Am not surprised at the statement credited to the senator. Why did the fulani herdsmen not apply the method of self defence in the core North where they were attacked. My guess is self defense is only applicable in the south, North central and southern Kaduna. The fulani herdsmen should apply the principles of self defence on boko haram and the cattle rustlers |

A depleted man utd squad should be thrashed at old Trafford but with the injury to company and otamendi, rashford, depay , lingard and martial might just have fun outpacing Demichellis and Mangala and defeat of man city will be due to the central defenders |

Still confused why people still join The cash worsens the situation cos the individual becomes a purse of the cult group and fame comes with it based on their non existent network. So a teenager leaving home and staying away from mama and papa can be easily brainwashed cos of the freedom of not being under papa's roof and ability to do whatever pleases him. Orientation of freshers in higher institutions is very essential to prevent this societal evil. |

deyemia: The Person I Intend To Marry Just Told Me This!!!
Dear Nairalanders,
I've come again to hear your views about this issue.... especially married "Egbons"
So it all started like this, My new fiancee and I just finished a sunday service and I was about going to drop her at home when one of her single friends asked if she could join us which we agreed.
On our way they started talking all wife stuffs sharing their views on a marriage and shii, then one thing led to a financial topic where my fiancee started saying she can never support a husband financially, that a man should be a man and take all responsibilities of every penny to be spent, that the reason she's working is to be able to afford all the things she wants that all the responsibilities of the household is for the husband . I acted cool at first.
Her friend was even saying that she doesnt like to be a liability that at least it should not be the man's responsibility 100% that the wife should be able to support financially, My fiancee outrightly disagreed with her saying support doesnt have to be financial from the wife, that it could be through prayers.
I couldnt keep mute anymore I had to ask her "what does it mean when people say supportive wife? " she replied she doesn't know, that she's sure it doesnt have to be financial.
At some point when the friend had already alighted, I asked what if the man is building a house and needs immediate support for just window frames, she said never!
She even said if she has money in the bank and their is no food at home, we will all drink Garri.
Now here are the facts, -We got introduced through match making, -there are some good things about her that is worth consideration. -I dont think she has dated before because she obviously has no experience whats so ever when it comes to relationship behaviours. she's "efikko" kind of. -This her ideology seems deep rooted in her upbringing and family., her mum is rich.
My Challenge is, Should I stick around and try to change that ideology or just move on because I am sure it's a destructive ideology. You have to continue your search for a wife. The life partner that you need is not within your reach yet. |
Romance › Re: Please Help, My 4 Years Relationship Seems To Be Crashing Down by sniper77(m): 11:51pm On Mar 03, 2016 |
Lawz20: Good day my fellow Nairalanders, I have a very serious problem which I so much believe that with your kind and generous advice, I might take the right step. I met this girl around April 2012 at my work place and since then we have been together after I proposed to her last year. The fact is I love her so much and I thought she also loves me.
I went down with her to her village around April 2014 to see her parents formally and they were so happy, her mum, dad, grand parents and even her siblings welcomed me wholeheartedly and I was so happy. I stayed with them for two weeks just to see if I can picture out any bad behavior but seriously, non was found.
The problem am having with her is that she has too much male friends and most of them are always sending her love messages both on 2go and Facebook. I once stumble on her Facebook inbox and I found a chat between her and another guy and he was just thanking her for coming to spend good time with him, bla bla bla and how he enjoyed her. I was so mad because during this period she went to the village alone and promised to return in a week but she didn't until after 3 weeks, this is what she always do, she travels like 4-5 times in a year and never return on time. When she returned, I confronted her and she said she is not the one that did that chat with the guy, I tried asking her who did but she never gave me a good answer.
Later that week, she gave me her phone to help her charge it in a barbing saloon, then a strange number called and I picked, the person hissed and cut the call, he later sent a message saying, "you're picking my wife's call and asking me who it is" I replied him that he should check the number that he might be wrong, he then mentioned her name. I went back home to ask my fiancee who own that number then she said its that guy I saw his chat and I should not worry, she will fix it.
Recently again, she has travelled and up till this moment, she is not back, she promised she won't stay upto 2 weeks but yesterday makes it 5 weeks. That same yesterday, my mum's pastor asked my mum to call me that he has a message for me which I later went, he greeted me and say, while he was praying for me because of my mums request, that he was shown that the lady I am planning of marrying is not mine alone, that if I go ahead to marry her, she will wreck me and leave me, he said she travelled now and I said yes, he said she was seeing someone else in the village, he said if I doubt him, I should go ahead.
It was then my mum now said, my younger sister told her of a dream she had, that I caught my fiancee with another guy and it leads to a fight which the said guy killed me. I myself have had such dreams too. The pastor gave me 3 days fasting and prayer. I am confused, despite all her cunning ways I still love her but what should I do and how do I go about leaving her. I will be 30 by 5th April, am not getting any younger. Please advice. Bros go ahead and marry her. Shebi u wan die. You obviously don't need anyone to advise you cos you ain't getting younger .At 30 you should know which path you want to follow in life. A lady you love so much is about to manipulate your life and you seek advise on how to leave her. As long as u still get legs run for your life. |

Bigprozzie: There are 2 sides to every story
So this means the young man lived with and probably started having an affair with the girl .
The girl like some teenagers is gullible and fell in love with the older guy. As much as I hold Yunusa responsible for this issue, the girls parents must share the blame because this shows that they have not successfully instilled discipline in their daughter. What we read in the newspaper and social media is different from what yunusa's dad is saying.Ese acknowledged that yunusa and other hausas bought food from her mother's shop. The mum gave the same story line. I wonder who is going to confirm that yunusa worked as a domestic help for the orurus . If he is truly 18yrs old we need to ask how he was recruited at 8years old as a domestic help and who was his Guardian that acted as a middle man. In my opinion, I feel yunusa's father is trying to explore face saving measures and a strategy to get a soft landing for his son. |
