And someone is trying to convince me dat dis country has any hopes.
lord lugard were u blindhuh
Don't blame Luggard, it seems you DONT read. when the issue of indepence came up in 1958 d North made it very clear that they don't want to be part of Nigeria, it was your kinsman Nnamdi Azikiwe that championed the campaign that the north must be part of Nigeria. Even when the North said it was not ready for independence the south said it was going to wait for the north that is why Nigeria got her independence in 1960 not 1958 as earlier wanted. Go and read the book titled " there was a country" read between page 50 to 55. the book was written by your kinsman Chinua Achebe. I think people should stop coming online to display ignorance.

They are kept as exhibits until the end of litigations, even with that the president cannot just use the money until the national assembly pass its consent. this is why it is included in the 2017 budget. They president stated to the national assembly that he wants a substantial part of the monies recovered to be used to fund the 2017 budget which if pass the president can now use d money.

The North needs Oyel money more than anything else. You mean dry northern forest hold oil reserve? Lol. Buhari is playing politics with Niger Delta oil money.
You asked a question, let me educate you even though d south erroneously believed it is educated. when you asked whether the dry northern forest hold oil reserve, I will advise you look at the world distribution of oil. Majority of the richest oil reserves are located in dry countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, Irag, Libya, Niger, California in USA and many others. Niger Republic having oil suggest that Northern Nigeria has oil. It will b an act of foolishness if d neighbour just behind your window is tapping oil and you are doing nothing to also tap. it is very unfortunate that some comments here show some people will not be happy if oil is finally strike in d North.

It's not a matter of oil or not, it's a matter of orientation and leadership. No matter the volume of oil the North has, there would still be beggars coming from the North to beg all around Nigeria.

There is no sector that the North has excelled in leadership and management.
Is just that in the North we prefer to b beggers than to be kidnappers, armed robbers, drug pushers etc.

Everything dollar has gone up, what do you need dollar for? the dollar went up not because the naira is weak but because we refused to produce enough goods and services for export.

The police force can also reel out what tangible thing they have achieved due to this men's sacking. Afterall, he will claim they will hinder his progress, let him come and show us his progress due to this sacking.
The police is a regimental setup, it will amount to shame for those retired officers to want to remain to salute and take orders from their junior

The church is a house of God where anybody both the sinners n righteous, protocols and non-protocols are all welcomed. Creating a dermarcation in the church in the name of special sit is ridiculous. You came early u went to the front row to sit that is what is supposed to be.
Reserving sit for a protocol who is still in his house bathing and contemplating whether to attend or not is arrant nonsense.
That is why i love catholic church i can come on time and sit anywhere and close to any body protocol n non protocol. Who you epp.
Even the usher that saw u where leaving n left u to leave did not know she has failed in her primary duty as an usher which is to welcome everyone and make them feeel at home.
My brother u did notin wrong. Its not Ego problem. Is just the church's way of telling you that you are inconsequential.
Don't come here to tell lies even the catholic church there is sitting arrangement not that you can sit anywhere you want according to you. Next time you enter a catholic service go and sit where is reserved for the choir or mass servants if you are not one of them and let me see how they will allow you. Reserving sit for protocol or choir is the same.

I just really want to believe you don't understand the settings I projected. I was not being disobedient or stubborn. I just felt it was wrong for the Usher to do that, in the middle of worship? Noo. That know protocol na. It's always just one lady who sits there. She's to direct new comers and all that... Moreover, she only sits when new comers are being announced. No one was sitting there when I did. An elderly woman sat with me, they didn't say nothing to her oo. What if the church was filled up? Won't they create that space for people?
No excuses just ask God to forgive you

Christianity EtcRe: Why I Stormed Out Of The Church Today. by southpole: 4:11pm On Jan 22, 2017
sipsip:
Now please read and judge with care and concern. I arrived the church today for the second service. After Sunday school I was contemplating if I should sit where I am or move to the front. Now I have this Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder. One of them is sitting at the back in any gathering. I don't like it. Right from time... After thinking of it for a while, I take my stuffs and move to the front row. The second row has been fully occupied. Thing is my church is a province, a fairly large one. Nobody really sits in the front row... Partly because they don't like being in the view of everyone and also because it's reserved for 'protocol'. Kinda. Keep following...

Being that I'm always in the second row, I've noticed over time that just one or two protocols sit on the first row every Sunday. It's a row with about ten or more seats. Now I don't mind sitting there cause I don't like to be at the back. Have in mind it's not the ministers or 'first timers' seat. Those one are on one side. Everyone knows. I'm sitting in the front row in the middle of worship when an Usher comes to me and say I can't seat there. "Why? I asked." he said it's for protocol. Protocol? Not ministers oo. I told him I don't want to sit at the back. Moreover no one is going to sit there. What if the church was filled up, won't people sit there? He goes to call another Usher who says the same thing.

