1. I suggest you apply alone, then your family members left behind would be seen as home-tie for you. Oyinbo people want assurance that you do not want to emigrate under the cover of further studies. So they want things that would make you look back and come back home when you finish your studies. Secured Job at home is another home ties. Properties etc .This is in theory. 2. Immediately you get there, you start the process of their (loved ones, I mean) coming to join you. It has been discussed extensively here. How to go about it. 3.See packaging a TRV application as going for an exam. Preparations can never be too much. Its better to over-prepare than to under-prepare. But there is nothing you can do more than your very best. Hence if you can get a co-sponsor, please add it. It improves your situation. But If you can not get, submit what you have (being your best in the circumstance ) and pray for HIS favour. HE will surely make your application the best in the eye of the Visa officer, if you BELIEVE. 4. Forgive me for saying this.: You need to make good use of google.com to answer many of your questions if you want to move very fast. Trust me, most of the clarifications have been done already by experienced guys who are now too busy to come here frequently. We that need the help need to create the time to read back. The more you read back the better the understanding. E.G. copy and paste the below without the quotation mark and let me know if it does not help in any way: " going with my husband and baby : travelling-canada-part-7 " => output is restricted to the thread =travelling-canada-part-7 "going with my husband and baby : travelling-canada-part-6 " => output is restricted to the thread =travelling-canada-part-6 These are just samples. Try to vary the questions as convenient for you and see if the output help. I don't want to give you a single link when you need diverse experiences in order to make an informed choice. Creating important key words is what is required for an awesome result via google. But note that to really have a broad understanding dictates that you don not limit yourself to your personal case alone. Devote a bit more time to scheme through and copy for keep the important stuff to make them handy whenever needed. Best wishes. Cheers mosopefoluwa: 1 Like 1 Share |

Exactly : "Always remember, that every case is different (and treated specially) so don't use another person's experience to measure yours.." We have seen some successful application as fast as around a week for online route a few weeks ago and we have also seen around 7 weeks. It fluctuates depending on many variables. A fast sample is : https://www.nairaland.com/2035081/travelling-canada-part-7/157 There was a much faster one Welcome dear redribs. Wishing you the very best. Cheers redribs: |

Please, let us be honest with ourselves. After paying your school fees how much is left to take care of 3 people, pay accommodation of around $500 CAD monthly, medical bills etc !?? Read back to 10 days ago, here, this exact situation was discussed at length and learn from it. Its a long analysis. So do your self the good of correct and balanced info. The cash is low, you may have home-tie issue etc mosopefoluwa: |

You are making it unnecessarily difficult because you have not bothered to read back from here to earlier post. I fear unless you read back as far back as Part 5 you may not do it very right. Please don't be lazy (No insult is intended ) you case is very good. Read back please and you will be at peace with yourself for the very best. Now Note Your uncle cannot engage in that business without him having a correct certificate of registration with CAC (corperate Affairs Commission). He only need to formalise all the assistance you have been rendering him for which you were being paid by : 1. Getting a letter head with the name of the company on it with the details of the RC number . 2. Issue you the letter of employment to the date you started assisting him. Finish ! You have a good balance in your account , I want to assume the flow is fine too. You may need a co-sponsor to package your application with very well. Your uncle may serve this for you and in this case all the required documents have been discussed in the past on this thread. He can even issue you a leave letter if what you are going for can be seen as something that will further his business on way or the other. Read my recent post on how to use google.com to quickly find whatever you are looking for on this thread. Full details on Sample SOP, letter of sponsorship by a company or an individual etc Experienced people will not be coming here to repeat themselves always when its only required of us to just read back. No one is being paid to be here and everyone is busy. All your questions have been answered before. Do the needful, it will save you time . Good luck pickcalmkris: 1 Like |

1. The 1st skill to acquire is how to use www.google.com to get answers to question. 2. After 1. above only a few questions will remain which can be easily resolved here. 3. You need to read back as fast as possible using the skill of 1. above. Please there is no faster and surer alternative. 4. Pasting "how to apply for student visa in canada through paper route " into google, without the quotation mark give the 1st result that has this https://www.nairaland.com/1229480/travelling-canada-part-4/363 5. The greatest authority of TRV matters is www.cic.gc.ca and there the link below you will have the procedure and requirement http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-how.asp In your own interest read back in order to profit from the experience of others who have gone this road before you. Why are u complicating issues ? Go via online route. In that case you need only scan all documents including your dad's own. The man is old school and must have heard lots of scams. I do not blame him at all. Examples of Prodigal children who have sold their parents property illegally are common. Do everything including asking mum to persuade him. Persuade him to a business centre where he can do the scanning while he holds on to the original. If he is proves difficult, go buy 3 in one printer which is now less that 8K bring to the house and scan all your docs where he feels they are safe. Try, try and try everything possible including looking for a co-sponsor. NEVER, NEVER fail to submit your application after trying your best in the circumstance. Pray GOD to complement your application and complete it in the eye of the V.O. It is well with you (amen) sexysammy0906: 1 Like |

