there is no love where there is no giving. The only way to prove that you love someone is when you give and share. There is a difference between spending and giving. There are additional skills that come with STEm education and one is speed in problem solving. Thinking fast and solving fast. The ability to solve problems very fast. Art on the other hand requires a slow and steady approach. You don’t dance very fast. You take your steps one after the other. You don’t paint in a rush. You do it gently. One of the things Jamb test is your ability to solve problems very fast. The science students have mastered this, so it is easy .

I am thinking this recruitment will be different from the previous ones considering the situation the oil industry is just coming out from. I think they have specific skills, knowledge and experience they are looking out for and if the already invited candidates do not prove positive, they might invite more. So keep the hope alive guys. Moreover it is the same test we wrote they are going to write. So let them face the reality too. Most of these jobs are not based on the school you finished from. So guy be patient.
Remember company's HR policies are different. Stop comparing Total recruitment process to Mobil's. Just pray, prepare and hope for the best.

Irony of life. Total was willing to sponsor interviews for experienced hires based abroad, Mobil has progressed swiftly with the experienced hires but are still conducting tests for graduates abroad. In my thoughts, should there be successful candidates based abroad for this first stage for graduates, which I am definitely sure there will, Mobil will sponsor them to Nigeria for Interviews. Total didn’t even bother about graduates based abroad. I think to be fair, Mobil should have progressed with the graduate hire the way they are doing with the experienced. How many of these guys based abroad will apply for 100k jobs in Nigeria. Graduates from Nigerian and Public universities, prepare real hard. It’s a war.. it’s sunday so, I ll recommend Surrounded song by Michael W Smith.

how did you come to this conclusion. How many Nigerian graduates land trainee jobs abroad. They have local university graduates just like Nigeria, so why would they hire you before their own local candidates. The Mobil staff relocating are experienced hires not trainee or mid levels.

The answer can be yes or no depending on the two parties. The same problem we associate with nigeria is what's affecting even something so controllable as Exxonmobil's graduate engineer aptitude test. I was in texas a while back - Exxon's HQ and got first hand accounts of how it is being done there. But some people just want to take mediocrity because that's how it is. The only thing i agree with them on is that we can't change it, so no need stressing.

But trust me, if i was in a position of power, i would surely revamp the lazy process of Exxon's Graudate engineer initial recruitment test for Nigerians, that same lazy process that brought about using the inappropriate Dragent test.

If you were at Mobil HQ, you will understand that there is a process and a reason why Mobil is using Dragnet for the first stage of this Graduate application. Are you saying the HR Director with over 20 years experience and other top level guys don't actually know what they are doing. Dragnet conducted the 2012 graduate recruitment, have you bothered to ask yourself why they are still using dragnet. Do you think this recruitment was made open by some graduate trainee? Go back to Texas and ask the right questions. you will understand that every global process is subject to local terms and conditions.

You can make money and get rich. However, you will use that money to provide basic amenities. In the developed climes, you have the basic amenities but you are taxed, pay heavily for rents and utilities and also goods are expensive. For me. I don’t enjoy living as a third or fourth class citizen.
