Business › Re: I Made A Mistake That Cost Me N15,000 by sonofthunder: 11:17am On Aug 22, 2020
I hope that by telling you my story, you won’t fall victim of such mistakes.

Read on...

Last week, I was getting ready to launch my product online. I don’t know how to go about it. So I called my friend BEN for advice.

He guided me in opening a business account on Facebook and Instagram.

He then said something that surprised me.

“You need to hire a Graphic Designer “

“Why should I hire a Graphic Designer? “ I asked “Can’t I launch my product without them?“

Ben smiled and continued “You need to look good and professional to your customers. It makes you get ahead in business".

Since I wanted my launching to be perfect, I took his advice and hired a Graphic Designer. I paid #15,000 for a start.

And something happened.

Just that same night, I saw an advert that I could learn Graphic Designing for #3,000.

“What? Just #3,000? This is incredible”

But wait...

This is not a true story, but it’s what you have faced or about to if nothing is done.

Why should you hire a Graphic Designer for something simple that you could do yourself with your smartphone? Not all graphics should be given to a Graphic Designer.

For reading to this stage, I have something for you

I and my partner Samson have decided to organize a Free WhatsApp Training on Graphic Designing and other skills because we love impacting knowledge and adding value by teaching people new skills.

If you are interested in joining the Free WhatsApp Training contact me here

I think moving threads to the front-page is a nice initiative and will promote more viewership from site visitors/forum members in other time zones. But seun will need to have someone available to ensure odd fellows don't trash the threads before the sun breaks.

LMAO..... And they want you to learn Data Science? Not that's it will be impossible sha but it would have been very difficult to catchup. But then, it's not impossible to pick the interest and actually follow through. Why not a PGD then MBA? Or if the money is there, you go into business and return to develop yourself after stabilising.

Straightforward from where to where?

If you can keep the whole 613 laws, then it's okay to pay tithe. If you can't keep all 613 laws then paying tithe attracts a curse. Please read Galatians 3 vs 10-11

Christ has set you free, dont be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.... see Galatians 5 vs 1-4

I'm not saying you can't give if you want to, you can but please don't call it tithe.

Tithe has nothing to do with Christianity.
Christ never paid or collected tithe.
Can't you see how you keep tripping yourself, already mixing up the religious and cultural laws or how did you count up to over 600 laws? I'm just wasting my time here. Cherry on.

Kobojunkie:
There are two covenants - the old Covenant/Old wine which is the agreement between God and the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and then you have the new covenant which is the Grace of God to all men.

The New Covenant/New wine is the set of laws/rules/commandments that Jesus Christ gave us and commanded all those who love Him to Obey.

Do not mix old wine and New wine.. Jesus Christ was clear about that. And God also commanded that no man add or remove from His commandments in either case.
Stop muddling words. Either answer the questions or go back and study your Bible diligently.

Jesus Christ was not her judge... And those who set themselves up as her judge..well, you know what became of them.
Also nowhere in that story are you informed that the woman believed in Jesus Christ. She was a sinner and so the reason why He asked her to go and sin no more.
Which bible are you reading?

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

We don't pay tithe because Jesus Christ has not commanded it and those who love Jesus Christ, obey His teachings/commandments
Jesus did not condemn the woman caught in adultery so going by your logic one could be an adulterous Christian.

The old laws are in the old testament, which has already been fulfilled and no longer binding.
Christians are the followers of Christ, and thus not under the old law but should live the Christlike life.
Hence we may now commit adultery, lie and kill.

He did not instruct his followers not to pay tithe but He said He came to fulfil the old law, of which tithing was one of them. What does it mean to fulfil something?

Rom.10.4 - For Christ is THE END OF THE LAW for righteousness to EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES.
And what are the rest of this "old law" or is tithing the only old law and Christ could not mention it? Where did Jesus specify that it was the "old law" he was to fulfill?

Lekute:
an oyinbo man was spotted doing a conductor business on a commercial bus in Lagos State.

• This made many people react, that how can he leave his developed country and come to Nigeria, not even to enroll in one White-collar job in Nigeria, but one of the difficult jobs in Nigeria. Many gave him a thumbs up, for his courage to do this.

What baffled people around is that he is fluently Calling on and persuading passengers to enter the 'danfo bus' in Nigerian pidgin.

What do you this about this 'Oyinbo conductor'. Do you think his country was not developed for him to do this kind of work in Nigeria?

copied.
You no ask the 'conductor', him driver or passengers question, you come dey ask us question. Better warn yourself.
