who gave an unarmed civilian the authority to spend counterfeit notes and break into homes. The problems with many blacks is that they are not hyperrealist and they allow sentiments into everything they do. Two wrongs don’t make a right. My response was to the man who says Floyd should not be judged. If you can’t judge Flyod as a criminal, don’t judge the police man as a murderer.

the murder was intentional just like the victim being a criminal was intentional. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Call what is bad, bad. The guy is a criminal, he was murdered in an unjust way.., two wrongs. They should both be condemned.

if this man was repented before he died, it would have been different. He had spent a counterfeit note, a reason the police came after him. He has been to jail thrice and broken into homes to steal. have you checked the criminal record of George Flyod. There are chances he has murdered someone before. However, it is not enough reason for the policeman to take laws ito his hands. What is needed is police reform and not the unnecessary white supremacy the blacks are shouting.

Two of you will remain either poor or average citizens if you don’t disclose your income and discuss your financial goals with each other. That is why it is good that both partners make money in a relationship. It helps for proper planning and builds trust. I won’t want to disclose my earning to a woman who isn’t making money as I ll see her a liability and so the struggle is there and trust lacking.

You can live among the poor but don’t think like the poor. For you not to think like the poor you have to limit your relations with the poor if you live amongst them. If you want to live amongst the rich and not as rich as they are, you have to be cautious, otherwise you might be pressured to live beyond your means... typical of what is seen in many parts of Lagos. In all, you need wisdom to live.

It is clear that many in government don’t have regard for God and by extension humans. I wonder why there is still ban on religious gathering. It will take less than a month for COVID to wipe out half of the Nigerian population if this disease is deadly as it is being portrayed in Nigeria. Remember the scripture saying we should subject every thought. As a man thinkers so is he. The enemy is very able to capitalize on negative thoughts. Judas had a weakness, love of money, he nurtured the thought of betrayal. When you know your weakness and are working and controlling it, the devil can do very little. Most of Nigerians don’t have ambition. It’s reflective in the economy. And the foundation is marriage. A woman/ man just wants to get married without any life plan, no vision for children. It is understandable that more than likely her employer had a fling with her which resulted in the pregnancy. For all we care she probably initiated it to get favors from her supposedly better off employer, but the fact of her being legally a minor who could not give consent makes it rape.

yes, it can be considered a case of rape but there is a chance this is abused by teenagers out there, in fact it is. “ the notion that after all I am a teenager, he is not supposed to do it” stands which should not. Many will not understand they are crossing boundaries. So I always advise victims should not come out and allege rape because I tell you humans are good at abusing and misinterpreting messages. Rather, admit waywardness, foolishness and ignorance this way a positive message is passed. It’s your past, a mistake yes one may not be proud of it but the truth is these things make us better persons as we have seen in his case.

I strongly believe the rape is as a result of her lack of consent being a minor, and not the forceful violent sex that is generally understood as rape in Nigerian society. Employer probably had a fling with her at work which resulted in the pregnancy, but already married so couldn’t take her in.
She did great raising them up, probably with some support from their father, but I’ll have to agree that she and especially those children stand to lose more than gain from putting everything in the public sphere.

this confirms she wasn’t raped. It’s not nice to always believe stories that look for sympathy or empathy perhaps. The victims try to motivate but in the end they will hurt the parties involved as we have seen. There are debates around when a much older man has sexual relations with a minor, should such cases be considered as rape. Rape is defined as forceful penetration but should it not be forceful and it is between a minor and adult, is it rape? The question she should be asked is if the man has been responsible for these children. If he has, then we don’t need her words of motivation. There are chances that she agreed to it. There are loads of teenagers out there that are waiting for an adult man to come talk to them. I have encountered a number. Such teenagers needs to be dealt with seriously. The message makes it look like it’s happens every time because of vulnerability but no, many of the times, it’s a case of a teenager who wants to explore. How many will come out and condemn their teenage lives... it’s a phase of vulnerability, ignorance and exuberance. However, when we find light and th truth. we should always say the truth to teach others not paint a victim picture.
