Please what is the fastest way to get accommodation apart from Rentfaster, Facebook Market Place and Kikiji. I have tried the above options but they aren’t picking their calls. I’m in Calgary. |

Please is it advisable to travel in December? Already have COPR and trying to book flight now, but I need to sort out some things in Nigeria between now and December. I’m worried because of the possible weather situation, as I will be traveling with a toddler 2 Likes |

Queenmaker: Yes, I paid for a two-way courier. I also paid the transmission fee because my son didn’t do biometrics. I don’t think you have to pay the transmission fee if you don’t have a child and you are sending it through the same VAC that you did your biometrics. You will attach the slip that you were given during Biometrics to prove that you did your Biometrics there. However, you can still pay if you can afford it, just to avoid delays if it turns out everyone is required to pay the fee. I know a single person that paid and it’s not like they refunded the money. |

Solidcitizen: COPR is here finally Dropped off Passports at DHL Lagos - 20 June Arrived at Lagos VAC - 22 June Dispatched to Accra VAC - 22 June Received at Accra VAC - 28 June Received at Accra Visa Office - 6 July Decision Envelope Received at Lagos VAC - 29 July Counterfoil Email - 29 July Passport delivered to us - 2 August There were no email updates on when the processed passports were sent back to Ghana VAC and from Ghana VAC to Lagos VAC. The process took about 6 weeks. So if you are really in a hurry to travel, I suggest you try other VOs. 15 Likes |

Dennyjuff: You took the words right out of my mouth. I believe we will get some relief in a few days/weeks. The recent devaluation is purely driven by speculations. If I had USD, I might even consider selling some now and buying at 620 or lower later |

Allegory: Interestingly, I checked the tracking website just now and it says the passport has been sent back to the Ghana VAC. This happened today because I still checked last night. See the message below "Visa application, tracking ID No. – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office on 2022/07/25 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. Your decision envelope will be returned to you via the courier service offered by the VAC. Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice. Please refer to the “Buy Services” page of the VAC website for further information on courier services offered by the VAC.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website" |

Good evening house...please I have a few questions on passport stamping. 1. I plan to send my passport through VFS Lagos. Do I have to pay the transmission fee if I did my biometrics in the Lagos office? I still have the white slips we were given during biometrics. 2. I am sending passports for a family of 3. Can I use a single envelope for all our passports/documents? |

PPR is finally here...class of 2020 AOR - March 2020 Passed Medicals - May 2020 Biometrics - May 2020 LONG SILENCE!!! Got married in November 2020 and added my spouse in December 2020. She passed medicals in April 2021. My newborn arrived in March 2021. I sent numerous webforms to IRCC to inform them. He was finally added in September 2021. I also attached updated proof of funds. I used Piggyvest and 25% pension for the proof of funds, even though the funds in my Piggyvest account were sufficient. LONG SILENCE!!! Request for Medicals for New born - February 2022 Request for Re-med for me - March 2022 Request for Re-med for spouse - April 2022. She already did up-front medicals before the IRCC request and I had to call them directly to recognise the upfront medicals after sending about 5 webforms without receiving any response. Upfront medicals was finally updated in late April ADR - PCC and Form A - April 2022. We uploaded the documents on 6 May 2022. PPR - Today, 13 June 2022. My mind was doing gbim gbim I was logging into my profile to check the mail from IRCC. Lo and behold, it was the much awaited PPR. I got most of the information for the process - including addition of spouse and newborn from this thread. Many thanks to everyone that has contributed in one way or the other. This express entry is really a test of perseverance and is not for the faint-hearted. I almost gave up at some point, especially when people that applied after me in 2020 were getting PPR within 4 months. I remember making a post on this thread about withdrawing my application, because it felt as if my life was on hold. If you are in the process, don't give up and be sure to respond to requests from IRCC ASAP. I believe their aim is to clear the backlog between now and July, so there's hope. 22 Likes |

Good morning. We are all going to make it. Please is there any other way to send evidence of upfront medicals to IRCC. I have sent at least 10 webforms without any acknowledgement. I also tried this link yesterday. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application/Form/72 Interesting thing is they just sent form IMM1017 for medicals. 1 Like |
