donbachi:what of it the terrorists asked the victims to taste the meals first, or you think those heartless evil ones are fools ? just pray not to enter into such a confusing situation, with your loved ones. |
abegi, ministers or no ministers, not my main problems for now. pls, my beloved nairalanders and kind hearted Nigerians, am in deep financial mess that could cost me a life, due to time -factor involved, therefore i need your kind assistance, no amount is too small. the urgency involved, as regards the situation, made me to swallow my pride, and seek for help. may God never allow us to face a confusing situation in our lifetime journeys. this is my account number: 0016657356. Gtbank. |
Sangoamadioha1:but what is so bad in a military regime that's not obtainable with this your so-called democracy ? do we even have democracy in the real Sense of it ? democracy without rule of law and accountability, is no more a democracy, but a plutocracy at best. |
lol. because you met her on the field of play if not, you could have still married her even as a runs girls. some of the so-called born again ladies in the church looking for husband were actually ex-runs girls that repented. everything depends on convictions, could she be convinced enough to seek for a genuine repentance? if she's good enough for you to lay with , then they she should be good enough for you to have serious relationship, before thinking of marriage. things happen to people, and twist their true nature, therefore know her background first. |
Bobloco:lol. because it's like peter Obi, actually won the elections, that's why they were scared stiff of facing the tsunami again. they are aware that , its a walk -over with Atiku as the only challenger. but it's not them that will tell the court what to do. |
Op. you are right in saying that Nigeria is now the survival of the fittest scenarios, but you are totally wrong in assuming that Igbos could be invisible to the economic woes of the nation. some Igbos are even more poorer than other people from other regions . am an Igbo man and i know how we are suffering now, like every other average nigerians, due to government bad policies . you sound like Igbos have the secret ways of plucking money, out of abnormal system like Nigeria. for example, in the past I used to be of help to my neighbors, but now i can hardly meet up with my responsibilities. infact, recently for the first time in decades, i begged an old time friend for financial help, who was shocked and never believed me , of course he himself is equally stranded financially, without my knowledge, all thanks to government bad policies. Nigeria government is ignorantly killing her citizens through incompetence. we are all suffering the same heats ! |
lol . why protests ? as for me and my family, friends and lovely ones, no more protests. nigerians are still breathing tribalism and religious bigotry , therefore any protest will not scratch the surface of the problem. moreover Oga bubu and his gang actually messed up the system, that one cannot honestly expect president BAT to magically transform the system within 2 months . though am afraid the new government started on a wrong note by pursuing fast paced sensitive policies, without putting equivalent platforms to cushion the effects. |
Zandena:but these are different scenarios. IDP camp situation is quite different from accidental issues. what is the job of the government of the day, you voted for ? why insulting a private citizen who is only showing empathy to your fellow citizens in problem. ? |
clinician2x:leave them, the next coming fuel increase and its attendant inflations should be enough punishment for their nauseating stupidity. 😂😂😂 |
Fujiyama:highly scary and disgusting situations indeed. |
Nigerians keep shouting palliatives, palliatives, but were is the funds for effective palliatives ? the little palliatives that the government had wanted to give out, is even a borrowed amount from the world Bank. assuming that you receive 8k as palliatives every month, what are you going to do with it ? the surplus that the government may get from subsidy removal, how much of it could benefit the poor masses of Nigeria ? |
you asking phcn not to increase tarrifs, even when everything is increasing, of which they have to increase their workers salary and also their cost of running things have also increased. if phcn listen to you guys, then nigerians should be ready for constant darkness, all year round . is it not hypocrisy that you people can't cut down your costs as sacrifice for the national good, but want others to do so.. though it's just a suggestion, because nerc or no nerc, phcn will not listen. |
GeneralPula:( all those intemperate attacks against the new government of president tinubu should stop) says bayo Onanuga. |
That's one thing I hated about Nigeria politicians, their archaic insensitivity. expecting nigerians to be suffocating silently while they are busy living luxurious lifestyles, devoid of any form of austerity measures. who told these politicians that transparent subsidy is bad ? who told these politicians that any serious government in Nigeria can never build functionable refineries within a stipulated time frame, instead of impoverishing the citizens through pms importation ? every nation subsidize one thing or the other to the benefits of their poor citizens, except Nigeria nation that subsidize only the luxurious lifestyles of their already rich ruling class . Mr Onanuga, nigerians will continue to disturb your Oga at the top, because nobody send am message to be the president of the federation, instead he strived with emilokan entitlement and he got the presidency. moreover there's absolutely no loyalty in a state of hunger, because a hungry man is an angry man . Mr Onanuga, ask your Oga to build new functionable local refineries and stop all these senseless fuel importation, by a supposedly 6th most producer of crude oil in the world . without local refineries, no amount of Peanuts your Oga planned to give nigerians can mitigate these ugly situations. |
Fujiyama:lol. i never chose politics over economics, because i never supported APC because i already knew that nothing good can come from APC 's crooked and riotous mis-rule, but I was hoping that president BAT could perform better than Oga bubu - the cattle dealer , given all the hype of tinubu developed Lagos. |