To cut the story short, I told them since the church is now their own house, I'm leaving. Moreover, I was already getting angry which is not good for worship. I left even with everyone staring and all... Tell me, did I do wrong? Any one with such unnecessary protocol experience? Maybe I'm too much of a 'right claimer'?
If you new who you went to worship you could have quietly obey them, and worship your God. Do you mean because of man's attitude you decided not to worship God? May be you thought you went their to do God a favour.

Let's say I need 100k to start a business. If I go to the bank, I'll be paying 10k monthly as interest! The capital is still there. The same too with credit facilitators.

No tell me, what sort of business will I be doing in this Nigeria so as I'll be able to pay 10k as interest monthly, then I'll feed myself and my family and alsi will be able to pay the capital?

However, with MMM! Even if I can get someone to get me 20k, in I months time, I'll get 32k or 34k. Then if I invite people to it, I'll also be getting interest from their donations. And I can manage that money, let's say I contribute again for the next 3 months! I may even have close to 300k to start a good business without the headache and high BP of thinking of how to pay interest and capital.
the problem is that no MMM player was thinking of starting any business, their plans were just to return the interest and the capital into the system to get more money so that a time will come every farmer will stop farming to rely sole on mmm like wise other producers of essential goods and services and a day could have come that you cannot see food to buy with your so-called mmm money, teachers will quit their jobs you will not find any school to take your children to and the trend will continue in other sectors. THANK GOD MMM IS DEAD

****With MMM, people don't needs loan from banks again to start business. Neither will they consult naijabet or betnaija again.

They will simply wait for 2 to 3 month for money to grow and them will take it to start a serious business without the headache of paying interest every single month.

Have you ever thought that without MMM, the 500k will wouldn't have circulated to those with smaller amount, rather, it will be in the bank for bankers to use them for their profit? But with MMM! The person with 500k can donate to the person with 100k to turn to 130k? Something that wouldn't normally happen?

Your hatred for MMM simply makes you myopic. I can't blame you, you are in a slave society and you just got used to the propaganda of those controlling you.

The image below fittingly describes you.
What you didn't understand is that with MMM people became lazy members were doing little or nothing while those who were doig something were already thinking of how to quit doing something, their thoughts are like why should I work when I can just provide the so called help and within a short time I will get a profit that is more than my salary. The situation could have reach a point where no body would be ready to produce goods or services because money is flowing from mmm. if such is allowed to happen huge money would be pursuing very limited goods and services

If Nigeria is a secular state how comes the eastern Nigeria don't provide land for a mosque or Islamic schools to be built. U would agree with me that we 've more churches spread across the north than the south eastern nigeria. We even 've an archbishop of sokoto but no chief iman of enugu, anambara beyelsa etc. Would u say we 've Muslim student association in any university in the southeast of so prove me wrong.
it is because the number of Christians in the north are in many millions compare to the number of Muslims in the east, but the case is different in the west because Muslims are in their millions

Dear writer, don't mistaken giving of alms to tithing. The word of God standeth sure. Malachi 3 vs 10-11, God was trying to tell us that the key to kingdom prosperity lies in tithing. He said and I shall open the windows of heaven and pour you blessings and devourers rebuked as a result of your obedience. Don't be concern about who takes the tithe, but be concerned about His faithfulness to fulfilling His promises. if you don't give your tithe, things would be tight for you and devourers would come in different forms of wasting to swallow your finances. Take it nor leave it, tithing averts calamities and opens doors of sweatless blessings to addicted tithers. So learn to be an addicted tither not a mocker of the written word.
Going by your preaching addicted tithers like you should have been the richest people in d world not the likes of Dangote who is not even a christian talk less of paying tithe

BusinessRe: The Beginner’s Guide To Bitcoin In Nigeria: A Bitcoin FAQ by southpole: 6:36am On Dec 19, 2016
NairaExsupport:
The definitive guide to Bitcoin is finally here ! All your questions will hopefully be answered as we aim to introduce you to the currency of the future, Bitcoin.

What is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is an electronic form of currency and a payment system invented by Satoshi Nakamoto. Nakamoto unveiled the idea on 31 October 2008 to a cryptography mailing list, and released it as open-source software in 2009.

Bitcoin is decentralized peer-to-peer system, No single bank, government, company or individual owns the network or has control over it. This means that your accounts can never be frozen, a government cannot devalue the currency, it can be used in every country and because of the anonymous nature of Bitcoin. A Bitcoin wallet isn't not tied to any your identity and a new one may be created at will.

