It's now obvious why some people failed English language during their SSCE. They have no idea what summary is. If you read all that thing up there, you deserve to be an arsenal fan because patience runs in your generation. Summary please |
Oluromantic: Mavrick2012: 7:22amFirst, your quotation of Malachi 3:10 is misleading. The correct provision of that verse says: "bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house. Notice the word storehouse. Hope you know what is kept in a storehouse? Now why did I bring forth the two posts? The original intention of tithing is for there to be food in the storehouse. True. Tithes are meant to be used to feed orphans, widows and the less privileged. True. Now what's the connection? The special care for the poor was passed from the Jews to the church (Deut. 14:27-29). That means this category of people are supposed to go to the house of God to be cared for. The tithe (food) you take to the storehouse in the house of God is to be used to take care of the needy and nothing else. In Acts 6, the early church selected seven men to care for a large population of widows—providing food for them. In Galatians 2:9-10, when the apostles gave Paul and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, they urged them to go to the Gentiles with the gospel but also for them to remember the poor. James, Christ’s brother, also taught the need for caring for widows in James 1:27. He said, “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their misfortune and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” True saving faith provides for those in distress (cf. Matt 25:32-46). I can go on and on and on... Hear this brethren, until a church builds a storehouse and uses the tithes brought into the storehouse to cater for the widows, orphans and less privileged, no church gets my tithes. Someone may probably be thinking: this one is not a Christian. Forget him. Hey! I am a practicing and a tithing Christian. I take my tithes to those who God has instructed us to feed with our tithes. And do you know the risk you stand by neglecting those who really need yours tithes? Read Exodus 22:22-24. Tithing, as well as how to tithe is a personal decision. Whatever works for you, do it. My submission is not intended to discredit any person or group of persons. It is just the truth and it must be told. Happy Sunday to you all. |
bluefilm:Oh my! I understand your frustrations. Oh yes, I do! And you know what? Get well soon bro! |
pyyxxaro:Bundesliga it is! |
Nonso92:As in eh! I'm still trying to figure out how that is. Like wtf are they struggling for? Well... Maybe the snake has two stomachs oo. |
Dpharisee:Television teaching won't work. Reason: It's just a broadcast. That's not teaching. For teaching to take place, 1. the educator must have a conversation with the learner. 2. The learner must be assigned tasks that would be returned to the educator and feedback sent to the learner. 3. The educator must design the learning structure to match the interest, ability and pace of the learner. 4. The teaching must be centred on the learner not a case of a teacher displaying his/her knowledge. And lots more... How to access this kind of learning experience for your child? Worry no more! You aren't married to her yet. So take a chill pill and relax. She has other boos. The best one will win. If you want to have her, be the best to her. |
Akaegwu:Are you for real? They post says major and you said general. Like seriously! Major is the 4th rank in the officers cadre. After the rank of Major, he'll be promoted to Lt. Colonel, before Colonel, before brigadier general, before major general. So you see, the 40 year old niggur is still far away from becoming a major general! |
chiemmanuel:Hehehehe.... You guys don't understand what hedonister is doing. Remember the internet doesn't forget. OP doesn't want to hear things like these after his departure from this beautiful world: "My daddy never drove a car during his entire lifetime". "My daddy never lived in Lagos". |
sassysure:You really read that? Wow! I'm impressed! |
nonyofor2:They've discussed with the owners of the virus. Vaccines and micro chips are on their way. The sense we didn't have during the election, we'll soon have it. Unfortunately, it'll be useless sense. Welcome to the giant of Africa!! |
With the way Buhari is taking loans up and down, 2023 presidential election may have no reasonable candidate. |
CodeTemplar:You mean the 8th shekau? |
sulaak:Laughable! You obviously didn't see the part where I advised that you keep politics aside and be objective. So because he's trying to be president, he has become extraordinary. Hmmmm... It may interest you to know that Gotel is into business and has a management team which make structural, operational and related decisions. Every company may come to a point when they'll need to restructure at one time or another. Moreso, with the prevailing economic realities, restructuring is the least unexpected of any company's activity. Many organisation have either cut down their staff strength, many are doing so and many more companies will do the same. It's just a matter of time. About 75% of Access Bank staff are currently facing disengagement. Even those who'll be retained may have to accept a pay cut. That's the same access bank that had 1 billion to spare. So you see... It's not about who wants to president or whatever. It's about reality and the sustainability of business. Like I said before, it's really very sad that people are losing their jobs in the midst of increasing responsibilities. My prayers are with them. |
Nigerians!! Is AAA a magician? British Airways is laying off 12,000 of its staff and people are here calling Gotel names for downsizing in the face of glaring circumstances. Let's try to leave politics aside for once and be humans. I'm not happy that people are losing their jobs. But we must realize that no matter how rich anyone is, business is always business. |
IamCookie:Cute thing you didn't take offence. Hi Cookie. How's Lucious? |

What's happening in this country ooo!? What am I even saying! Am I a stranger? Oyo received spoilt rice from FGN. They rejected it and told the truth. Ondo received spoilt rice from FGN. Someone blew the whistle, but they changed the tone and said it's just a few bags (about 10%) that were spoilt. Now Benue has received spoilt beans. The whistle has been blown. The governor is going to investigate. I'm even wondering what's there to investigate about whether beans is spoilt or not. Hope they won't be setting up committees and calling witnesses to testify? Hope they won't be adjourning the sitting and reviewing testimonies? Hope the won't declare the trucks of beans missing or having been swallowed by ? Hope rats won't invade the location of the beans and take some out of it? Anyway, this is Nigeria... ...where police station dey close by *** for s******* reasons. Welcome to Nigeria, the Land of my birth!! |
Julietsim:Best thing to do is to start dressing like an expired woman. Unparallel wrappers, big blouses or gowns (the Lord's Chosen specs), unkept hair, wear bogus pants. But please oh... Don't come back here to shout that your husband is cheating on you. |
Damn it!! This people are missing their sitting allowances already. The sit-at-home order is affecting everyone. If they decide to open their workshop, PMB should also allow others Nigerian to do the same. We also need our hustle allowance ooo! |
justwise:I wondered too. |
Racoon:For the emergence of an even worse tyrant; his sister! |
His disinfectant, his injection, his America, his damn business!! We have our own problems to contend with, for Pete's sake!! Hunger in the land. Theft everywhere. Mass employee sack. Crippled businesses. Government's mischievousness. Citizen's stubbornness. National insincerity. How many can I even mention!! Trump can give Americans Formaldehyde and Glutaraldehyde as tea for all I care!! So long Nigerians aren't coerced to take it. I'm just angry!!! |
ElasticStone: ElasticStone:I hope someone can see the bolded. ElasticStone be careful! be careful!! Before we turn you to plastic sand now. Op do you copy? |
Olofin2:I'll comment when I'm married. I don't want to say what I don't know. |
Simplyleo:The still won't benefit my brother. They'll see the account transaction history. FG is actually going to look at the transaction history to three months, January - March as the criteria. They simply don't want to give money to anyone. How do they expect someone who's income is #5k and below at any given time to even operate a bank account? For what? |
Ghenghen!! |
Hia!! Fire fire fire everywhere! Hope COVID-19 is not flammable oo!! |
You can woo her afresh (re-toast her). After all, movies do have part 2. Good luck with part 2 anyway. Go back at your own risk. |
