lol. what kind of talking can bloody civilians have to do with these hardcore terrorists, alias businessmen bandits, than to negotiate ransom price payment ? what a government, what a country ! |
Antiurchins:Fake news. guy don't be carried away by all these fake news. even Simon ekpa is too small to hold igbos down, if he has a hand in all these atrocities, his days are numbered, except he stop the rubbish. |
am beginning to believe that APC as a party was set up by God to punish nigerians for their penchant for always supporting evils, based on political, religious and tribal affiliations, because only extreme suffering by the masses can be able to break these evil bonds of political, religious and tribal affiliations. this is just the beginning of the sufferings of Nigerians. |
dfrost:exactly. before I used to have my highest respect for this Tunde bakare of a man, because when i was growing up, i used to listen to his gospel telecast every Sunday. but placing his various controversial actions, alongside his sermons, i realized that it's easier said than done. this so-called man of God has been dining and winning with these evil politicians suffocating the masses for years, yet his high breed morality standing cannot even change the evil habbits of these corrupt political elites, but he is still their friend. i don't even know between him and mohbad who will be more acceptable to God in the last day, only God knows. |
hmmm. but can you protect them from heartless criminals, especially the now famous criminal herdsmen attacks ? |
lamentations, lamentations, lamentations, but the journey of 4yrs is just beginning. just loved the manner this reporter circled the nation in this report. north, south , east and west of this Nigeria is feeling the pulse without exceptions. good leadership is very crucial to the well-being of the citizens of any nation, when they get it right they enjoy the benefits, but if they play toxic and tribal politics and get it wrong , the citizens suffer the negative consequences . |
nairalanda1:lol. but even before subsidy there had always been corruption in the system, because there had never been serious punishment for corrupt government officials caught in the practice of corruptions. subsidy only made it More easier for them to practice their trademark of corruption. the basic questions should be; why moribund refineries ? why fuel importation ? why subsidy without proper monitoring ? Corruption is the best answer to all the above basic questions. |
am not even expecting any tangible positive change from APC government, though the Lagos developers are in charge, it makes no difference, because Nigeria is a complicated nation, he may have the best motives at heart but political will to step on big toes by doing the right thing may not be there. it's better we keep the peace of our hearts by not expecting anything from this APC government. |
nairalanda1:but why is it very difficult for the 6th most crude oil producing nation in the world to have functionable refineries ? it's actually corruption and the greediness of the political elites that is killing Nigeria, not the so-called subsidy. every nation subsidize one thing or the other to the benefits of her citizens, but Nigeria 's type of fuel subsidy is abused through the corrupted system of governance . if the FG cannot make the refineries to be productive, even with all the billions spent on turn around maintainance, they have no other options than to subsidize fuel for nigerians, or else pms could soon become the product of the few privileged citizens. |
Which part of Benue do you visited ? because every state in Nigeria also have their own rural settings, and it's not peculiar to Benue state alone. that's why nigerians are agitating for a responsible and accountable government, not all these selfish and highly corrupt system of governance. |
PapaNnamdi:he never asked you to discard anybody for him. the world is big enough for everybody. if you can't help him, why not Keep quite, instead of discouraging him. |
PapaNnamdi:papaNnamdi, what are human beings made for, if not to help each other. moreover the young man is not even begging you for money, but seeking for a job to sustain himself, and I pray he receives the needed connection. the young man is seeking for job, you are mocking him as if you know your tomorrow 's journey, but if God forbids if anything happens to him, people like you will start making hypocritical sympathy. am not sure you are really an ibo man, because we are never callous to shout down on someone that needs help. can you swear that you had never received any help from anybody since birth ? |
TemplarLandry:lol. how will you know if he is telling the truth, especially if you are one of these indomie generations. but check the records you will realize that he is actually telling you the truth. |
inoki247:lol. na waooo for Kano state, the other gomina camp believe so much in looting, infact looting and corruption is never a crime but a pedigree, while the present gomina camp, believe so much in demolition and uncommon fanaticism, infact to this gomina camp, demolition is also a pedigree. demolishing infidels structures is a rightful duty. we are basically watching how things unfold in Kano, but i doubt if Kano state residents will still prefer any of these gomina camps. |