Mining - How Bitcoins are created

The Bitcoin was founded upon mathematical proof which stipulate that there can only ever be 21 million Bitcoins. Unlike other currencies, no more can be printed. New Bitcoins are released into circulation by rewarding miners for their work in using specialized computers in processing and verifying Bitcoin transactions.

What is the Price and how it it determine?

Like other currencies and commodities, the value of Bitcoin fluctuates wildly based on supply and demand and its perceived value. In October 2009, a first exchange rate was published, listing the value of 1,309 Bitcoins at $1. Bitcoins were cheap and throughout the following year they continued to trade for fractions of a cent. The first known transaction with Bitcoin occurred in 2010 when a Florida resident offered 10,000 Bitcoins to anyone who would order him a pizza. One user in London agreed, making a long-distance phone call to a Papa John's and cementing the first Bitcoin transaction in history.
Bitcoin started getting popularity around 2013 and reached over $1,200.00 in November. At the time of this writing the value of a Bitcoin is $664.10. However, you don't need a whole Bitcoin, Bitcoins can be broken down into smaller units, the smallest being one hundred millionth of a Bitcoin – called a Satoshi, after the anonymous founder of Bitcoin.

What can I use Bitcoin for?

Today’s financial system makes moving money around the world slow, costly and inconvenient due to fricti
on and capital controls. Bitcoins offers cheaper alternative to traditional money.

1. International Money Transfer and shopping : Bitcoin is redefining remittance, Africans pays the highest money transfer fees in the world to send and receive home abroad in addition to poorly calculated currency conversion rates. Because Bitcoin exists on the internet, which itself is global and borderless, you can simply exchange local currency to Bitcoin and transfer the Bitcoin to the recipient in other countries and they convert it back to their local currency in their country of residence.

You can pay for goods and services online using Bitcoin a lot cheaper compared to things like credit cards or Paypal without having to worry about foreign exchange fees and security of your personal information. A lot of businesses are accepting Bitcoin at the checkout and provide customers with a Bitcoin payment gateway to make spending simple and fast.

2.Trading(Forex)/Investment: Bitcoin is the new store of value

African investors traditionally invested in foreign currencies and Gold with the current global economic turmoil due to the crude oil price, investors are looking into Bitcoin as a currency not affected by central bank policies and poltical agendas. Bitcoin performed better than stocks, commodities & bond yields and was the top performing currency Of 2015 by a whopping 35%.

Bitcoins offers new investment opportunities for Nigerians due to the Bitcoin volatility, the rate of Bitcoin tends to grow as the market fluctuates. For example, If you bought $100 at 220 Naira in Jan,2016 before the Naira devaluation you'll have 33,000-35,000 Naira if you converts it back to Naira, the same $100 could have bought 0.4 BTC in January which is now worth $264.4 converted that to Naira at 335 that's 88,574 NGN compared to 33,000 Naira with USD.

How To Use Bitcoin

1. Create a Bitcoin wallet (this is similar to a bank account to holds your money and functions like an email account except that instead of sending a message to an email address, you’re sending an amount of money to a Bitcoin address, such as: 1or96uGo5F7yGqETzpTmuJzvVq49eRBDi

Blockchain.info is the most popular Bitcoin wallet provider. They also have an app for iphone and android so you can take your wallet with you wherever you go.

2. Buy Bitcoins. You can either buy on an exchange or mine them yourself. When buying on an exchange, you would provide your Bitcoin address at the time of purchase and the Bitcoins will be transferred directly into your wallet.

www.nairaex.com is the leading Bitcoin exchange for Bitcoin and Naira and have the best reputation for simplicity and best rates in the Nigeria. You can buy and sell Bitcoins anywhere in the world, Here is a link to exchanges.

3. Spend Bitcoins. More and more businesses are starting to accept Bitcoin. SpendBitcoins & Spendabit has list of places that accept Bitcoin around the world.

You can save 15% Off Amazon with Bitcoin with Purse.io
Buy Common Household Items using Bitcoin at Overstock.com
Use Bitcoin to purchase gift cards from services like eGifter, or Gyft and then redeem them at Amazon, BestBuy, and hundreds of other popular retailers.

It is not just the EFCC. The DSS has well has made it a habit to wantonly disobey court orders especially in this Buhari regime.

I can't count how many judges have ordered that the DSS and the EFCC release accused persons from custody but they still disobey those orders with the tacit approval of the president. We have a vice president who is a senior advocate yet the government's agencies act like they are above the law.

It got so bad that some accused persons have resorted to going to the ECOWAS court to force the Nigerian govt to release them.

I hope the judge in this case will be bold enough to make an order for Magu's arrest.
