A time will come Akwa ibom will not be talking of capital development but maintenance and creating jobs just like in the UK.

Currently the state is over crowded with influx of the Igbo tribe. They feel safe doing business in Akwa ibom. I have been having this back and forth debate with my wife regarding cooking soup with groundnut oil as against red oil but she is on the negative. I had cooked Egusi soup with groundnut oil and it taste really nice. I had also done same with okra sea food and its really nice. The reason why I want to do away with red oil is because I have been advised on my cholesterol level and the odour from palm (red) oil doesn't sit well with me these days.

Bro just say you've travel out and see other countries using the so called cooking oil (groundnut oil as it's called in Nigeria) to cook. It taste nice. I want to cook same for my mother and siblings when I return home so the feel another taste.

At first I was like what? But when I stayed over a year without seeing palm oil, I started adapting to their cooking oil. I cook okra with it and mixed everything the way we mix with palm oil, the whole medical colleagues who were staying came to taste. The smell alone they couldn't resist we ate and it was very nice.
Mind you there's nothing like greyfish and Maggi here when u leave Naija. Except in UK were London is like second capital of Lagos everything is sold there including foofoo. But here? Naaaaa

It's also one of the reasons those girls like us because we can cook. And average Nigerian man if given opportunity can cook so well. That's my experience with the cooking oil. What we use at home to fry chicken and make stew is what other countries use to make their soup.
My conclusion. There's no place like home, no food taste and sweet nicely like ekusi, afang soup, pumpkin soup with palm oil. I've missed palm oil 3yrs now.

I'll advise you to focus on both.
Medicine is time consuming, but as a human being you can divide your space @24hrs into 3. You'll have 8hrs each. What are u doing in these 8hrs?

In my case, I'm not borrowing and I'll never, rather I give lend to people. The software development gives me cash. Every week my friend connect me with clients. And we agreed that I pay him #50,000-#200,000 depending on the client offer. So if I developed a fintech app costing 1-2M for a client, I give him 100,000. That's his job. He organise events and meet clients to discuss business. Then brings to me and I develop it.

1month to exams I suspend every work until I'm done with exams. Sometimes I'll tell clients your workis complicated and I'll finish in 3 or 4months time just to have more time to finish some things in med school. It was hard when I started clinicals but I managed.

If your class starts by 08 and ends in 4pm. That's 8hrs. You still have 16hrs left to do other things.
Let say you later decided to rest , u can't sleep for 8hrs. It's too much. Highest is 5hrs and you still have 3hrs to study. What will u do with the remaining 8hrs?
You can still study again, go out for sports, church/mosque, or meet friends. You can still use the remaining time if you're not doing any to code.

That's how it works for me because if you want to suspend your software engineer and concentrate in medicine, you'll regret not having money to even do other things. You need money as a man.

If you've or save enough funds you can even leave the country like In my case because you'll meet guys who will support u. There's still some good guys in Naija and I can tell. So focus on both. Adjust your time
