I no even understand when I'm due again but na this March o, no porting. Scan dated 20/3, 15/3, 10/3 and the last dated 26/2 while lmp was June 13
Last week wednesday Antenatal that I was checked, was told that I would not miss that week that the baby engaged fully and ready to be born.
So the hospital called me today to ask how I was doing and I told the matron I was eating yam and egg. She laughed, said something has to be done tomorrow because the last scan dated feb.26, baby at 3.2kg and friday will be the completed 2weeks plus so the plancenta won't work again.
Pls sabi mamas, am I already due or let labour take its full course at its right time. I don't want to be under unnecessary labour while the baby is not ready. Though I feel pain sometimes but no show to say labour has begun

LMP is d 1st Choice in calculating EDD if you are very sure of it. Then a scan before 12weeks. The further gone you are the more varied a scan date will give you.
You are due as from 37weeks but no intervention will be done for you till 40weeks + dats all things being equal.
They may want to bring out your baby if they fear he's on the big side since you hv crossed the 37weeks marks.
To answer your question, you are due(term) but not overdue(post term)

@Muzbay, just prepare your mind. It may or may not move up since you are close to the 36wks mark. The low lying placenta is most likely the cause of d breech presentation. But then never say never. God is involved, pray and keep your cool, it may still move up.

Sorry o! Colic can be discomforting for both mum and baby.
Make sure baby is latching on well while sucking.
Always burp after feeds and when she seems to be in discomfort too. Do it till she belches.
While bathing her massage(not with force) tummy with warm water.
While bathing her too, drop warm water in her anus, you will see her passing gas or even pooing. They feel relieved after that.
You may need to reduce eating foods dat cause gassiness eg. nuts, beans etc
You may need to get infacol, it's an OTC med for colic
Colic peaks as from 6wks of age and subsides before 4months of age.

0.5ml (dropper full) before each feed. If it's the very serious type you may give 2 dropper full.

Is it a gaping hole? Are you in pains? Is the site raw? If it is gaping then you may need to go back to see ur doctor. Atimes the stitches burst and you see a small hole which will still heal. You may need to continue sitzbath in the mean time. All the best

Abeg mamas make una touch lite for this my matter. Since I was born, I have never experienced nose bleed. But recently, I have been bleeding seriously thru one of my nose, this is the 3rd time it is happening, and it last for about 10-15mins. Is it anything related to my pregnancy? Should I be worried?

I do have it when i'm pregnant and only when I'm preg though not serious. It's not that uncommon.

Drop is more concentrated than the syrup. It's either you give her 0.3ml to 0.6ml(depending on her weight) from d dropper, it's calibrated there or you give 2.5ml of regular paracetamol syrup. Cheers

Megilicious, I guess you feed baby very well before she sleeps. Some babies are light sleepers and whenever they wake, they must nurse for comfort not necessarily cos of hunger. Doo! It's a phase just endure till you wean her but she might still change before then

Nggie, I hear rising baby powder works but I haven't used it before.
