Have yourself to blame if you have headache over nothing. This is the reason why you are always advised to read from at least part 4.
You will be able to identify inaccurate info from the Truth. Plenty Nigerian residence have their sponsors from UK and US and have be given TRV. Do yourself good by reading backward. Most of the questions have been answered correctly before.
ada4all:

Hi. Please u just said something that shocked me o. My sponsor resides in the US. Actually a US citizen. His statement of account that I will be using to apply is from his US bank. All other docs too are from the US. What do I do now cos u just broke my heart. cry

They mean you should go to osun state to obtain a local government identification letter.
In that case you may as well go to Osogbo passport office to do it after getting the L.G. ID. It is faster there as there are fewer applicants.
But if you talk seriously to the right person in Lagos office, they will do all that packaging for you for a fee. The guy you are dealing with currently only want you to add money for him, hence he decided to make it look like an issue you need to worry about.Talk better to him. Tell him you are going to do it in Osogbo. You will see him bulge because he would miss the tip involved should you walk away.
[quot, author=irridemi post=31257451]Good Morning everyone, I love this thread, a lot of useful info. However, I am just starting my student permit journey. I need info about getting statement of origin for international passport. I was @ the alausa passport office and dey said I need statement of origin (osun). Pls any info, on how I can get it. I will appreciate if any one can assist me asap, I want to go there today again.
This is no problem at all. The bank will issue and stamp the statement of account of your dad upon request. These are the only requirement of CHC. They will do their due diligence after receiving your application.
Good that country speaks French which is one of the official Language of Canada else you would have needed to translate to either English or French depending on the Language of your Application.
You are good to submit if this is the only outstanding for you. Best wishes.

Compare your inquiry with the post you are replying to in terms of clarity of expression and thought !
If a helper with no reward has taken his time to communicate so well and clearly, I guess the least is for anyone making inquiry to do the same if he expects a response. Clarity elicits many great responses. I will not be surprised if this is ignored by many.

Just dont be lazy. That is the only requirement. You are in the right forum.
Read back from from this page to "travelling-canada-part-5" and you will be a better a agent in your own interest. Go to CIC site, its claerly stated that agent contribute nothing to the outcome !

When was that sir ?
Remember that the Devaluation on Naira by nearly 35 % over the years is also an important factor.
Although the LORD grants favour to whom HE will even with a seemingly imperfect application.
So there is no crime in trying if that is the very best the OP can come up with for now.
A co-sponsor is not a bad idea if he can get one. Good packaging can never be too much.

1. Statement of Purpose (SOP)
2. Statement of Intent (SOI)
3. Study plan (SP)
4. Letter of Explanation (LOE ) not Letter Of Employment in this context

They appear to be confusing.
My thinking is that is that they are all the same. Even if am wrong the following will be of help to you in my view

The V.O. will only have a confirmatory fact that many applicant from Nigeria have become "mentally challenged" to think and craft a suitable SOP of their own . QED
Am beginning to feel that as important as SOP is, undue credit is now being given to it.
I have related with a few offline who actually told me they DID NOT include an SOP in their application yet got their TRV.
Lesson ? The LORD will grant favour to who HE will, no matter how incomplete and imperfect the application is. So in addition to all our best, let us NOT forget to pray for HIS favour and Mercy and it shall be well with us all (amen)

Let us economize space by not doing an unnecessary repetition. Even mere Typing " LOE : nairaland " without the inverted coma into your google will give you plenty info. Use that method for other inquiries 1st and post your remaining concern thereafter.
Time flies and waits for no one. google.com rocks, profit from it optimally
Good-luck

Please be careful with credit card info oOoO.
I have paid for someone before with my Nigerian debit card. You can even do a funds transfer to the school with the help of your bank.
The risk is too much should your credit card info be compromised. Beware of online Fraud. The reply you got could have been a man-in-the-middle attack. Prevention is better, safer and much more convenient than cure in my own view.