stacyadams:bros, i can really feel you, but what can one do ? the way average nigerian play politics, extolling tribalism and religious affiliation, over their own well-being is really frustrating to say the least , i think the international community ought to do serious study on the self-inflicted injuries of nigerians on themselves repeatedly through clanish politics. the few of us warning them of the negative implications of government misrule, were termed, wailers, children of hate e.t.c. now, e don set . but regrettably everyone will feel the impact. |
LagosFirstSon:lol. but these you guys projections are actually laughable, because nobody is free from the ill-effects of misrule. Igbos are not an island unto themselves, because the hostile environment also affect them. e.g. every body including Igbos will have to pay school fees, 3x the normal amount. transportation 2x the normal amount to the south east. moreover not every Igbos, engage in buying and selling. let's join hands to pressurize this government to stop this senseless venture of pms importation and build new functionable refineries, because we are all victims of any misrule in Nigeria. |
Angelfrost:with the fluctuations of naira currency and the constant increase of the price of crude oil in international market, we should actually be expecting to be purchasing fuel at #1k per litre, before December 2023, except the government can end this foolish dependency on pms importation. how can a country blessed with massive natural resources of crude oil, be importing fuel for local consumption ? Corruption is gradually killing Nigeria. |
TERMlNATOR:bros, this level don pass that of wyning, you need to see their frustration , written over their faces in south west here. it's like nobody is smiling any more in Nigeria presently. the government need to build functionable refineries asap, and stop these senseless importation of pms. if dangote can build a refinery, I wonder why it's too difficult for the federal government of Nigeria to do so. even sharing of peanuts to nigerians as palliatives, can not solve the problem, that's if the peanuts were not hijacked by the voluptuous corrupt political elites. i just hope Oga tinubu will not disappoint our great expectations of him, as a man of famous political experience and sagacity. FG - let the masses breath , abeg . |
just hope that price increases will favour the lives of nigerians and their families, as some gullible nigerians are always chanting. |
Lutherblaq:lol. indeed the dogs and the baboons of nigerians actually soaked in blood and are still soaking in blood, since the emergency of that cow-dealer as our irresponsible president. |
funny though, sponsoring bandits to a holy land . what were the bandits going to do in a holy land ? are they going to be thanking God for a successful business of kidnapping and inflicting pains on his humanity ? |
ok. yet some people will still be advocating for one Nigeria, like I used to, but I have lost hope of the fantasy one Nigeria, because of all these iniqualities and injustices in the system. asari - dokubu must know that, time levels all men, and the best and strong men are still men at best . |
hisgrace090:don't mind them, they subsidize every of their luxurious lifestyles, and that's excluding their lootings while propagating that the impoverished nigerians without waists should continue to tighten their belt. |
Flets:exactly. the major problem with Nigeria, is that the rich political elites always avoid confronting themselves, over any crimes they had committed, instead they pass over the bitter pills for the impoverished nigerians to swallow, in the name of a fantasy better tomorrow, that will never come. funny enough, nigerians always swallow the pills and the lies, but still remain in the same precarious situation. crooked political elites are the major problem of Nigeria. if they have not been paying subsidy, since 2016, where's the money going to, and why disturbing the masses ? |
Viraltrends123:lol. but in the south east, nobody will threaten you for organizing Islamic program, but the attendance level will amount to a mockery excercise, that will discourage you. |
EleventhWeirdo:there is nothing to resolve here because the Nigeria constitution supercede every other laws. but impunity is the order of the day by the so-called owners of Nigeria nation. |
Emperormartin:in Nigeria a secular state ? |
helinues:now you are talking, because the amount of money government officials are wasting legally and illegally is more than enough to fix Nigeria economy without over-burdening the masses. but the same political elites are subsidizing all their needs, while asking the impoverished nigerians to keep making sacrifices for a better tomorrow, meanwhile their fantasy tomorrow will never come in the midst of the prevalent misrule, corruption and opulence of the ruling political elites. |
NzogbuNzogbu:legalized masses suffering, meanwhile legalized the luxurious lifestyles of the ruling political elites . was that how the developed nations succeeded in developing their nations, without the serious commitment and sacrifice of the ruling political elites. just dey play there. Nigeria is a criminal enterprise, that must be pulled down for a new decent enterprise that will benefit all nigerians, and the political elites must be totally involved, if they are seriously serious about changing the system . sacrifices of the poor and the downtrodden, while under the irresponsible leadership of the highly inept, greedy and corrupt political elites, can ever positively change any nation. pls stop comparing Nigerians with other developed and law-abiding nations, except we get the leadership question right. but for now, we just dey play as a nation. |
Kukutenla:you funny oooo. what of, if the suffer kill them before that their fantasy tomorrow comes ? |
Parachoco:the man is not saying anything tangible, because they are even reaping off nigerians by selling pre-subsidy fuel at the price of post- subsidy fuel, so there's nothing like crash of prices here, but rather a confession of economic crimes against nigerians. until the new arrivals of pms before we will know, if the price have indeed crashed. stop supporting these people's senseless propaganda, that's useless to nigerians. |

Our suffering at the moment is nothing compared to what will happen if there is some new major crisis anywhere on the globe that significantly affects the price of crude. If supply chains are hit and pms prices rise we will not be able to cope. Fuel prices could easily top 1000 to 1500 Naira per litre if crude oil barrel prices run into high double digits or even triple digits. What will happen then?
Buhari's regime, should be best described, as a huge joke and 8 years of waste. just imagine nigeria without that psychopatic dog as a president.
