Why waiting for referendum when they can all return back to their region, withdraw all their elected and appointed political leaders from any Nigeria office, stop collecting monthly Oyel money and make your Eldorado only your 5 states.

Do that and see if anyone would bug una.

Go Igbo, go Igbo, go Igbo
Why not call all your tribesmen to also leave igbo land if your dumb brain thinks a breakup means individuals have to leave their current residence.

Patriotism cannot be forced.

When a whole tribe of millions of people have one voice saying they want to go, the best thing is to do a referendum and let them go.

Using scarce resources to patch Nigeria wont work.

The government is just postponing the breakup day.

CultureRe: Christianity Has Kept Us In Perpetual Bondage. by sotall(m): 4:32am On Jul 03, 2023
So true!

The present generation of Nigerians have been indoctrinated and brainwashed from childhood with islam and Christianity and all they think about is how to make it into an imaginary heaven.

This indoctrination and brainwashing from childhood is the greatest sin ever committed on humanity!

It produces a people that are mentally lazy and confused and those who live by wishful thinking of believing in prayers. This is why you see most Nigerians shouting God and Jesus in almost every activity of their daily lives especially for things they should be achieving with their brains and physical body.

You see their politicians wasting public wealth in buikding worship centers in government institutions and sponsoring religious vacations with scarce resources while majority of the people are in abject poverty.

Go to every nook and cranny of Nigeria and see religious centers competing with residential spaces.
Valuable time that should be used in solving our immediate problems are wasted by the youths motivation centers.

A big damage has been done to our psych and the plaga has a already taken root. With a significant majority already zombified, it will be a herculean task re-informing our people.

If we have so many churches and mosques and and the country is backward do you think that closing down all the churches and mosques is the bright idea that will make the country move forward?
Sure!

By doing so, we are gonna have a generation that aren't indoctrinated nor brainwashed from childhood.
They will grow up with the right mentality of not believing in prayers but using their brains to work and find solutions to our problems.

This doesn't really make any meaningful sense. You have blamed Christianity and Islam for the woes of the country. You also said that a good number of blacks have woken up from the slumber of practicing these 2 religions.
But u fail to link the good number of people that woke up to any real progress anywhere. U also failed to actually link the religions to the woes of the country.
Then u claimed that the religions centres if converted to factories will do a lot of good. I tend to agree, but who will convert them? Did these religions stop anyone from building the factories? Are they actually to blame for the lack of factories?
Who is going to build the factories and research centers when majority only believe in prayers?

Remember i am emphasizing the word "majority".

For there to be a change, majority has to be re-informed and dissuaded from the way they think.

Those who are supposed to build the factories, research centers and bring about innovation and invention are in the churches and mosques praying.

liv church buildings buddy ,d govt will still loot wats left of naija , abi na church n mosque dey drag naija economy?
Some of you dont just get it, i wonder why.

The Nigerian people aren't productive. We just pray and believe and expect things to work out without putting in the work.

Someone who has been brainwashed and indoctrinated from childhood that his primary assignment here is to go to heaven will not even think about doing research that will lead to innovation and invention which will in turn bring prosperity to the land.

You think the prosperity of other nations was spawned by their government?
When the mindset of the vast population is right, trust me so many things will fall in place.
You dont need to pray for what you can use your brain to get.

Our people needs to know that we need to get down to work with our brain and solve problems which will in turn bring prosperity.
But then which brain are we going to use right now? The one that has been indoctrinated to only believe in prayers?

SeriouslySense:
I think you are rushing into hasty conclusions.

You forget that educational levels are different between the regions, and for instance education is lower in the north than in the south and sometimes the south is not encouraged to realize its full potential, in order to not outshine others and to prevent the south form becoming too independent.

For instance Igbos are very religious, but they are also very industrious, its not the religion, its the value system.

Yoruba are also very smart, and can be very flexible, it has nothing to do with religion, but their value system.

If these two tribes are allowed to do as they want to do, they can become like advanced Nations.

The country has a problem of people with different values and people are sometimes intimidated by the talents of others because they are lacking in themselves, and want them suppressed.
The problem of wishful thinking and mental laziness is not limited nor restricted to any region in Nigeria.

Its a Nigerian thing. No one is physically nor legally holding us from doing the right thing.
Its just the indoctrination and brainwashing right from childhood that has ensured our lives only revolves around just a few of us actually working witn our intellect and breaking out of poverty but not any further.
The majority dont. They just keep praying and believing all their lives and never succeed in their personal lives not to talk about conquering the environment.

Your thoughts,
Now mine: even if 100% of churches are used for factories. Your government will pull it down!
Ask yourself how many government owned institutions or factories still functions?