Dear Sir/Ma,

Statement of Purpose

My maternal grandfather was a crude entrepreneur. I still have clear memories of him. I can still remember watching him making business decisions and I used to discuss my business ideas with him. As small as I was then, he never looked down on me. He would ask for my suggestion on new business ideas. I can still remember my grandfather telling me: What a good businessman you are going to make, Opelayor. I never really wanted to do anything else but I dabbled into Science after my JSS3 just because Commercial and Art classes were ignorantly dimmed inferior to Science in my secondary school. Fast-forward years later, I realised that I did not have the burning desire to become a practicing engineer. The profession did not interest me; it was my perception of the profession that had caught my fancy.
Since my graduation, I have been doing quite fine investing in small businesses. But unlike my grandfather, I wanted to take Nigeria’s economic landscape by storm. I have spent a lot of time looking for information on search-engines, the outline of the course-International Business Management, coupled with the excellent reputation of Fanshawe College are my main reasons for choosing Canada. I am especially interested in gaining an insight into the thinking, doctrines and techniques of the International Business Management. Luckily for me, as a graduate engineer I can still delve into Management. With a reputable school like Fanshawe College and a course like International Business Management which exposes students to the nitty-gritty of Business management, I will be able to hone my entrepreneurial and enterprising skills.
Over the years, I have learnt as much practical entrepreneurial skills as I did in Mechanical engineering. The subject matter of the two learning experiences were, of course, very different; but I was engaged in developing my business skills as much as I was in learning Engineering. My long time business/investment experiences have provided a thorough exposure to the various specialties available in Business management, thus stimulating interest in International Business Management. As an undergraduate, I was able to manage and earn good returns on my stock portfolio(see stock documents) running into over a million naira (N1,000,000.00). Though it took a hit after the Nigerian Stock market nearly crashed I have been able to inject an additional four hundred thousand naira (N 400,000.00) after the near-crash to nullify the effect of the hit. This is a smart move as the glossy prospect of the Nigerian economy remains of one of the world’s best kept secret.
Goal-wise, I wish to expand my views on business and international management. Presently I am into tricycle leasing, which has been very encouraging. I came up with the idea last year during my NYSC with my brother (Sponsor). I realised that the reason leasing businesses was not thriving in Nigeria is because of the selfish interest of investors/lessors. I then came up with an idea to let the lessee take total possession of the tricycle after a certain period of time to give them a sense of belonging and this has worked like magic. There has been no single default payment on the twelve (12) tricycles I presently leased out. However, I plan to return back to Nigeria after my studies to harness the various business and investment potentials that are begging for attention in Nigeria that only foreign investors have been able to take advantage of. My long-term goal is to own a leasing company that would rival the likes of Arval leasing company and Lease link of Canada.
I believe in my abilities and I know I have all it takes to succeed in Nigeria. This is not a ploy to abscond from my country but a step in life to sharpen my knowledge to becoming a well-rounded and polished person both in education and life. I also look forward to experiencing the different foods, lifestyle and culture of the people of Canada.
Thanks in anticipation of your positive consideration.

Yours Sincerely,

Xxxxxx xxxx.

My brother was my sponsor and he only sworn to pay tuition and accommodation in the Affidavit ot support letter. I got my TRV!

1. Avoid saying this " This is not a ploy to abscond from my country
" . Say it impliedly in a great and beautiful way.It appear to direct and it may have the effect opposite to the intended effect.
2. NO COPY AND PASTE in your own interest.

Exactly. It's after being admitted in a school to a course of your interest, that is when you will be in a position to apply for TRV(Temporary Resident Visa for students).
Please learn the google search tips as you will have little or no question at the end as MOST questions have been answered here on this forum more than any agent can ever do.
Trust me, this is a pool of knowledge from personal experiences of a big family.
For example, I launched google search in my browser and typed your question to do DEMO with it as below without the inverted comas

"canada schools with fast admissions : nairaland "

=> search and limit the subject matter (canada schools with fast admissions) to Niraland posts only.
The redirection points to :

https://www.google.com.ng/?gws_rd=ssl#q=canada+schools+with+fast+admissions+:+nairaland

where I could get one (out of many) of the link below :

https://www.nairaland.com/962116/travelling-canada-part-3/338

Read the post all the post on the above link and tell me how you feel ! =>https://www.nairaland.com/962116/travelling-canada-part-3/338

Have special emphasis on the post of : earthgreeners

(You see, Most questions have been answered before. Do u blame this guys if they refused to repeat themselves ? No one is paid to be here)

Keep record of this link in a note pad as you might need it later, after you have been offered admission.

Also keep reading the old post to date after applying for school and while awaiting admission so that u can be abreast of the useful info.

The following random supplementary links can also help :

http://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/

www.universitystudy.ca

http://www.aucc.ca/canadian-universities/facts-and-stats/tuition-fees-by-university/

https://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines/

Bear it in mind that you are being equipped here free-of-charge to be your own agent, agency fee which you would otherwise
be charged is many hundreds of thousands of Naira.
Hence do not be lazy about it. No quick fixes and avoid pit fall experienced by guys who have pass thru. the route before you.
Best of luck.

<rant>
This type of attitude irritates me and I believe this is one of the reasons why Nigeria is not progressing. Please permit me to take this personal and go into hibernation after I finish ranting. Yes, this is a rant!

I worked in the Software Industry for quite a while in Nigeria and I met very brilliant and smart guys but the industry is going nowhere in Nigeria because our software developers lack something - COLLABORATION. I see dudes here churn our some wonderful apps and solve problems. I have met some of them and they are not half as smart as the average Nigerian but they are more productive. Why? 'Cos they put heads together and augment their strengths.

Now bringing it home, someone was asking for an SOP to use as a guideline and you arrogantly dismiss the person. I honestly believe that a lot of people here fail in their application because they do not have ideas of how to package their applications and sell themselves to the VOs. I am a strong believer in the open-source stuff and sharing of knowledge. I mean, just imagine if people here could gain access to dozens of SOPs, they can pick ideas from a couple of them and form their own style. This new style would add more to the already existing dozen SOPs. See, these Indians, Bangladeshis, heck, even Iranians do not have a proper command of english and they chop TRV more than Naija. I stumbled on one of their forums and that was where I got most of my ideas from. Imagine! Iran has had strained ties with America for decades and don't even have a Canadian embassy or consulate or whatever in their country and still they are the 4th largest population in my school. Most of them said they went to Turkey to apply for TRV. How come these countries get approval despite terrorists ties or little or no diplomatic ties with Canada? They use templates. They collaborate. They share!

Please guys, let's learn to share and collaborate more especially when it would add more to knowledge. I am not by any means saying you should share your SOP before you get your TRV (that is plain stupidity). But after you don chop the Visa, you can remove personal info from your SOP and share it. Or at least share the RESOURCES that you used to construct your own SOP if you are uncomfortable sharing your own.
