@ godogodo Well, in the United States of America, we know there are four major groups that make up that population, the African Americans, the European Americans (whites), Asian Americans and Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans (American Indians making up 1% of the population)Who is this foolish godogodo self? U dont just compare Nigerian politics to American politics where the system has developed over centuries to d present near-perfect state. |
yes he can, in fact he will, sorry he has already won |
@ feradull Please join us at the Eagle Square.I pray thunder strikes all of u to death as u all celebrate the Devil on Earth. Your doomsdays are numbered |
@ gadogado Actually, the SE insisted on zoning, they first brought the matter up in the constitutional conference of 1994. The SE insisted and demanded that zoning be put in the Nigerian constitution. Abacha liked the Idea and promised to adopt it, he died, abdulsalami came in and discarded the idea of "constitutionalizing" it. However the party's agreement is between North and South as far as the presidents office is concerned. And everybody knows IBB's father is from Kano and mother from Zamfara. Well northerners know this, he's hausa/fulani not nupe or gwarri. Thats besides the point though. The idea of zoning is if the president is from a certain area, then other important positions in the legislature and beyond should be spread out to ensure equitable distribution of power. You know how they say in the west "the spirit of the constitution" this is exactly what you guys are missing "the spirit of the agreement" meaning the common sense and goodwill of the agreement. Hausas will feel betrayed if Goodluck stays in a northern slot. That is exactly where the problem lies. How can the North allow people like IBB and Atiku to become frontrunners for them. I personally earnestly support zoning but blended with meritocracy. Nigeria is too heterogeneous not to have a culture like zoning/rotation in our power sharing methods. But why is the North always throwing out mediocres and destroyers (like IBB, OBJ, Atiku) on the south? Is it that there is no other human being in the North asides these beasts of no nation. |
As if he were God. GEJ does not have 10% of the influence you are ascribing to him. That's the simple explanation to his delayed pronouncement. He does not have the clout OBJ had. Besides OBJ's managed to have the so called clout during his second term in office and not 9 months of presidency. You should also remember that despite all of Obj's clout and influence, he failed to actualize his thrid term bid. Obj was stopped by the north. GEJ will also be stopped by the north.U need to learn from experience and history. GEJ controls Nigeria now and PDP machinery. If u are in doubt IBB cannot campaign in Ibadan because GEJ will not approve the maximum security he needed to campaign in such an unfriendly environ. Let me paint a possible picture for u at d PDP convention night. GEJ may make sure IBB sits outside the state box unprotected by security men and the delegates planning to vote against GEJ will just pick up d ballot paper and discover GEJ has been ticked already and they will be accosted by stern-looking body guards to drop d ballot paper in the box while they would also be warned to remain calm going back to their seats. Have u seen the way Nnamani was accosted from the airport down to his village by security men making sure he receives no cheers from 100s of his supporters that have come out to welcome him. This is d kind of model I am proposing for IBB day of disgrace. I pray he be rigged out openly and made to cry, lament and feel the pains of killing people's dream like he did to others. |
To me Jonathan has delayed this pronouncement enough (if it would come) Nigerians may be gettin a 50 yr anniversary surprise of "I am not runnig" from him.GEJ is planning seriously to have a reasonable support spread across the country b/4 jumping into d ring. Let me remind u nothing stops him from announcing long time ago and going on to rig d PDP primaries. It is as simple as ABC (OBJ has shown us d incumbent president decides if d primaries should be free/fair or not). With many Northern govs now supporting him it will be easier for him to 'rig' d primary. If he however decided to embrace a legacy like some are urging him to do by not contesting. He will surely sideline IBB that I can bet u. He will simply invite one of the Northern govs he loves and IBB and Atiku will simply be shut out of PDP primaries. And once a Northern PDP candidate is announced it is as good as the winner for d general election has been announced because no opposition party is widespread enough to wrestle power from PDP now, at least not in 2011. |
Chei. So bad he cant send me a text message now. Can somebody tell him to give me a call please? |
I honestly dont think situations like diz alwayz mean negligence. The guy is even on a 'NOKIA common' and may be one of the responsible few in the house. Some people get tired from genuine works and surrender to nature at times like this. I have seen a Clinton's picture where he is completely switched off at an event so its not a big deal. |
@ Big looter I am confident that IBB will lead this lovely country and the great people of Nigeria once again.Big fool I have just confirmed u have cracks in your skull and ur brain must b leaking |
@ godogodo not only is chief Raymond Dokpesi courageous but he's an upright individual with honor and integrity. Zoning was an agreement adhered to by PDP stake holders, why are you trying to betray an agreement? because goodluck is not an honorable man, thats why!! So if he an betray an agreement just for greed and lust for power, then of course he'll loot the treasury. This is d most ridiculous statement I have read in recent times. A courageous ignoramus. So the definition of courage now is to refuse to pay your workers salary for 10 months. And your new definition of honour is to desperately look for money from the Devil (the giver of money)? IBB must b an angel in your dictionary with 7.5 Billion pounds in UK alone. Stop thinking tru yor yansh use yor head anytime u want to type rurbish here |
