A Nigerian girl living in Canada) will be responding to the OP's points and some other comments I found on the thread.
Are Nigerian Ladies in Canada lonely? Ofcourse we are! Are Nigerian girls in NIGERIA lonely? Hell yeah!!! Are Nigerian girls in other countries lonely? Absolutely!!!!! Being lonely is not a factor of location or person. It's about not finding the right friends/partner you vibe with.
Why did we immigrate? Bros are you kidding me? Canadian govt is paying me $2000 monthly and other benefits for losing income due to covid-19 Is that happening in Naija right now? All the money donated by philanthropist in Nigeria would soon disappear into the thin air without our govt giving explanation of any sort. Ofcourse, it's not bed of roses abroad neither were we expecting a man wrapped in a gift bag but please don't let your sentiments cloud your reasoning as to why people make immigration decisions abeg.
I personally feel attacked I recently posted a video on my YouTube Channel about finding love & online dating in Canada. It's asif this hope saw my video and wanted to attack me
What makes you think we would be interested in you to begin with? Don't pride yourself too much plis dear
If you like let the OP influence your decision and stop you from chasing your immigration dreams, last last it's up to you to decide what you want for your future.
Whilst I would agree with growing together with your partner and building with them. I think it's just shallow minded of anyone in this age and time to ask for women to chase marriage first before career. Marriage is not the ultimate not everyone sees marriage as an achievement. These days, if you crave for sex so much, you can pay someone to do it or get yourself a Love Machine, if you want a child, you can literally just buy a sperm and save yourself lots of stress. Most of us are yet to keep an open mind to these things, however if you want something badly there;s always a way to get it.
Most Nigerian men hate to see it happen, there are laws that protect women here and they would prefer dying single than to see women as their equals. A good number of them are control freaks and would rather their woman be at their beck and call for everything as opposed to having their marriage work as a partnership. Nigerian married man knowing the laws of the land will still go ahead and cheat on his wife with a girl living in the same condo with his wife. Una no even dey fear or respect una madam. If atall you really want to cheat, you cannot travel to Nigeria and secretly mess with girls that fancy IJGB crew or allen avenue. As expected, some women do exploit the situation but if you find yourself a god-fearing person and you do the right thing, no divorce laws or child custody issue would stop y'all from flourishing.
White men dont find us attractive? Laughs is Swahili On the contrary most men of other races have FETISH for Nigerian girls and Black girls in general. Maybe not long term in all cases tho but they reaaaaaaally fancy us and admire our enthusiasm towards life. Whilst most Nigerian girls would likely not wanna go for the likes of 'Ryan', 'Billy' and co it's not cos we don't find them attractive. Firstly, Naija guys are smart, intelligent and goal oriented. You see the average ones already have plans for their future and working towards it unlike the counterparts who are comfortable with just a high school degree. If a Naija guy is even into technical jobs he would try to be the best at it and work towards starting his own company in the near future. Secondly, coping with someone with a different culture, lifestyle, food, etc is honestly stressful. I was talking with one Persian guy and he said before we can kiss or hold hands, we have to be temporarily married. The other chinese guy is only about 5ft tall, I'm just wondering what he would look like in that department
In Nigeria, when you visit a guy at home, some would expect you to know that's express ticket to get laid with them. But here if you visit a guy at home, you can be almost certain that if you guys have sex it's cos you wanted it, no guy will try to lure or manipulate you to straff them or tell you when you came to my house what were you thinking. They know it's important to ask for your opinion or even avoid the whole situation altogether.
Something the OP failed to address is that the Loneliness spans across both men and women living in Diaspora. Even the white people find it hard getting a partner for themselves much less an immigrant that would probably take some time to fully settle in. The system is built to have everyone mind their business, that togetherness or family-spirit is missing.
All the naija guys and ladies in Toronto have finish dating themselves. It's such a small city, everyone knows eachother thru another person only a matter of time before you find out that; the guy toasting you is ex with your colleagues' friend. Or the guy you matched with on the dating app went on a date with your housemate the day before. Some would be married and they would be on the dating apps lying to other women.
Some of us don't even mind going back home to bring men here, but 'em guys just they find paper. Only few genuinely love and care for you. I kuku know people here already do that as business tho, some ladies/guys now charge up to $30,000 to marry people from home to help them get residency here.
There are tons of Nigerians in Canada groups on WhatsApp and Telegram some are just for singles and you find people of age 35, 40, etc filled with both women and MEN. Some guys eventually resort to going back home to marry the less exposed girls, but guess what happens once they reach YYZ airport? Oh well your guess is as good as mine. Their eyes go open finish.
A good number of Naija guys are single and desperately finding love as well as ladies. Truth is, we all crave for love. And that's not a bad thing to want. Finding a good match or significant other is a honestly a game of chance. Home and Abroad, White or Black race finding a partner is truly difficult and if you got lucky finding that one special person, you better love and cherish them truly.
I rest my case; I am in the comment section waiting for someone to jump on my mention and before you do so just remember: Opinions are like as5holes and everyone is entitled to one. So this is my opinion, I have free time today
I can't believe I actually read this post from beginning to end and even wanted to read it again! Me who is always waiting for summary of Epistles now reading this. Well... Your write-up is interesting. Honestly I didn't read the earlier write-up. When I saw the topic, I just strolled by. Reason: Attributing loneliness to women alone - whether home or abroad, black or white - is a big misfire. Well, my opinion? Please write another post!
I'm tempted to believe that the selection of this MBGN thing goes beyond the normal qualifications of being really the most beautiful. If this person I'm seeing here (no offense intended) actually won the MBGN crown, then one of these three things happened. 1. The contestants in that edition were all wack. 2. The judges were drunk at the time of selection 3. Majority of the judges were male and they tasted something else in her that may be truly very beautiful. Don't ask me what that thing is. Except you're ready to smell your eyes.

Nice one op. But wait make I ask you this question... Where you dey whe you take snap this pictures? (A) For your house dey obey lock down (B) For road dey disobey lock down. (C) I no wan talk where I dey.
If we talk now, they'll say we're insulting our leaders. Why in Pete's name should a minister say something like this? Why? So because Aviation is in the exclusive list, a governor should allow aircrafts to fly in disease into his state? Didn't the pilots know that there's border closure in the start? Why didn't they at least seek clearance from the chief executive of the state into which they intend to fly in? May be I am the one who's not understanding the drama here? Someone should please clarify this for me!
Today, I joined the Governor of Lagos @jidesanwoolu, the Comissioner for information @gbenga_omo, CEO of gtbank, Segun Agbaje and other dignitaries to Comission the 110 bed spaces for COVID19 Lagos Isolation centre at Moboliji Johnson stadium, Onikan.
The isolation centre donated by @gtbank and @africa_finance begins operations today, 8 March, 2020 with 7 patients on admission. No fewer than 60 medical personnel and support staff of @followlasg with expertise have been deployed to the facility.
8 March? So I has been commissioned a month ago and they were still constructing it last week? Or is this a typo? @Mediarero
Great! Thank you Obiano. Other states should please follow. People must eat to stay alive.
