No and yes. I remember when I was fixing Benz in Abuja that the issues were very different from that of the range rover . In Abuja, it's the big men that uses Benz and so paying 600k to service the vgs of a cls 550 is a better option than taking it to Capital motors that will change the gear. For a Range Rover, less than 60k and the gear is back. That cylinder misfires that damages the catalyst is the major problem with Benz. And the worst part is the Amg brand. It requires a higher grade of premium fuel than other regular Benz.

There is a big difference between a car that recommends premium gasoline and a car that requires premium gasoline fuel only. Read the effect of using lower octane fuel on the engine of a car that requires premium fuel. Acura owners know what they are going through in the hands of our fuel ditto Vw and BMW. Only the range rover is still on the road managing the fuel.

The 4 balloons of a 2010 e550 cost 1.2m. That is what makes it special. As common as w123 was, as per repairs, everybody were still buying engines for the car. Air filters for the vboot series in majority of the vehicles were mostly found in the boot, The car was struggling to breathe. I know a lot of people who took 6 months to raise money for balloons and afterwards sell off the damn shit for their peace of mind. It is the only car that you cannot change a balloon, you must change both. And the fuel is out of the country, 85% of the Benz in Nigeria are battling with sludge and the owners are easily misled by the Mobil 1 sticker and therefore use the petrol and diesel variant instead of the gasoline only. Mercedes Benz has no business being driven in Nigeria. All these yuppie guys buying them are working for our (Mechanics) benefit. It is on top of the car we will roof our houses. The parts sellers that will sell fake ATF as Star, sells any plugs so long they are Star not minding the fact that an S class cannot use the same plugs with a B class. So what makes Benz special to the owners? The cost of owning one and maintaining it to be on the road has removed the pleasure of enjoying the thrills of driving a Benz on cruise control at 200km per hour on a beautiful highway.

Star 134 or look for 8 speed gear oil. It's difficult to find but look for it else the gear will go. Try also pure guard from jumia and ask them if the one that they have has Nag 2 specifications

Yes, his refinery will produce Euro 5 fuel by 2021 and all the current cars since 2016 are using euro 6. Even corolla is 6, so if my 2006 RRs reach 2021 before e begin use premium unleaded, the car fit don kaput. Then these 2016 cars that have been using euro 4 all this time would have been gone by 2021 due to bad fuel and useless engine oil. Dangote is a scam. For that amount of money being used to build the refinery, there must be a good r and d department that will analyze the market and provide the fuel that will be suitable for the country in the future. The current fuel now is euro 6 and he will produce euro 5 in 2021. Those wey dey buy land for ibeju lekki have not visited warri refinery to see if there are any advantages living near the refinery.

The options in that car is what Toyota is giving their modern cars right now and they have failed on the abs and all the road dynamics. The 2010 version of the RR is 4m. Without an engine in a RR, ladipo guys will give you 700k. Even a 2011 Rrs without the engine is sold for 1.5m. Bottom line is the oil. Use good oil and boost the fuel and e go better. I am thinking of going back to the basics. I need a 760 gle Volvo 1988 model. That car is suitable for our current Nigerian situation. Toks please