@ Storm Is metalgong4 a Nigerian? If he is, was he old enough to have witnessed the dark days of the military era of IBB/Abacha? Some things can be forgiven, ignorance should be pitied. I'll refer you to the various write-ups on your hero to assist you in knowing more about him.My storm sorry rubbergong is my brother and not happy that d Indigbo have not had a shot at presidency since the civil war and he is ready to do anything now (including striking a deal with d Devil-IBB) to achieve the Ndigbo dream in 2015. I can assure u he knows IBB very well he's only chatting an Ndigbo course against any odds. |
Hmmmmm! Thats an interesting one!Exactly my thought |
@ gadogado you're a fool. Why not just tell the south-south to declare independence if they want to keep the oil money and not remain part of ONE country. Theres oil in the north too but coz you're ignorant, im sure you dont know about the reserves there. That is what I am talking about wake up and start looking inward to avert future hunger. I know about possible deposits in Jigawa. Wells still need to be drilled to confirm the deposits and ascertain if they are of commercial quantities or not. At least now u reasoning wit yor head and not yor anus. |
@ metalgong So after other zones have benefitted from the PDP zoning agreement, you and your fellow Igbo sellouts would truncate the zoning arrangement at a time Igbos are about to produce theirs. . . . . . You must be a son or relative of Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu who revels in working against the interest of Ndigbo.U are d ones working against Ndigbo interests indirectly. Every enlightened Indigbo should know the North has never trusted the SE and even when the SW was their sworn enemy and SE their allies they have always disappointed us by favoring SW at critical times. If we are negotiating 2015 and we are doing that with IBB or Atiku, that is what I call 'Basket Mouth Open Mic Show'. In as much I am desirable of an ndigbo presidency even in 2011 I refuse to trust the Demons (IBB and Atiku) again and be disappointed at d end of the day. An IBB presidency is going to b a life one and going by his antecedents will make sure his son succeeds him after his death on the thrown. Atiku has d same tendencies. For now, the only Northerner I can believe his words is Buhari and unfortunately does not seem to have the resources to match IBB and Atiku outside the North. Unless the present calculations change, for me and my Indigbo friends Ebele all the way |
@ gadogado Thank youI thought by now u are already planting ground-nuts. So u are still scheming to remain a beggar. |
@ rubbergong As as bona- fide citizen of Nigeria and of the free world, IBB has the right to express his feelings as it pinches him. There are enough Tylenol at the pharmacies for people who always develop head ache immediately they hear the name IBB.IBB isnt a bona-fide citizen off Nigeria, he is in fact a bast d from Chad or Sudan. How can a world-renown serial-killer be afraid of being killed. The only life he should be grateful to GEJ he is still outside kirikiri celebrating Salah. Nobody is loosing sleep over d loser because he must be rigged out to feel the pains of Yaradua and MKO |
Dont worry be happy! |
'm beginning to think that you might be a fool afterall. You think the governors can deliver anything? They will not only deliver anything but everything including your vote. Dont waste your time your Gov has already caste your vote 4 u. We are just fulfilling all righteousness by going into primaries and general elction for mere formality. |
Please can you translate the above Swahili into English. They are currently politically irrelevant in deciding who wins PDP's primary |
As always, you are an irredeemable fool. Those people you call losers had already occupied high electoral offices which you can only achieve in your dream.Electoral office is not my dream in life and I am happy with my achievement so far in life. They have occupied the offices how many positive changes have they made in office? |
Chief Simeon Okeke, its Chairman, former Senate President Ken Nnamani (not even a regular member of PDP), Senator Jim Nwobodo (ave not won an elction since serving as a senator), Senator Uche Chukwumerije (his Gov has already delivered his state), Senator Ben Obi (he doesnt even ave a party), Prof. Chukuma Soludo (not even a politician and Anambra PDP is Uba's), Chief Achike Udenwa(history, the state has lready been delivered), Hon Dubem Onyia, Dr. Sam Egwu (history, his state has been delivered), Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu, Prof Chinwe Obaji, among others. |
Yeah, you're right about hunger. No hunger as long as you have sown an eternal seed of discord among the people from who land the eeeeaaasssyy oil is milkedThere is nothing eternal in this world. Dont be surprised if IBB walks to halter with Turai or GEJ marrying IBB daughter b/4 election ![]() |
do not think the annulment of June12, 1993 election was breach of agreement but discretionary undertaking by the Head of State. Also, I think the Head of State was entitled to such decision.I agree with u and I also think the present Head of state too is entitled to rig out the 'then Head of states' from 2011 contest. Talking about viciuos cycle. |
BTW: Who are you to call them bunch of losers? What have you achieved in life? . . . . You must be a drooling slowpoke for uttering that nonsense. The list is a collection of losers the only name missing on the list is Metal gong ![]() |
Common now, the laws of nature states that water naturally flows downwards.Ahhh u must remember dat d only permanent thing in diz life is change. Wen hunger start knocking on yor door nobody wil teach u b/4 u commot d manicure start tilling and sowing 1000x of groundnuts per day |
