Sir, the person you quoted need to be very practical here. 3 million will only deck a three bedroom duplex as of today. That amount will not deck a two unit three bedroom flat in this present economy.

Last year December, I supervised a project in Delta consisting of two unit of two bedroom and one unit of one bedroom. The rod for that project cost 1,930,000.

Rushing to parade suspects in front of the media is not good for our policing system, it's injurious to investigation and an archaic in this modern time.

'Rushing' is what I totally condemn here. The police as a sensitive institution should have grown above this childish practise. A thorough investigation should have been done before parading the suspects.

Little wonder why most arrests and high calibre criminal case don't get either prosecuted or won in court because of want of evidence.

If this suspect is truly an Hollywood actor, common sense demands that he should notify the police before attempting to feature any weapon in shooting/movie location because of the fluid security situation in the country

I see all these carved out dining areas as waste of space coz it doesn't take long and it will stop being used as dining again and then you can't use it for another reasonable purpose because it's open to the sitting room.

Why not have the dining area near the kitchen just for the family and then serve your guests in the sitting room using side tables.

This way, any family member can comfortably eat in the dining without having to attract or distract the activities in the sitting room.

I’m actually not on both project at the same time.

Here’s the timeline of event:

XL6 Trillion
Start: March 2021
Substantial Completion: May 2021

Due to few changes which includes but not limited to changing the roof construction from wood to steel, the project is running into the month of June.

We had to wait almost 4 weeks for the subcontractor handling the installation of the roof trusses.

Those delays falls into excusable delays in NextHome contract because we can easily deliver roofing woodwork for the same structure within a day without the need to extend the completion date.

The Nonuplets (Phase 1)
Start Date: 23rd May 2021
Substantial Completion: August 2021

I’m currently on this project at the moment.

Experience has shaped us over the years.

With my clients knowledge, I once delegated a project to an engineer recommended by my client’s folk and he messed up badly but I get to bear the brunt.

Today, I personally supervise all my builds. I hardly miss a day on my site because I don’t take on more than one project at a time and I’ve learnt to set up boundaries/limit.

Deckings rest on walls and columns, contain reinforcement and beams, it should never be moving up and down, never!
What if it collapses on people downstairs, when more dead loads are added to it?

For the vibration to be so obvious and responsive to someone jumping up (that is a swing, not even a vibration), shows that the Decking is not balanced, probably Columns are missing at strategic points, likely the reinforcements in the Decking, especially the internal, decking beams are not adequate or even probably the mix ratio of the concrete is weak.

Whatever it is, it does not look good at all and might present danger in the future.
If l were the owner, the approach l will use is to call the Structural Engineer who designed the Project, to have a look and confirm whether it is safe and if not, what should be done to make it safe.

A Swinging Deck should not just be leveled with more concrete load, the reason for such movement should be first clearly established or the Decking removed completely and a proper, new one done, at great cost.

The planks were just removed on the 3rd or 4th and work started immediately.. As the work progressed the issue of sloping and decking bouncing started arising.. I contacted rotech who didn't handle such a serious issue with any sense of urgency!