The one individuals try to build they frustrate them with heavy tax levy.
I live in a state where the government told a construction 🚧 company that wanted to base in Nigeria. 60/40. That is, government will own 40% and they 60% outrageous.
Before innoson motors got a name in Nigeria, do you know the battleshuh

Your country doesn't like good things, the goal is to keep everyone pooor. So even if they change churches to factories, government will pull it down. Na me dey tell you. simple, so let's pray our way out instead.
Yes the government has its own blames in Nigeria's economic woes and underdevelopment but my writeup was focusing on the part of the citizens as they too are responsible for what Nigeria has become today.

A people who have been indoctrinated and brainwashed by religion can never be productive.
They are mentally lazy and have conditioned their mind and energy into believing and wishfull thinking which are by-products of prayers.

Have you wondered why we barely produce most of what we use in our day to day life?

How did other progressive countries get to where they are today? They didn't pray nor started to believe in imaginary things. They worked for it.

In the next 50-100 years Christianity will be odd itself. Christianity rules is defined by the odds of society.

When the society was sane, the Christianity was sane. As society started changing with odds so do Christianity.

Very soon LGBT will be norm too.

When TV came, some said it's devil box, today they use it in all their churches. Sane with phone and social media. This is rvide6that wr cannot define Good or bad, my mere judgement of our head only. But This is what we have today

And that's the problem of a people without rules or standard. That's why Islam 6just beautiful. With rules and standard. The modalities, practises of the mosque is same and not modernity will change it. It's Good, because the rule will prevent odds of society.
Where islam is today, Christianity was yesterday.

Trust me holding on to archaic beliefs in the midst of glaring truths and facts that points away from what is in the Quran wont hold for a longtime.
The leaders of islam knows this hence they operate the religion like a cult.

A significant number of black people have woken up and liberated from the scam of Abrahamic religion i.e Christianity and islam

If you still practice any of the two Abrahamic religion, its time you wake up and ditch that slave master's history book.

Have you asked yourself with number of churches and mosque in Nigeria and the amount of prayers offered, the country is very backward and not working?

If we can conclude anything, it is that the prayers aren't working.

If the prayers they offer works, Nigeria will be heaven on earth by now considering the number of churches on every inch and corner of Nigeria.

If 80% of the buildings used as worship centers are turned to factories, do you know how much it will contribute to Nigeria's economy?

Just as a young and beautiful girl will have many men talking to her and she will have many of them playing different roles in her life, so is it for a man that is very rich and famous.

Women needs to understand this and have peace.

You cannot stop a rich man from taking on many women.

Likewise a guy cant stop that pretty fine lass from having many suitors, boyfriends, sugar daddy, etc.

Nein! You know the number of Yoruba girls that have come out to challenge Hilda's record since she did hers?

I guess if Hilda was Yoruba, and members ( not one) of a particular ethnic group are desperately trying to outshine her in a short space of time after she accomplished her record, Yorubas will not take it easy with that tribe.

Its really disgusting. It reeks of jealousy.
Why not wait after one year or more?

Riddle me this. Why isn't there a kw in the Edo alphabet then? You're pronouncing Kue fast and thinking you're saying 'kw'
It doesn't have to be an alphabet for the sound to be there.

Kue or Kwe as pronounced in Edo is fast, together and one syllable.

You dont say Ku-e. You simply say "kwe".

That Edos decided to spell it "kue" doesn't mean you pronounce it Ku-e.

Its one syllable and is "Kwe"

An Edo names dictionary says Iyalekhue (which you wrote as Iyalekue) means I forgive; and Ikuenobe means I will not succumb to evil.

You're more than welcome to correct what I saw in the dictionary. Set the record straight by telling us what the names mean.
You keep asking questions and i keep clearing your doubts. Quit arguing, learn and move on.

Now see the names and their meanings in Edo language

Osakue....God agrees

Osamakue...God didn't agree

Ehikue...(my) spirit agrees

Ikuenobe....i wont/didnt agree/succumb to evil

Iyalekue....i forgive.
CultureRe: If Isoko Are Nt Urhobo, How Are Ukwani/ikwere Now Igbo(innocent Question) by sotall(m): 10:36am On Jul 01, 2023
RedboneSmith:
Yes, they are not pronounced the same! If you have been calling your Igbo friend Osakue, you have been pronouncing his name wrong. Osakwe is pronounced with a strong kw- sound, like in other Igbo words like ụkwụ (leg) or Chukwu. Edo people who don't have this sound in their language will typically say uku and Chuku, except for those who have self consciously trained themselves to articulate the kw- sound.

So for you it is Osa-K-U-e. With a 'k' and a 'u' sounds.

For your Igbo friend it is Osa-KW-e. With a single 'kw' sound.

Learn the difference, oga.
Stick to speaking igbo language and dont try to dabble into other languages you have no knowledge of.

Pronunciation of "Osakue" in Edo language has the "Kw" sound. It is not pronounced KU-e.
It is pronounced "Kwe". And it means "agree".

Stop soreading half truths and ignorance here.