@ gadogado Rubbish, you dont know what you're talking about? This resource we call oil belongs to all Nigerians. so I as a Nigerian citizen have a stake in all natural resources found anywhere in Nigerian territory not just oil but cocoa as well. At this point in time, oil happens to be valuable, tomorrow, it could be a resource in the north that becomes valuable. And all Nigerians will have an interest in the new found value of the resources. It is because of oil that the country left the other sectors of the economy to deteriorate so it was national shift. At that time (when petro dollars started pouring in) no one said that it was the exclusive preserve of ND, ND didn't even exist, no one said that the north should be excluded from oil revenue. Its now that all of a sudden, you're claiming only you should have access to the oil revenue. Like I said, if you want to keep all the oil, then declare independence. But as a country, all the resources, oil and others belongs to the entirety of the Nigerian citizenry.Wen your eye go clear it will b too late for u and yor people. Develop or starve |
The members of the IPF are Chief Simeon Okeke, its Chairman, former Senate President Ken Nnamani, Senator Jim Nwobodo, Senator Uche Chukwumerije, Senator Ben Obi, Prof. Chukuma Soludo, Chief Achike Udenwa, Hon Dubem Onyia, Dr. Sam Egwu, Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu, Prof Chinwe Obaji, among others.the last time I checked these are bunch of loosers without any electoral values even in their wards |
That was the majority opinion of the Nigerian supreme court when selfish Niger Deltans wanted to claim derivation on even the oil deep in the ocean. As I have been advising u they have d right to be selfish if they want to. And what stop u and your people from harnessing resources from your vicinity and stop relying on resources from others for. They have gotten 10% form 3% and presently on 13%. They will keep fighting until they get 100% for what is theirs in the first place and there is nothing U and I can do about it. Simple antidote is to develop the economic base of your state or face d consequences in the future |
See attached for the oil-field control around the GoM
|
Solomon, in the US, all offshore oil belongs exclusively to the federal government. onshore oil belongs to private individuals, private businesses lease land and mineral rights from the owner of the land where minerals are found, the oil company then pays a royalty of 12.5% to the individual who owns this land, they then pay state as well as federal taxes on their profits. In other words, private businesses practically control the oil industry not the state govt nor the fed as far as onshore in concerned, to drill any oil in the US, anywhere in the US, a company is subject to federal regulations as well as federal licensing.Wrong again all offshore oil-fields dont belong the federal government, all shallow offshore fields are controlled by the littoral states while only the deep offshore fields are controlled by the Federal govt. So my question to u is that which part of the business has the FGN allowed the individuals in ND and ND states to control like it is being parctised in the US? See the attachment for the control areas of individuals, states and federal govts around d GoM |
gadogado:That is ND business not yours stop trying to manage other people's problem for them when the log in your eye is as big as Mahogany tree. Locals dont have control over oil in the US, private businesses/investors do. Some of these investors come from the middle east others from Russia and all over the world.Stop blabbing this is from United States oil economy search: The law regulating oil and gas ownership in the U.S. generally differs significantly from laws in Europe because oil and gas are often owned privately in the U.S. [edit]Jurisdiction In the U.S., extraction of oil and gas is generally regulated by the individual states through statutes and common law. Federal and constitutional law apply as well. [edit]Ownership In the United States, oil and gas rights to a particular parcel may be owned by private individuals, corporations, Indian tribes, or by local, state, or federal governments. Oil and gas rights extend vertically downward from the property line. Unless explicitly separated by a deed, oil and gas rights are owned by the surface landowner. Once severed from surface ownership, oil and gas rights may be bought, sold, or transferred, like other real estate property. Oil and gas rights offshore are owned by either the state or federal government and leased to oil companies for development. The tidelands controversy involve the limits of state ownership. As a matter of fact the US federal stake in oil business will be less than <20%. So investors come from middle-east and brought the Gulf of Mexico for instance to US. All these oil-fields originally belong to individuals, states and Federal and the while individuals and states control d lion share the Federal only controls the deep offshore that mark d territorial limits of the littoral states. Name me one country that has "resource control" as an economic arrangement. Even with a law that states you have total private ownership of land, if a valuable mineral is found on the land, the government can acquire that land if its vital to its national interests, you can challenge that in court but much like America, when it get to the supreme court, the court will uphold the governments rights to acquire private land with due compensation to the owner. If you find oil in your back yard, do you think it makes sense for you to say you own the oil, just you!! Since it was found on my property, it belongs to me 100% and I can do anything I like with it!!!!I can refuse to allow it to be extracted, its my prerogative. Dont be a buffoonU are the buffon here. I have given u an example of an impact crater in Arizona the govt has been after since 1945 and the owners have refused to sell. U may live in the US obviously u dont know how US laws work. No federal govt, not even Obama can forcefully take your property from u unless u want them to have it. |
A friend of mine is of the opinion that he might win.Sory that is an enemy of yours. Tell him he doesnt wish diz nation well |
