Don't worry It's a phase and he will soon adapt.
Make sure he latches well. Eat well,take lots of fluid and rest during the day. Tk care

Salbutamol yes, if it's a wheezy cough.
Ampicillin? Na really village u go. Haven't seen that drug for almost a decade, same for Suphatriad(M n B).
They should work but hope you don't react to sulphur drugs and you are passed first trimester. Dooooo

1. U can take bournvita why not.
2. Vomit or spit-ups? Most babies spit up/possets. Try not to overfeed and also burp often. Since he's adding weight adequately no cause for alarm.

I think the best to ask the user is how far gone in pregnancy? And for a dr to prescribe it, the patient must have gone past first trimester.

Augumentin is not the strongest but one of the strongest anti biotics. I used it to clear infection.

Caution is should be applied pls.

I had earlier responded to the question by esof1 and I did ask her her trimester. That not withstanding, Augmentin is safe even in first trimester. It is a category B drug. But like they say, caution is to be exercised when takin drugs generally in first trimester.
Also, @olubankemi, Augmentin is not actually what brings out dead foetal particles. It was given to prevent any infection as a result of retained POC. Most gynae and obstetric produres (miscarriage, abortion, normal delivery, CS etc) require antibiotics as a cover against infections.

Demijevu, try ubth, faithmediplex, ponders end @ new benin, mount Gilead @ Uselu. I use UBTH and I rate them good.

But taaaaaa, augumentin in pregnancy in malaria case? Do you have infection? How far are you gone? I used this drug when I had a miscarriage and failed to come out, I used it to bring out the dead foetus of about 12 weeks. I used it and in three hours the blood that refused to come came. Dr asked me to use it for seven days and come back for scan. it cleared it all.

Pls, I was also told its one of the strongest anti biotics. Stay aways from it if you ask me.

Augumentin isn't the strongest antibiotic and it is safe in pregnancy. She has cough.

Most of us have malaria parasite plus one. I guess ur doctor is just being careful dats y he's treating for malaria (camoquine).
U didn't state ur trimester. If u r past first trimester, it's safe to take these drugs. No fear for deformity. Lol.

Mama, d little I know of genital wart is that:
1.Pregnancy makes them grow faster but are not generally considered to pose a serious risk to you or your baby.
2.After delivery, there's a high chance they may fall off.
3.Baby can contract wart (HPV) during birth though rare. some Drs opt for CS if d wart is covering the veejay.
4.It's advisable to do a pap smear.
Work with ur dr an all will be well.

My goodness the lady lovingly said I give them puriton syrup oo if d cries are too much
I was like Wat Madame she even went on to say my baby cried for long so she gave to calm her down

@tatacherie, they must have given her leftover. I had same experience with my first so I stopped expressing. I usually go there to bfeed once they flash me. The luck I had was that the creche is owned by my establishment and just a stone throw. As for d drowsiness, when they start creche newly they are usually unsettled and don't sleep well @ d creche. The week we started creche, as soon as we get home by 2:30, mine will sleep from 3pm to 8:30pm.
Like other mums have suggested,pay them a surprise visit. Sorry o

Wen I cudnt sleep all tru d night. I went for ANC today. D doc checked wen I complain abt d contractions am aving on n off. N back pain. He deep is hand inside to check if it in position. To God b d glory my pelvic is now at d center n d vagina area is soft. He cud feel d head. But was told if until my water ruputures or mucus is seen Dat wen I can cum or I choose to b induced at d moments. I said no induce straight away. Even though today is my birthday n I love to av him today. I said no.will wait till he his hitting me so bad. Hope I did d right thing.

If your contraction gets stronger head to the hospital or you see mucus or water. Induction isn't called for yet except you desperately want ur LO to share birthday with you. I presume you haven't passed your EDD. BTW, happy birthday and many lovely years to you.

@kilonso001, babies that are fussy eaters tend to eat more @ creche. If it's cereal, you can tell them d number of scoops to give ur baby per feed.

Op, your wife has a low libido. She can't help feeling d way she does abt sex, I can't tell you you won't keep feeling ds way but with proper heart to heart communication, you may reach a compromise.