You are just wasting your limited time, trust me. Be considerate too. You want a particular person who is just helping out out of love to be repeating himself ad-infinitum on the same question ? Remember, no one is being paid to be here ! When your need become really urgent you will do the needful of reading back. Abi you were not taught in school how to scheme through a huge dump of info in to get you useful info niii ? Ok, hint is : "whatever is in your mind = your question : nairaland " without the quotes will limit your search to earlier post on the subject of interest on nairaland. example : copy and paste the following without the quotation mark inside you google search : "company sponsor : nairaland " => you will be redirected to the link below : https://www.google.com.ng/?gws_rd=ssl#q=company+sponsor+:+nairaland On this link you can see the 3rd entry should have useful info to you. That takes me to https://www.nairaland.com/2035081/travelling-canada-part-7/209 see the post by : toecyne: 11:39pm On Feb 25 , Does it not help you a little ? Pick some others on the link. Thereafter, vary your search question as appropriate and repeat : " your question : nairaland " , learn to frame question in general sense . this will give your plenty to sieve thru Assignment : Go learn tips to do google search. It is an indispensable too and you will stop being dependent on crutches when you have a health limb. Good luck my Friend. porlo87: 2 Likes |

Immediately Read back to January this year from this spot. Thereafter, proceed to Part 4 (i.e ultimately from this spot to part4) . Your answer is there in FULL, trust me. You need not waste any time. If you do the above you will have little question left within a short while of days and you would have been ready to submit you application. Don't be Lazy. That is the only requirement. Here someone got his TRV within less than 10 day. Hence, Theory is different from what happens in Practise. Read ! Read !! and Read back my dear friend. You are in the right place. See testimony from Valeriann from the link below : https://www.nairaland.com/2035081/travelling-canada-part-7/157 Team12: |

Principal applicant should go first in my view and invite others a few months after. Its safer, else everyone risk refusal. The V.O. might see it as a ploy by the whole family to emigrate. This is just an advise please. irridemi: |

A million Thanks for the link. I can read this from there "What is acceptable evidence of funds in support of my study permit application? Proof of funds can be in the form of your certified bank statements or your sponsor’s certified bank statements accompanied by an affidavit from your sponsor confirming that they will be financially responsible for you. All funds must be in an account in Canada or in the country of your current residence. General letters of reference from banks are not sufficient. For more details, refer to the Study permit checklist." A UNI TORONTO trained Nigerian-Canadian immigration lawyer with an immigration consultancy firm in Canada recently told me that it is IMPOSSIBLE for one's sponsor to be a non-relation. But we know that in practice and from the testimony of applicants here, that is not correct. So I have a feeling that the V.O. sometimes closes their eyes to some of the rules they consider NOT so serious. I will rather go with honest experience of eFamily members here than be discouraged from trying. Snappyfingaz: 1 Like |

Hmnn ! What you have done is risky. Someone else might submit this even before you the real owner !! You should have taken time to read back in order to identify individuals who are good and experience at the art of writing SOP. You then PM (Private mail them) to assist you in proof reading. This is the mistake people make when they are too much in a hurry instead of setting out much earlier. The samples you may have seen here have been used to "chop" TRV already. If I were you, I will take this out of the public domain.I wish the very best olutowo: |

I think a Nigerian Topic is better for you. This is because you can use it to package your home tie in your SOP. It is capable of giving a favorable impression that you DO NOT want to stay back after your studies but instead you would like to return to contribute to national development back home olutowo: |

They mean you should go to osun state to obtain a local government identification letter. In that case you may as well go to Osogbo passport office to do it after getting the L.G. ID.It is faster there as there are fewer applicants.as I once had it done within 5 hours. The internet has to be up. But if you talk seriously to the right person in Lagos office, they will do all that packaging for you for a fee. The guy you are dealing with currently only want you to add money for him, hence he decided to make it look like an issue you need to worry about.Talk better to him. Tell him you are going to do it in Osogbo. You will see him bulge because he would miss the tip involved should you walk away. irridemi: 1 Like |
