@ nkkystel, in 3rd trimester there's usually slightly elevated level of glucose in urine. Also high carbohydrate breakfast can be the culprit. It's probably nothing to worry yourself. Like they told you relax till you do another test next week. Baby may even come before then. Lol

Since you people have been discharged from hospital that means his bilirubin level(jaundice) is under control. Like Rezzy said, early morning sun is good and also feed baby well.
Note that the eyes don't get white suddenly. It's gradual only make sure it's not getting more yellow.

@mbula, it's normal for your cycle to be a bit irregular after childbirth. It will still normalise so relax yourself. However, your cycle length(24days) may or may not change. Cheers
@maureensylvia, heartburn is part of the package o! Your womb pushes your stomach up and the acidic content comes up and irritates your throat. Spicy food and lying down immediately after a meal makes it worse. Get a good antacid, it helps.

Am still in shock, decided to go MIA bt still couldn't help coming back here. She developed a high bp during d whole process, she was induced, even after delivery, d bp couldn't b managed. The Dr said it went into convulsion. Jst simple carelessness, she would hv had a CS n had her peace bt he wanted her to try VBAC.

Now this is so very sad. Pls accept my condolence.

Is the discharge much as in copious? You can use penicillin eye ointment if it isn't much

@ ambient, sorry o! From your last scan what was the position of the placenta. Atimes very low lying placenta causes bleeding too. I guess your Drs have ruled that out. It's well

Happy vigilante teamie. When it's healing it gets itchy. May take up to 4 to 8 weeks or even more depending on the degree of cut/tear. In my previous when i was given a cut,i used dettol and salt though Dr told me to use only salt. I guess using only salt is the right thing to do.

Hi moonert, you can increase your hematinics to twice daily.
2. Add steamed ugu to most of your meals. Steam it with crayfish, tomatoes and onions.
3. Try and eat meat/fish/egg daily.
With these your pcv should come up before your edd. I suppose you have had 2 IPTs. All the best

Oh Lord our God, we thank you for the gift of life to us, our families and friends. Father we want to particularly pray for the pregnant women on this thread. Dear God please be with them through out their pregnancy and the hour of their delivery. Lord we pray against complications in whatever form. We particularly remember Chinwendym that you will make her healing complete and that no mother here will experience such. Wherever the complications are coming from, be it spiritual, physical whatever, we cancel them IJN. Father all those that lost their Lo pls surprise them and our ATC sisters also surprise. Thank you Lord for we have prayed IJN. Amen

@lioha... nothing special was done... d nurse did a great job, she's so gud @ taking deliveries without cuting or giving episiotomy...!! she made use of olive oil & told me to push, my baby came out after d 2nd push..!!

Yes i think this olive oil works cos my nurse also used it. I think it makes the place slippery for d baby to come out easily

Are you a man? Sometimes i wish i can come back from work, fold my legs, read newspaper and have someone serve me dinner. I wish atimes to trade my sleepless night when i have a baby and i can go on and on. So don't tell how easy motherhood is.

All IPT are given after quickening (when you feel your lo kicks). Sorry abt the itch, try not to scratch but pat.
