End time banker and customer...@Op u too is guilty don't come here and form saint. Why don't u obey the simple rule by the lady u met at the BVN table, cos som1 is bad in the bank does not mean everybody is bad. To me u are the culprit cos if you av say No to the guy and head straight to the court the guy in question won't force you. This how som ppu lose money on the bank all in attempt to solve their problem quick quick. we av read here, how som1 gave another man who approached him money in the bank just to later hear that the man in question is not a bank staff. The problem with most of this bank is, it seem they don't have standard, one thing is obtainable in one branch and the same transaction not obtainable in the same bank in another branch. |

Diezani Alison-Madueke, a controversial
minister from former President Goodluck
Jonathan’s administration was recently
interviewed by Dele Momodu, a
renowned Nigerian journalist, publisher,
businessman and Ovation International
magazine owner.
During the interview which was published on
TheBoss online newspaper, the former
minister of petroleum who is undergoing
cancer treatment in a private London
hospital, opened up on a number of issues.
An exclusive with the former oil minister was
the central topic for the launch of TheBoss
Below are revelations from her. 1. My sister doesn’t have a child for Jonathan: The former minister wondered how anyone could fabricate such tales saying, “That is totally untrue as I don’t have any such sister or relative !” 2. My relationship with Patience Jonathan was cordial : Diezani said she gave the former First Lady the respect she should give the wife of her boss. 3. I never had intimate relationship with the former president: According to her, Jonathan’s family and hers have been family friends for long as her mother Beatrice Agama, has always played the role of a godmother in the Niger Delta and is loved by all the militants. “If you are in the corridor of power, you must expect anything, including mud and even bricks being thrown at you,” she said. 4. She denies being involved with many young men : When asked about the relationship between her and Chris Aire, Kola Aluko, Jide Omokore, Tonye Cole, Dapo Abiodun, Wale Tinubu, Igho Sanomi and others, she replied: “I vehemently deny any intimacy or liaison with any of these gentlemen .” She explained that some of these men were unknown to her until she became a minister and they later enjoyed a cordial relationship. According to her, she is happily married and would not do anything to jeopardise her marriage or smear herself in the eyes of her husband, children and family. 5. I’ve never stolen Nigeria’s money: Speaking on the alleged disappearance of $20billion and other wasteful spending authorised by her, the ailing minister wondered how such an amount would disappear just like that. She said: “If there is one issue I must pursue in this world it is the biggest lie of this money. How can $20billion disappear just like that? Where did it disappear to? Is it possible that such an amount would not be traceable? This is more painful coming from someone I considered a good friend who should appreciate the gravity of such allegation. I challenge anyone to come forward with facts showing that I stole government or public money. I’ve never stolen Nigeria’s money …” Diezani before and after. 6. Emir Sanusi wanted to be president of African Development Bank (AfDB) : The former minister said she and the former CBN governor who is now the Emir of Kano were good friends. She disclosed that he came to her house to inform her about his interest in heading the African Development Bank. They discussed for about two hours and she promised to support him. 7. I don’t own choice properties everywhere: According to Diezani she has been living with her husband in the same house since their marriage in 1999. She said her husband bought their house in Abuja in 2007 and she decorated it to their taste which is not over the top. She said: “Anyone who tells you I have houses anywhere should feel free to publish them. That was how they said I bought an expensive property in Vienna. I went to court and I won the case. I never saw the house before except in picture. The house I stay in London is rented. As a woman I love to look good. Some of my dresses and jewelleries are often dumped on me by those I buy from and I pay them when I can.” |
A Mexican woman has opened up on how she
was coerced in sex slavery, and how she has
been raped around 43,200 times.
karla Jacinto says she has been raped well
over 43,000 times. According to CNN, Karla Jacinto believes she has been raped around 43,200 times after being forced to sleep with at least 30 men every day for four years. In speaking about her torment at the hands of Mexico’s ruthless organised crime rings, Karla said her woes began at age the age of twelve. According to her, a trafficker lured her away from a dysfunctional home life with gifts, money and fast cars. At the time she was lured, the trafficker was only 22-year-old. He convinced Karla to leave with him to Tenancingo, a Mexican town in the state of Tlaxcala. The town is known as a major centre for human trafficking rings and a common place for victims to be taken and forced into prostitution. Karla said she lived with her trafficker for three months before being taken to Guadalajara, one of Mexico’s largest cities and there she was forced to work as a prostitute. She said: “I started at 10am and finished at midnight,” adding: “Some men would laugh at me because I was crying. I had to close my eyes so that I wouldn’t see what they were doing to me, so that I wouldn’t feel anything.” She narrates how her trafficker always attacked her after he saw kiss marks on her neck from a customer. “He started beating me with a chain in all of my body. He punched me with his fists, he kicked me, pulled my hair, spit at me in the face… he also burned me with the iron,” she disclosed. According to Karla, an operation by the police to rescue her and a group of girls being held at a hotel evolved into horror as the officers began filming the girls, some as young as 10, in compromising positions. In 2006, Karla was rescued during an anti- trafficking operation in Mexico City. She has become an advocate against human trafficking, having spent about 11 years in the hideous trade. Karla says she would not want any other young girl to go through the horror which she passed through. According to a report by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), there are an estimated 20,000 trafficking victims in Mexico every year. A research by the University of Tlaxcala shows that, one in five children in Tlaxcala aspires to be a love-vendor. The study further reveals that two-thirds know at least one relative or friend working as a love-vendor or trafficker. |

THERE are so many things to be pissed off
with about this entity called Nigeria,
especially for people of my generation and
the generation before us. We have steadily
moved from pipe-borne water to borehole
water. We have moved from the days of
heavily subsidized food in university
cafeteria to what; no cafeteria, no light, no
security, strike-infested tertiary institutions
where nobody graduates on time? We have
moved from great public schools to private
primary, secondary and universities that
charge such fees that encourage parents to
steal from their employers, private or
public. The power issues and the resultant
generator-powered powerless economy
need no description. The health sector? I
think that one has been relocated to Dubai,
Israel, Germany and India. We are all
shamelessly having our babies in America,
Ireland and Canada so we can save the
next generation from the pains of being
Nigerians. In the last few months, the noise of cessation has gotten louder and louder. Two sections of the country want to go. They are tired of this marriage. They have endured and endured and now they have run out of endurance. They just want out of this union. Can’t blame them, can you? When the touch and smell of your husband makes you want to throw up, all you want to do is go somewhere else, be with someone else. All you can see is the greener pasture on the other side. Meanwhile, let’s all join this conversation. If any part decides to go, what are the changes it should expect? What are the realities of a new sovereign state? Send in your bit and let’s make it light-hearted. |
Hmmm.....one day the story wl change, then many won't believe she went thru this pain. May the lord bless our hustle. |
