Nigerians and their inability to discern the problem wit the Nigerian State. THE PROBLEM WITH THIS NATION IS THE ORIENTATION OF THE PEOPLE TOWARDS ANARCHISM. The law/constitution holds no ground when the people that are to incorporate such into mores fail to realise this. We are here today because we are ever ready to circumvent and never to compromise on provisions of the constitution. We love to say the constitution is inadequate even when we fail to acknowledge it let alone obey its adequacy, also remember the penal code never said a convicted criminal can spend jailterm in a 5-star hospital, Bode George spent less than a year in d prison 4 an offence that shouldnt earn him less than 30 years(dis is contained in the penal code) and was even priviledged to offer thanksgiving in church yet, we say that Nigerians are not 2 blame for the failure of the Nigeria system which the constitution pivots. More than some little inadequacies in the constitution and other laws and convention guiding the affairs of citizen in Naija, is the attitude of the citizenry to bastardizing the present structures. And if we continue this way, as the heavens are far away from the earth; so are we far from that utopian society we all crave for and remember subsequent generation only have us to blame. I commiserate with d OP, for the backwardness of d Igbo clan & GEJ's failure to produce an attempt to longlasting positive socio-engineering effect like Fashola, have left him frustrated & rebellious leading him to putting up a tag of non-performance on a Governor whose achievement the deaf heard, the blind saw & the dumb spoke about. Have told u guyz severally, rather than channel ur energy into the "lets pull him sydrome", it can be better utilized in sleepin wit ur wives to produce kids. We committ ourselves into raising them and pledge 2 nurture them in d best possible way so they can help raise ur tattered nation to glory in the shortest possible time. Most Nigerians are ill-informed, the removal of 100 buck per transaction when using other banks atm was a decision taken by the banks themselves and not a CBN Directive. AGAIN THIS HAS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH CBN. Used a gtcard on uba atm and nada was deducted from my acct as charges. Dey should also look into sending multiple sms per transaction, my phone is full wit their msgs, why send 3 msgs when i withdraw 30k at a go on a machine that pays a maximum of 10k at a time. |

I dey laugh oh... i found out ladies are tryin 2 evade washin clothes which 2 me is permissible but me think 2 also now see washin dishes,sweepin and cleanin generally as so kind of sacrifice is absolute madness. I do all d odd house chores in my house and i find dis chores interestin. Ladies should please not see dis as something huge, its no big deal. My home can never be dirty because i luv a clean environ but if by chance my girl meets my crib filled wit dirt and she refuses 2 clean then, the more reason i wont marry her. Anyhow, just live your life as it pleases you. |

@ Pharoah, u'r so obstinate because u are axiomatic of ur ill-gotten brain like ur predecessor in d bible. All d views to ur argument had been flawed above reasonable doubt. For a fact, there is nothing like a sovereign state in a federation like Nigeria because we operate a federal system of govt,the term sovereignity applies to the Federation Nigeria not a territorial state within Nigeria claiming sovereignity (Ogun state is never a sovereign state not today maybe tomorrow). Also, there is absolutely no need 2 bring in the modality of law in the allocation of land vested within the jurisdiction of the Governor because allocation is at his discretion and in this case the land being allocated does not in any way pose any threat 2 d lives and economic welfare of d occupant of d vicinity rather it is for the economic good of the whole nation. @ndu-chuck since i don know u on nairaland, ur inner eye is yet 2 see lightday. 1 Like |

In as much as I did pt @ Surulere annex of Laspotech b4 securing admission into uni, I subscribe to scrapping the program wholeheartedly. Men, in a class of about 250 Accounting students, only 20 students will make my merit list. Some can't read and write and u wonder if some had primary education. The funny stuff is that this category of students account 4 80 percent of the school's populace. A lot of fraudulent activities happen with reckless abandon coupled with anti-social acts being perpetuated by staffs and students. I can't remember if I read 4 d exams in which i passed very well. Very few guys actually went through the learning process. Part-time should be done on main campus to ensure learning. |
