Dr Alban was my fathers primary school classmate. You know the guy had his roots in naija

Yes I know he was born and brought up in Nigeria. But for all intent and purposes especially concerning his music, he is considered Swedish.

She has not completed the payment. Technically speaking, she failed to consider the effect of inflation for all those years, thereby repaying the sum at a value less than the initial debt in 1969. Mummy, could you please pay up the complete debt, thank you ma.

Volunteers are usually unpaid. Don't come here trashing them like you were supposed to receive a salary. You can get airtime with the money though. Or maybe even bank charges.

I just love this Olofinjana guy being a sensible and career person. How he was able to combine his academics (Chemical Engineering in Lautech) and professional football career.

I guess he has been one of the few graduates (if not only Nigerian university graduate) that ever played for the Super Eagles

Sam Okparaji was a law graduate.

Paul Obiefule, Efe Sodje (that durag wearing defender) and Jonathan Akpoborie were all university graduates. I even know I'm missing someone's name but I cant remember now.

Career / Re: Should He Stay In Nigeria Or Move To UK? by solonubinho(m): 4:58pm On May 19, 2021
kktbm:
Good dey guys..... I was discussing with a friend of mine. He wants to move out of the country(uk) but his parents are trying to cajole him to stay ( he’s from a well to do family and they are financially capable)

His plan is after nysc he would go for masters and find his way.

He is 21 and currently serving (he’s field is IT)
But the issue is that his parent are trying to fine tune his head to stay (he’s the last born)

Their excuse is that
1) you would do menial jobs there
2) there is nothing there
3) even if you get a good job there, it’s difficult to rise as a black man
4) you will be lonely

Their main bone of contention is that there is nothing there.
Note: his dad and 4 other siblings out of 5 studied in the uk tho.

My friend doesn’t even want to stay atall, most of his friend are in the uk, he doesn’t have friends in Nigeria except a few. He doesn’t like going out because he said his mind is not in Nigeria. If you see him ehn you will know that he’s depressed. All he wants is to move to the uk.

He’s not even a badboy he doesn’t smoke, drink
He’s not a womanizer

(2 of his siblings have been in the UK SINCE early 2000’s and are already citizens)

The dad also isn’t saying he should not go, but after service, he should get a job first probably with Goverment (due to job security because his dad retired with the government) then work 2-3 years before going for his master.

His point his that he wants to go now that the funds and everything is intact. What if something should happen in future nko?

My advice for him his to leave immediately after service after all he has siblings who are in their early 40’s there to put him through and also a lot of family friends there

What would you advice

You are a thief. You received such money and you did not go to your bank branch to make enquiries. You're a thief.

Put your two hands on your head and say after me "father Lord deliver me, I am a thief. Remove the spirit of stealing from my life and give me integrity".

But really you guys are gonna pay that money back.

From the picture,
1. Framework is bad
2. The cooling fins is absolute gibberish, more of a design than its actual functionality.
3. The grip seems to be made of plastic, or a slippery material. The actual essence of that part was not functional in design.
4. Trigger loop is too wide for an automatic rifle by few millimeters
5. Wide gap between barrel jacket and hand guard,. Its accuracy would definitely have wide errors, except used by exceptional professional
6. The butt is outdated and not handy.

............. Their is still more room for improvements

In essence, mediocre. As always.

Liars! This is not in Niger State where I came from. The language spoken here does not resemble Gbagyi, the language of the people where the alleged boko haram activities in Niger State have been reported. Boko Haram victims will not have the opportunity to wear face mask. Most people dont wear mask even in Niger cities not to talk of villages under boko haram's occupation. I await the confirmation from our tech gurus that this videos is not from Nigeria or was poorly scripted to compound our already tense situation.

Fool.

She was just going about her normal business when her story touched somebody and by sheer stroke of luck people donated for her rehabilitation. Whether or not she was an amputee from birth it doesn’t matter whether her father is alive or not is irrelevant. The funds should be put to good use and her quality of life made better

Career / Re: How Women Are Locked Out Of Nigeria’s Construction Industry by solonubinho(m): 4:46am On Apr 27, 2021
Just look at the nonsense you wrote. Women that work hard definitely make it to the industry. You just conveniently turned a blind eye to the fact that most of these Nigerian girls would rather learn make up or sell clothes and shoes via whatsapp or do tailoring with a 'hook up' side hustle while looking for someone successful to latch on to in the name of marriage and then claim gender discrimination.