Missing intestine ? hian, what sort of strange news is this ? instead of holding the careless hospital responsible, they say that they are investigating, what are they investigating ? innocent child lost his intestine under your care and you are talking rubbish. Nigeria criminals are really enjoying this ugly system in our national life. that hospital ought to be closed down, until this mystery is resolved . how can a person enter the hospital with a complete body and come out without intestine, and you say that you are investigating ? tufiakwa. Nigerians dey really suffer oooo. |
am just wondering that a nation should have 80% of people of questionable characters as political leaders in governance, shaping the direction of policy thrust of government, yet the citizens are expected to be hopeful and optimistic of a better tomorrow. we are basically watching how such miracle will be manifest in the lives of the gullible citizens. i.e how possible is a better tomorrow when itchy fingers are on the beats of the economic lyrics ? time will tell. |
from quasi subsidy we may still head back to full subsidy, because very few privileged nigerians will be able to afford an extremely expensive pms that could be prevalent without subsidy, except the government do the right thing of refining our fuel locally and put a stop to this shameful and senseless importation of pms outside the country. this government already knew that nigerians have no more stamina for the tightening of an already tight belts, without seeing any tangible results for their sacrifices, but only nauseating propagandas. |
happney65:they are vicious with Peter Obi for attempting to dismantle their structure of criminalities. look at this efcc singing candidate that ought to be in jail, walking free and making useless noise. |
OAFMods:so even PENGASSAN has become Igbo in your myopic reasonings . with useless tribal bigots like you, I wonder how any government can be task to be responsible and accountable to the citizens ? with stupid tribalists like your type, Nigeria as a country is already on a long journey to no where . |
Nice one from governor Obaseki, at least it better and more practical than those audio palliatives of the federal and some states government sharing audio foodstuffs and cash to the already distraught citizens. God bless Governor Obaseki, for this transport subsidy, targeted for the benefits of the masses of Edo state. |
Black leaders, with black minds with wasteful minds. las las they will ask their victims to go to court, knowing fully that the end result of going to court will always favor their criminal acts. |
Op, why not list the privileged countries here, instead of redirecting us to another source ? anyway no need to bother myself , because birds of the same feathers flock together. lol. |
This is so sad, but why do some nigerians still believe that Nigeria police is just for decoration and not doing their duties, because of the few bad eggs in their midst ? this false narratives emboldened the societal deviants to commit crimes with impunity, knowing the timidity of nigerians in taking them to the police, because of these false narratives. Let Mr x contact a lawyer, and go with the lawyer to the police station , and ask the police to invite or arrest the landlord, let Mr x charge the case to court , within 24 hrs, and watch the landlord totally humbled and he will start singing new vibes. when you involved the police, in a rightful way, they will be forced to work in a rightful way. that you are a landlord is not the reason of taking the law into your own hands. meanwhile how can you live in this jungle, without having close buddies for emergencies like this ? if this landlord treat some people like this , he will learn some hard lessons, because it could be like, he foolishly bring war into his peaceful home , over minor issues. |
rintileri:lol. the problem is not even about the cost involved, after all the political elites have always been looting this nation since the emergency of our independence, but the major problem should be the national acceptance of lack of integrity in our national life and politics, glaring official national corruption that will be firmly legitimized. it's a pity that nigerians prefer to build a nation of immortality, yet praying for things to get better. |
oglalasioux:is it a curse ? what is actually the problem of the black race ? because the black race has been proven scientifically to be humans, just like every other human race. |
Obaofaba:the police is right , if only they had done their investigation, arrested the suspect and take him to the court for prosecution, not just arresting the suspect and locking him up indefinitely without any prosecution, to determine his innocence or otherwise. |
izonborn098:nairalanders, you people wouldn't kill somebody, with laughter. a pastor to take a side chick ? |
but sincerely speaking, are we really over-populated ? i don't think so. Nigeria 's major problems are ; corruption, moral depravity, tribal and religious bigotries, faulty foundational structures where mediocrities are shamelessly elevated above meritocracy. if only Nigeria can have a responsible leadership that can eradicate all these societal ills, she can become a world power, within a short period. responsible leadership is the key solution to Nigeria's ugly situations. |
christejames:don't mind them, especially their tribal bigots, if it were to be the peaceful Igbos, making just ordinary opposing views, not even chasing them out of their land, they will start foaming in their mouths, talking rubbish. but whenever they see people that can give them woto, woto, for woto, woto, they learn to be gentle souls. lol. |

There's always a time to speak and a time to keep quiet. Honestly, some people need to keep their opinions to their selves else they reduce their self-worth (if they had any before).
